Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 94 The source of evolution is recordedChapter 94 The source of evolution is recorded
Absorbing the non-attributed energy contained in the hot spring juice, these black-ringed silkworms, whose growth progress was about to reach full value, quickly began to spin silk and weave cocoons. After a while, dozens of light gray cocoons were hung all over the logs. shelf.

Seeing this scene, Russell quickly turned on the thermostat installed in advance and carefully protected the growth of these cocoons.

The total amount of energy in the hot spring juice is much less than the advanced materials Ayou has taken before, and it has no attributes and is easy to absorb, so the black-ringed silkworms’ cocooning cycle is only about one day.

After Russell and Lu Yinning took turns guarding the night shift, rustling sounds were heard from the cocoons one after another, and with a burst of cracking sounds, new-born UFO hawkmoths emerged from the cocoons.

They swayed their wet wings and crawled slowly on the log frame, looking for a suitable place to dry themselves.

As the UFO moths continued to emerge from their cocoons, Russell was constantly checking their information.

After observing for a while, he was surprised to find that a silver-level UFO Hawkmoth actually appeared among the swarm!

”one two three four……”

With the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent activated, Russell observed attentively. Among the sixty-odd black-ringed hawkmoths, Russell found a total of five silver-level UFO hawkmoths.

Although their appearance looks much more ordinary than Ayou’s when they first evolved, their black wings are not so transparent, and the cold aura they exude is also very weak. It is obvious that they have just reached the silver level.

But even so, the advancement rate, which is close to one-tenth, is still a remarkable figure.

After all, Russell had seen very little information about the Silver-level UFO Hawkmoth, whether he searched online or in the database of the Senluo Beast Control Research Institute.

Moreover, other cases of cultivating silver-level UFO hornworms are obviously accidental, and their reference and sustainability are not comparable to the evolution of this batch of black-ringed hornworms.

”The group led by your pet beast has a group of pet beasts that have successfully advanced and gained twenty points of evolution.”

After all the black-ringed silkworms completely emerged from their cocoons, Ayou directly harvested a full twenty points of evolutionary sources, which also surprised Russell very much.

The successful transformation of this batch of black-ringed silkworms provided him with valuable experience for subsequent batch breeding of pet beasts.

Even if it is impossible to use the luxurious combination of sun tree fruits and hot spring flowers when all silkworm pets evolve, it is not difficult to regularly purchase a batch of mid-level cultivation materials with the current earning power of the insect house.

If that doesn’t work, you can just buy the all-purpose concentrated warm orange juice...

After recording the data of this batch of UFO Hawkmoths with Lu Yinning, Russell happily looked at the twenty fresh sources of evolution in the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent panel.

Although this kind of resource is precious, there is no need to hoard it, because before the pet beast fully comprehends a skill, the corresponding improvement in proficiency can also increase the speed of comprehension, so he immediately summoned Daodao Mantis.

It’s not that the recent outstanding performance of Daodao Mantis has caused Ayou to lose his status as his own son, but the priority of understanding the Mantis Fist and Unparalleled Fighting Intent skills is indeed higher than the two skills in Ayou’s ability development column. Out a lot.

The primary night field is the predecessor of the eternal night curtain, but for a long time, this skill only reduced the brightness and slightly interfered with vision. If you want to truly advance to the all-round abnormal effect of the eternal night curtain, even if there is ” The help of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent cannot be achieved in a short time.

The main effect of ethereal power is piercing. In low- and mid-level battles, there are not many pet beasts that can master powerful defensive skills. In addition, defensive skills can also be used to forcibly break through with fierce firepower. At this stage, they can withstand shadows. In Ayou’s form, there are not many pet beasts of the same level that can use Nether Explosion.

Therefore, Russell is not in a hurry to understand the progress of this skill.

After thinking about it for a while, Russell put all the sources of evolution into Da Dao Mantis, significantly improving its understanding of Mantis Fist.

If he could possess the two skills of Mantis Fist and Unparalleled Fighting Will, Dadao Mantis’s strength would not be much inferior to Ayou’s.

The strength of the main pet beasts is important, but it is also necessary to balance the resource investment between the various pet beasts. After all, even Senluo City’s quarterly newcomer group competition will have a doubles format. In some occasions with high combat intensity, a Just a pet beast is not enough.

Strictly speaking, two pet beasts are actually not enough...

Although it is unlikely that six pet beasts will compete on the same stage in a general competitive match, adjusting one’s own pet beast according to the characteristics of the opponent’s pet beast is also a compulsory course that professional beast masters must master.

If there are only two pet beasts, whether in a one-on-one battle or a doubles match, it is easy to face the situation of having no choice but to play with reverse attributes and characteristics.

In some modern animations and film and television works, inverse attribute battles are indeed standard battles that the protagonist often appears in. In various battles related to rewards and rankings in the world of beast control, it is better not to invert attributes if possible, or as far as possible. Well.

Looking at the two main battle pets, one long-range and one close-combat, Russell thought about the third pet in the contract.

Ayou and Daodao Mantis have both mastered many high-level skills. What they need to do now is to digest their existing abilities and improve their skill proficiency.

But even so, with the blessing of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, their growth rate will not be too slow, and they should be expected to advance to the fourth level within a year.

When Ayou and Daodao Mantis both advance to the fourth level, Russell’s mental power should be able to increase to the point where he can contract a third pet beast.

However, preparations for the third pet beast of the contract do not have to wait until that time.

According to the original plan, his third pet beast was to choose a protective pet beast.

The more common popular races that can take on the role of protection are all characterized by gentle personalities. Even without a contract, it is not difficult to cultivate loyalty.

Besides, the general rule for raising protective beasts is that it is best to start raising them from pet eggs.

Get along day and night and get to know each other, so that you can cultivate the tacit understanding between it and the beast master to the greatest extent, and provide the most effective protection in some critical situations where life and death are fast.

”Where should I get some high-quality pet eggs...”

After making up his mind, Russell thought about buying pet eggs.

The answer to this question is simple and simple. He owns a pet house, so he is naturally familiar with the general purchase channels.

However, the pet beast eggs purchased from these channels are somewhat mediocre. Even with the blessing of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, Russell does not want to raise every pet beast from the bronze and silver levels. That is tiring, slow and cost-effective. not tall.

Considering that the average blood level of insect beasts is not high, if you want to buy high-quality pet eggs, the auction after the hunting team returns is a very good channel.

Since hunting is highly uncertain, there will be pet beast cubs and eggs for sale that are of good quality and uncommon species from time to time. If you focus on the insect type, the prices will not be too outrageous.

The most important thing is that the organizer of the hunting auction is the Senluo City Beast Control Alliance!

As the saying goes, someone in the court is easy to do. Thinking of this, Russell quickly sent a message to Dr. Natsuki, asking him to help pay attention to the auction of protective insect pet beast cubs and eggs.

In return, he selected a silver-level UFO Hawk Moth and a perfectly trained stone cricket, and handed them over to Researcher Li Moran.
