Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 89 Special Rewards from the AdministrationChapter 89 Special Rewards from the Administration

After reading the introductory information on the background of the Fire Stealing Group, Russell smacked his tongue slightly.

I didn’t expect that the fight for animal protection in another world would be so fierce, and it would be so extreme...

Speaking of which, the idea of Stealing Fire Group is actually not difficult to understand.

The territory of the beast-controlling world is far larger than the current world. Among billions of people, some people regard their pet beasts as partners, while others regard their pet beasts as tools. This kind of disagreement is inevitable.

Especially those who have experienced the beast tide, after witnessing the wild beasts attacking humans unscrupulously and destroying towns, it is indeed difficult to treat the beasts as intimately as those who live in the hinterland of the city and have always enjoyed peace.

However, differences in concepts are differences in concepts. Russell was firmly opposed to the ridiculous approach of the Fire Thieves directly carrying out terrorist attacks to ”awaken the world.”

After all, no one can guarantee that they will not become victims of man-made disasters.

Take this operation to capture the Moon Demon Rabbit as an example. If General Mo Lin hadn’t been in charge, the member of the Fire Stealing Group took advantage of the chaos and turned off the energy suppression device, causing the Moon Demon Rabbit to go berserk. The Alliance will really suffer heavy casualties.

And once the high-level combat power of these cities is reduced, serious attacks may also occur in Senluo City, which is not far from the secret realm of ”Dream Weaver’s Nest”.

”These people are really crazy...”

After the background information about the Fire Thieves, there was also an investigation report on their recent activities, which also made Russell want to roll his eyes.

After careful inspection and testing at the Longquan City Alliance Headquarters, it was found that the three-tailed night-eye fox did indeed die at the hands of the Moon Demon Rabbit, and it was someone’s contracted pet when it died.

At the same time, the Beast Control Alliance also conducted a round of identity checks on all staff within Senluo City, and indeed found out several people who had faked their identities or were impersonators.

Among them, a garrison officer who had falsified information had resigned and retired a few years ago. The reason was that he suddenly became seriously ill and his health deteriorated and he was unable to continue his work.

At that time, the secret realm of ”Dreamweaver’s Nest” had just been discovered, so no one cared about it.

However, a careful comparison of his medical diagnosis data showed that the so-called serious illness was probably the backlash caused by the death of the pet beast.

Combining the timelines of the two events that are almost completely consistent, it can be basically concluded that this person is the beast control master of the three-tailed night-eyed fox, and is a spy placed by the Fire Stealing Group in the Beast Control Alliance of Senluo City.

The ability to force contracts, and even use methods such as transformation, brainwashing, and feeding special drugs to control some ferocious beasts that cannot be tamed in the conventional sense is also one of the distinctive characteristics of the members of the Fire Stealing Group.

The researcher who attacked Dr. Natsuki also joined the Senluo City Beast Control Research Institute around the same time as him.

Their overall power is completely incomparable to that of the Beast Control Alliance. The fact that they can invest so many people in a second-level city is probably for the secret realm of ”Dreamweaver’s Lair” from the beginning.

This group of people tried to get involved in the secret realm several years ago, and specially sent a high-level beast master to let their most powerful three-tailed night-eyed fox Ye explore the secret realm.

With the strength of the three-tailed night-eyed fox, it should not be a problem to deal with the pink velvet spider group in the cave, but they did not expect that there is another late eighth-level pet beast living near the secret realm. The three-tailed night-eyed fox is eager to be guarded by its companion. The Moon Demon Rabbit was seriously injured and died on the way before he could run back to the city to seek help from the beastmaster.

Due to the loss of one of their generals, the Fire Thieves remained dormant for a long time. Not long ago, the ”Dream Weaver Nest” began to shrink. Unable to wait, they took action again, hoping to lure another Moon Demon Rabbit to Senluo City. District, waiting for him to take action with the garrison in Senluo City, so that he can sneak into the secret realm again.

It’s a pity that although the Moon Demon Rabbit hates humans, the first priority in its mind is always its partner. After realizing that it was transferred away from the mountain, the Moon Demon Rabbit did not show any desire to fight and returned to the vicinity of the secret realm as quickly as possible, stealing Huo Tuan’s plan to kill two birds with one stone had to be abandoned.

This kind of thing also shows from the side that the Thieving Fire Group was aware of the existence of the secret realm earlier than the alliance officials.

It’s just that they couldn’t crack the secret realm with their own strength, so they revealed the news, hoping to rely on the power of the Beast Control Alliance to open the secret realm, and then suddenly take action like yesterday, sabotage the operation, and make the whole thing get out of control.

”The Fire Thieves are obviously just some defeated generals, so how come they are so much better at detecting secrets than the Alliance officials?”

Seeing this, although Russell had a basic understanding of the whole incident, Russell had a new doubt.

With the manpower and material resources of the Beast Control Alliance hundreds to thousands of times that of the Fire Stealing Group, how could the Stolen Fire Group lead the way in such a matter of key information detection? ”If it’s a general secret realm, naturally the alliance’s official blanket investigation can get information faster. What the Fire Stealing Group is good at is just looking for seals.”

In this regard, Dr. Natsuki handed Russell another piece of information about the Divine Court of Hope.

According to the data, the origins of these seals scattered around the world point to the former Hope Palace.

Since some ferocious beasts are very difficult to kill completely, or are regarded as precious resources, I hope that the Divine Court will sometimes deal with subdued ferocious beasts by sealing them.

For example, the Moon Demon Rabbit, who can condense black dew over a large area, was sealed in the black dew forest. The attributeless dew turned into moonlight energy has indeed nourished the forest for many years.

Unfortunately, that part of the ancient technology fell into the hands of the escaped Fire Thieves when the Holy Court of Hope split. Therefore, the Fire Thieves had more initiative than the Beast Control Alliance in finding and utilizing seals and relics.

In addition to cleaning up scattered ferocious beasts, the main task of the Fierce Beast Management Bureau is actually to battle wits and courage with the fire thieves to prevent them from triggering a beast tide or destroying the seals of these ferocious beasts.

”Although the existence of the Fire Stealing Group is not an absolute secret, the alliance generally does not disclose information about the Fire Thieving Group to ordinary people to avoid causing panic. I hope you can keep it a secret as well.”

When Russell finished checking all the information, Dr. Xia Mu adjusted his glasses with a serious expression and solemnly explained.

In fact, without him having to say more, Russell also understood the importance of this information. If the ordinary people knew what the Fire Thieves were doing, they would not be able to provide much help. On the contrary, it would cause riots and give the Fire Thieves more opportunities to take advantage of. opportunity.

”Sign your name, it’s a reward from the Ferocious Beast Management Bureau.”

After saying that, Dr. Xiamu took out a thin contract and motioned for Russell to sign it.

The content of the contract is very simple. It states that the advance payment made by Russell to Senluo Clothing Company will be repaid by the official of Senluo City Beast Control Alliance on his behalf.

Just the work of persuading the Pink Velvet Spiders to leave was definitely not worth so much money. Russell understood that this was another fund that had the nature of attracting and sealing off people. After thinking about it for a while, he readily signed his name on the contract. .

”I received a message from the hunting team this morning. The scabbard cricket you mentioned before has been found. Someone will deliver it to your pet shop tomorrow. I hope we can have a happy cooperation in the future.”

Seeing that Russell was getting better and better, Dr. Xiamu also showed a happy smile.

He is strong, yet does not forget his roots. He is willing to cooperate in depth with our local beast control alliance in Senluo City. He is indeed a native-born and raised young man!
Russell was also in a good mood for being able to get so many rewards at once. Although the Evil Beast Management Bureau only helped him pay off the advance payment and no money went into his account, but with the current sales of the Imperial Insect House, almost He can still raise tens of millions of funds very quickly.

It is easier to do things if you have money. This is a truth that does not change in any world!

”By the way, I heard before that you are planning to become a professional beast master, so you should be planning to challenge various gyms next, right?”

After putting away the attachments to the contract and about to get up and leave, Dr. Xia Mu seemed to remember something, and suddenly turned around and asked.

”Yes, I plan to challenge the nearby Greenleaf Gym in Senluo City first.”

Russell answered truthfully to this somewhat sudden question.

His career plan is to challenge various competitions and then set up a gym of his own. There is nothing to hide.

Gym leaders are also nominally members of the Beast Controlling Alliance, but their actual job is only to accept challenges and then regularly feedback challenge data. Although their authority is a bit smaller, they do not need to obey the orders like high-level beast control masters who work for the official alliance. , life is much freer.

Hearing this answer, Dr. Xia Mu nodded and then suggested:
”With your strength, it should be easy to get eight badges and sign up for the Alliance Competition. However, this schedule is mainly for the public. Maybe you can consider challenging the Beast Taming Hall after clearing the gym.”

It was another term that he had never heard of before. In this huge world of beast control, Russell felt that he was still a novice.
