Chapter 112 Bruce’s Collapse!Bruce’s face looked ghastly!

It wasn’t a software issue; his own computer had been counter-hacked by the other side!

He didn’t even know when he had been hacked!

He had to keep in mind that his computer contained many anti-intrusion programs he had designed himself!

Yet, during the intrusion, these anti-intrusion programs were like dead—they didn’t react at all!

Bruce felt his scalp tingle!

He smoothed his hair, trying to figure out where the problem lay!

Seeing his state, everyone present was dumbfounded!

They’d already drunk the champagne, and now he was telling them the cracking hadn’t succeeded!

Not only had it failed, but he had actually been hacked by the other side!

Emmmmm...

The tables had turned!

This sudden change caught them all off guard!

Secretary of State Jack hurriedly asked, ”What if we try hacking again?”

Bruce thought about it; it seemed that was the only option.

Just as he was preparing to crack the mech’s operating system again, a staff member from the Laboratory rushed in!

”Dr. Bruce, it seems there’s a problem with our central control!”

Bruce frowned and immediately checked the status of the central control.

When the central control interface appeared before him, the next second, Bruce nearly went insane!

He saw that the guy—whoever it was—was currently wiping data from their database at a terrifying speed!

Once the wiping was complete!

All the data in the database would vanish!

This was decades of data accumulated by the entire Lockheed Skunk Works since its inception!

If the other side succeeded, he would want to smash his head against the ground and just die!

”Damn you!”

”It must be it, it must be the one behind this!”

Bruce looked at the mech in front of him!

Everyone didn’t know what was wrong with him and immediately asked what had happened.

After learning the situation, everyone present was instantly stunned!

Secretary of State Jack himself was also startled; Lockheed Skunk Works was an important armament manufacturing factory for the Eagle Nation!

If all this data were gone!

It would be a devastating blow to the Eagle Nation’s national defense!

”Cut the power, quick... quickly cut the power to stop them from continuing the intrusion!”

Bruce immediately ordered!

Staff members rushed to carry out the order!

Soon, as the power was cut.

The Laboratory was instantly plunged into darkness!

Just as Bruce breathed a sigh of relief, a sudden burst of light nearly blinded them!

The power was back on!!!!

”What’s going on? Didn’t we already cut the power?”

”How is there still electricity?”

Bruce looked at the central control; the wiping operation was still ongoing!

A core staff member of the factory said, ”I know, the factory has independent reserve power!”

”It can maintain the factory’s operations even if the main power is cut!”

”But only our factory president knows how to cut the reserve power!”

”But he’s on a business trip!”

”Call him! Call him quickly!”

”I tried, but I can’t get through!”

Now, everyone was completely dumbfounded!

This intruder was exceptionally intelligent, actually able to mobilize reserve power to maintain the electricity supply!

The key was that there was no way to completely cut off the power now!

Misfortunes never come singly; trouble followed immediately!

Another staff member rushed over!

”Dr. Bruce, our factory machines have started up for no reason!”

”And they’ve caught two of our staff members inside the machines!”

Bruce’s eyes widened: ”It can even control the machines?”

”How is this possible????”

He couldn’t help but believe it; at that moment, through the window of the Laboratory, they saw a fighter jet racing across the airfield!

And soon, the fighter jet took to the sky!

The key was that there wasn’t even a pilot inside that fighter jet!

Secretary of State Jack didn’t know what was happening and asked, ”Is this the new drone you’ve been researching?”

”It can fly without anyone in it!”

Bruce’s head was about to explode: ”It’s been controlled!”

”That’s not a drone at all! It’s been hijacked!”

Secretary of State Jack was stunned!

He was terrified!

The other side could even control fighter jets?

What if it suddenly crashed down?

Moreover, what they found strange was that the fighter jet seemed to only fly above the factory!

If it went a little too far, it would turn back!

Everyone now had a massive headache!

On one side was the intruder crazily wiping data, and on the other was a hijacked fighter jet at risk of losing control at any moment!

Bruce was trying to think of a solution!

At this moment, he also noticed the strange flight path of the fighter jet!

It was as if a prison had formed above the factory, preventing it from escaping!

Seeing this, he suddenly realized something!

He seemed to have thought of something!

”Wireless network!”

”This mech is using the wireless network to intrude and control us!”

He picked up a signal testing instrument from the Laboratory!

After some manipulation, the instrument’s reaction confirmed his hypothesis!

It was indeed using the wireless network to intrude on them!

After finding the cause!

He wanted to shut down the mech’s system, but found he couldn’t find the switch to shut it down at all!

”Doctor, the data in our database is about to be completely wiped!”

The staff member’s reminder made Bruce realize he had to take the most extreme measure!

He looked at the fire axe on the side, ran over to grab it, then swung the axe, aiming at the central control equipment, and brought it down with a chop!

Sparks flew everywhere, making a sizzling sound!

Seeing this, everyone thought Bruce had gone mad!

”Doctor, this is the central control equipment for the entire factory, and you just chopped it?” Secretary of State Jack was dumbfounded.

Bruce, holding the axe in one hand, turned to look at him: ”If I don’t chop it, the entire factory will be gone!”

Afterward, he shut down all the wireless equipment in the factory!

The hijacked fighter jet crashed immediately!

Fortunately, it landed in an open area of the factory, causing relatively little impact on the facility!

The controlled equipment finally settled down as well!

Bruce sat on the floor, powerless, gasping for air!

The Laboratory was in a state of total chaos!

After a long while, the results of the losses from this incident were tallied!

Nearly fifty years of research results from the Laboratory had been completely erased!

During the time the factory was controlled, the equipment had gone crazy, like a dancing horde of demons; some ran frantically, some self-destructed, and others even dismantled themselves!

The total loss amounted to tens of billions of dollars!

Of course, the most important thing was the data that had been erased!

Upon seeing these losses, Dr. Bruce was overcome with distress and nearly fainted on the spot!

This terrified everyone!

This was their Eagle Nation’s national treasure-level expert!

Nothing could happen to him!

Secretary of State Jack immediately said, ”We will bear the losses of the factory!”

”You must take care of your health!”

Bruce, hearing his words, wanted to curse:

”You’ll bear it? Do you know how great the factory’s losses are?”

”The data lost just today is enough to set our Eagle Nation’s relevant research progress back by ten years!”

As he spoke, he looked at that individual combat unit and roared:
