Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 137 A New Deception Strategy! The Space Helicopter!”Exactly. Our goal is to drain their resources, so we certainly cannot stop these scientists from returning home!”

Smith realized!

The Secretary of State nodded and continued,

”Not only can we not stop them, but we must also help these scientists overcome all sorts of unfavorable situations!”

”Help them return home!”

”Only in this way can we achieve our goal of strategic deception!”

”Once Dragon Country exhausts a massive amount of resources, only to discover that they’ve researched nothing of value, it will surely infuriate them!”

Smith grinned, ”That’s for sure!”

The Secretary of State’s words also reminded him. Smith felt as if he had been struck by lightning, and suddenly thought:

”Since that’s the case, why not send them another big gift!”

The Secretary of State looked startled, not knowing what Smith meant by this!

But soon, he saw Smith call over a subordinate, who was holding a box in his hands!

As the box opened, stacks of blueprints appeared once again!

Secretary of State Jack took out one of the blueprints and began to examine it carefully!

Then he was stunned!

On the blueprint was a super mechanical platform shaped like a giant delta wing, with a silver-gray shell made of high-strength alloy.

The data on the side indicated that the mechanical platform was powered by an Anti-gravity Engine and ion thrusters.

It was also equipped with weapons such as laser cannons, missile launch systems, and energy shields.

In addition, it featured onboard facilities such as an aircraft deck, a Command Center, and living quarters.

The energy system included a Nuclear Fusion Reactor and solar panels.

Its length and width seemed to reach several thousand meters!

”This is... an Aerospace Carrier!!!”

Secretary of State Jack was shocked!

Seeing his reaction, Smith immediately laughed,

”That’s right, Secretary of State Jack, this is the new technology blueprint we’ve designed over the past few days: an Aerospace Carrier!”

”Of course, this is also part of our strategic deception plan!”

”At best, it is just a conceptual blueprint designed to drain Dragon Country’s strength, provided they believe it!”

Secretary of State Jack slowly regained his composure and looked at the exceptionally professional blueprint in his hands!

He couldn’t help but fall into deep thought!

If only they could actually build the Aerospace Carrier on this blueprint!

This blueprint was highly convincing. Although he had roughly guessed that it was a conceptual blueprint meant to deceive Dragon Country, it looked so professional that he had almost mistaken it for their real manufacturing plan just now!

However, upon closer reflection, with their current technology, it was impossible to build an Aerospace Carrier!

He put down the Aerospace Carrier conceptual blueprint, feeling a bit uncertain now.

”The technological level of this thing is too high; it can be called a sci-fi existence!”

”Do you think Dragon Country will believe it?”

”They shouldn’t be that stupid, right!”

Smith chuckled, ”Dragon Country has now manufactured a mech, so their confidence must be incredibly inflated!”

”Moreover, aren’t they preparing to work on Nuclear Fusion right now? The technological level of Nuclear Fusion is not low either; we have researched it for decades without any breakthroughs, yet Dragon Country dares to attempt it. They might just dare to attempt an Aerospace Carrier too!”

He felt very hopeful!

Secretary of State Jack pondered for two seconds, then finally nodded, ”In any case, it wasn’t easy for you to design this blueprint, so why not send it over to Dragon Country and give it a try!”

”If we really manage to fool them, then we’ve hit the jackpot!”

Smith had the exact same intention!

Meanwhile.

International Nuclear Union.

The original intention behind the establishment of this union was to gather the wisdom of scientists from all over the world to jointly achieve breakthroughs in Nuclear Fusion Technology, thereby benefiting all of humanity.

In one of the rooms.

On the wall hung a photo of Einstein sticking out his tongue, along with various formulas and principles, making the entire place full of a technological atmosphere!

At this moment, Dragon Country expert Professor Mai Zhenzhe was diligently packing his things!

He was a well-known scientist in his fifties, enjoying a prestigious reputation internationally.

He had always been one of the core figures of the International Nuclear Union.

He was also a leading figure in the field of global nuclear research!

He wore glasses and had a slightly chubby face, but he was radiant and gave people a very energetic impression.

At this moment, a faint smile hung on his face.

Not long ago, he had also received the call from his motherland, and now, being able to contribute his strength to his country, he felt very happy.

Just when he had almost finished packing his things, a series of hurried footsteps suddenly sounded outside the room.

The sound stopped abruptly only when it reached the doorway!

Professor Mai Zhenzhe looked up at the person who had arrived and discovered that it was actually the Laboratory person in charge, Gass!

He was wearing a white research coat; although he was over sixty years old, his spirit was still robust.

”Mr. Gass, what are you here for?” Professor Mai Zhenzhe seemed a bit surprised, but he had roughly guessed that he would come!

Gass walked with heavy steps, approaching him step by step, his tone very serious!

”Professor Mai Zhenzhe, can you guess why I came here?”

”If I hadn’t come, our International Nuclear Union would have lost a hall-of-fame-level expert in the field of nuclear research!”

Professor Mai Zhenzhe wanted to say something, but was ruthlessly interrupted by Gass, who continued:

”I heard that you are also going to return to your country?”

”I don’t know what your country is up to, but I don’t want you to just go back like this!”

”Our research cannot be interrupted just like this!”

Professor Mai Zhenzhe smiled calmly, ”Mr. Gass, first and foremost, I am a citizen of Dragon Country, and only secondly, a scientist!”

”My country needs me, and I must return!”

”As for our research, I have already completed the handover work. I believe that even without me, you will be able to continue your research just the same!”

Gass was stunned; from Professor Mai Zhenzhe’s words, he could hear his strong determination!

”Is our treatment poor?”

”I can apply for more research funding for you from the higher-ups!”

”Give you more freedom!”

Professor Mai Zhenzhe waved his hand, firmly refusing these offers!

”I am not a canary, nor a bird in a cage. These things you mentioned are not what I need!”

”I think I have made myself very clear. I really have to leave for a period of time; at least until my country has conquered the relevant research, I may not be able to return!”

Gass was shocked!

Before coming here, he had heard about Dragon Country’s plans; they wanted to conquer Nuclear Fusion!

This was originally a project of their International Nuclear Union, and Dragon Country was preparing to abandon the International Nuclear Union and go it alone!

He would not allow Professor Mai Zhenzhe to leave just like this!

In his view, it was impossible for Dragon Country to research Nuclear Fusion, which meant they might completely lose Professor Mai Zhenzhe!

And behind the International Nuclear Union was the support of Eagle Sauce, including Gass, who was also a person from Eagle Sauce!

If Professor Mai Zhenzhe returned, even if he couldn’t help Dragon Country achieve a breakthrough, it would speed up their research, which was not something they wanted to see!

His expression became increasingly serious.

”Professor Mai Zhenzhe, acting so willfully is not a good thing for you!”

”I think you must have heard about the fate of your teacher, Professor Qian; do you also want to be ’taken care of’?”

The so-called ”taking care of” was just a nicer way of saying house arrest!

Professor Mai Zhenzhe was fearless, ”If I were afraid of this or that, I wouldn’t have determined to return to my country!”

Seeing that neither threats nor inducements could stop Professor Mai Zhenzhe’s determination to leave, Gass was furious and decisively took out his mobile phone, dialing the number for Eagle Sauce!

He asked for their opinion right in front of Professor Mai Zhenzhe!

Professor Mai Zhenzhe frowned, realizing things might be taking a turn for the worse, but he continued to pack his things calmly!

It wasn’t that he was worried about his own safety; he just felt guilty about potentially causing some trouble for his country!

However, to his surprise, after the call went through, Gass’s expression became very strange!

He kept emphasizing Professor Mai Zhenzhe’s scientific achievements and his importance to the International Nuclear Union on the phone, but in the end, he didn’t seem to get the result he wanted!

He helplessly put away the phone!

”Strange, I’ve tried both soft and hard tactics, why is there no reaction from over there?”

”Although I don’t believe that people like Professor Mai Zhenzhe returning will be of much help to Dragon Country’s Nuclear Fusion research, it will still speed up their R&D!”

”How could they not be worried at all???”

In the end, neither threats nor inducements helped, and Gass was out of options!

He gazed deeply at Professor Mai Zhenzhe, then turned and left without looking back!

However, when he reached the doorway, he still stopped and said with his back to Professor Mai Zhenzhe:

”A project that even our International Nuclear Union cannot conquer, you are just wasting your efforts!”

”Mr. Mai, you will regret today’s decision!”

After saying this, he disappeared from Professor Mai Zhenzhe’s sight.

The latter smiled slightly, ”How could it be a waste of effort?”

”Every time we fail, we are one step closer to success!”

”As long as we want to do it, sooner or later, we will be able to accomplish it!”

”We people of Dragon Country are no worse than anyone else!”
