Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 91 Busy Man RussellChapter 91 Busy Man Russell

After this fruitful trip to the institute, Russell soon began a compact and busy life of cultivation and breeding.

What happened in the Black Dew Forest was handled by the alliance officials. He only had a little right to know and did not need to personally participate in tracking down the Fire Stealing Group.

Some time ago, Yuchongwu accumulated a lot of pending business. Although Lu Yinning had sorted out the basic processes and matters very clearly, Russell had to make the final decision on these matters.

I bargained for a while with the cricket-fighting enthusiasts who came to see the goods, regularly checked the growth progress of the pet animals in the breeding farm, supervised the renovation workers in building the mental health center, and appeased the pink velvet spiders who were restless due to the change of environment. The black-ringed silkworms of Cocoon prepare high-quality and low-priced advanced materials...

When I get busy with one thing, half a day passes without me realizing it.

At 12:30 noon, in the living room of the staff dormitory on the second floor of Yuchong House, Russell and Liang Kun were sitting at the table with strange expressions on their faces, watching Lu Yinning keep bringing out stacks of food from the kitchen that didn’t look good in appearance or smell. Dishes.

”You’re welcome, try my handiwork!”

After placing almost all cold dishes and boiled dishes with only a little bit of salt on the table, Lu Yinning greeted them warmly.

Recently, she has reached a new level again. While studying training courses and financial courses, she has also acquired knowledge as a nutritionist.

The most terrible thing is that the course Lu Yinning signed up for included two sections: pet animal and human nutrition. After learning a few chapters of theoretical knowledge, Russell and Liang Kun became her first batch of test subjects.

These dishes are health-preserving and nutritious meals tailored by Lu Yinning for two sub-healthy people who ”do not like to exercise, play with mobile phones for a long time, and have a heavy taste in oil and salt.”

”You should go and rest quickly. You have been busy all morning. Don’t be too tired...”

Holding a large plate of bland boiled meat and vegetables, Russell forced out a bitter smile and tried to persuade the scroll king to calm down.

”Okay, then remember to tell me your dining experience in the afternoon. I will make statistics for a month and then complete the course paper.”

Lu Yinning was indeed a little tired. After repeatedly admonishing the two experimental subjects who were not very cooperative, she got up and returned to the bedroom.

The moment he heard Lu Yinning’s door closing, Russell quickly turned on his phone and ordered a takeout for himself and Liang Kun using ”Big Stomach Beast” takeout.

I have to say that the nutritional mix is very balanced, and the extremely green and healthy food... is really unpalatable!

Especially the tartary buckwheat salad with walking vine roots that Lu Yinning tasted, it tasted like eating grass, which made Russell feel like he was returning to his ancestors and returning to primitive society...

According to this way of eating, your physical indicators may be healthier, but your psychology may also become depressed first.

The delivery speed of the mechanical beast delivery was very fast. Within a quarter of an hour after placing the order, three steaming boxes of home-cooked stir-fry appeared on the originally green dining table.

Stir-fried pork with chili, Mapo tofu, hot and sour shredded potatoes, very classic and appetizing dishes.

As for the nutritious meals made by Lu Yinning, the main reason was that the taste was too bland, and the cooking temperature of the ingredients was not a big problem. With a shameful attitude of waste, the two of them mixed the boiled vegetables with these home-style stir-fried soups and barely ate them all. .

After eating and drinking, Liang Kun told Russell about the recent forest land cultivation.

Recently, the tree species produced by his ”unstable seeds” talent are mediocre and have little cultivation value, which makes Liang Kun feel a little embarrassed to receive a salary that is nearly double the market price.

In this regard, Russell told him to relax. The work of cultivating tree species was only incidental. As long as he could manage the forest land under the name of Yuchongwu well, he would fully deserve the salary.

While chatting, the two naturally talked about the management of Baixi Orchard.

The orchard is located in a relatively remote location. It is difficult and risky to tame pet animals there. It is not easy to manage and will also increase a lot of protection and transportation costs. Therefore, Russell plans to completely transform the orchard into a plantation for growing food and cultivation materials. .

The woodland close to Fenglin Road can be transformed to a certain extent and then used to raise some pet animals that have the habit of returning to their nests.

For example, when the young queen bee grows up, the bees it controls can live in the forest, as well as social social pets such as ants and flower spirits. Generally, there will be no escape unless there are special circumstances. These areas are now managed by Liang Kun. Daily maintenance work can be outsourced, or one or two more full-time gardeners can be hired. Russell has authorized Liang Kun to handle these chores with full authority.

For this kind of professional counterpart’s job, Liang Kun fully agreed and even made a simple plan for Russell on the spot.

If you are just producing and selling for yourself and want to cultivate some high-quality feed, rather than starting a fruit business, you do not need to increase the density of fruit trees in the orchard, as long as you slowly improve the varieties.

According to Liang Kun’s estimation, by purchasing a batch of production-oriented pets such as Xiaoyuyun and pollinating flower essence, and adding two gardeners who are good at daily cultivation and maintenance of plants, Baixi Orchard can start to operate prosperously again.

As for Lu Yinning, Russell also planned to ask her opinion on whether it was necessary to recruit some more interns responsible for daily chores so that Lu Yinning could devote himself to management work.

After chatting for a while, the sun rose to noon, and the two of them returned to their bedrooms.

Commuting to and from get off work on time and taking a two-hour lunch break, the workers at Yuchongwu mainly focus on anti-involution.

…………

After his lunch break, a sleepy-eyed Russell was scrolling through the videos released by the Greenleaf Gym on his mobile phone. The sound of the doorbell woke him up from the bed.

On this busy day, the scabbard crickets Dr. Natsuki mentioned were also delivered on time.

Since the scabbard cricket is not of a high level and is difficult to find, the hunting team entrusted by Dr. Natsuki is also of a low level. The middle-aged man as the captain is only a late fourth-level professional beast master.

He probably heard about Russell’s deeds from the research institute and the garrison, so his attitude was quite respectful.

”Mr. Russell, these are a pair of scabbard crickets. They are in very good condition. However, Dr. Natsuki is urging us to deliver them to you as soon as we return. We are short of time and haven’t had time to tame them yet. You may need to watch them more closely.” .”

Handing the sealed box in his hand to Russell, the middle-aged hunting captain added a special sentence.

Adult scabbard crickets do have the habit of living in pairs. Because they are evolved silver-level pets, their lifespan has been greatly improved compared to stone crickets. If they are fed well, it is not a problem to live for more than ten years.

However, the biggest difference between the scabbard cricket and the stone cricket is that its hind legs are covered with hard bone spurs, and its forelimbs are short and powerful, and its digging ability is particularly good.

If you don’t take good care of it, even a thin layer of cement can sometimes be dug through by scabbard crickets and escape.

”Got it, thank you.”

Taking over the slightly shaking sealed box, Russell smiled and said thanks.

The hunting captain’s reminder was entirely out of good intentions, but after all, he was also a person with the talent of ”Cocoon of Evolution”, so he still needed to be imprisoned and coerced to deal with an insect beast?nonexistent……

After seeing off the hunting captain, he came to the tiled house built for the stone crickets at the breeding farm and slowly opened the sealed box.

”You’re tired, come out and play for a while.”

Following two low chirping sounds, two large crickets that were roughly similar to stone crickets, but with a bronze-colored carapace and a body that looked like a scabbard, jumped out of the sealed box.

Because of the insect affinity effect brought by the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, the two scabbard crickets who suddenly arrived in a strange environment were very alert, but they did not run around for a while.

When Russell put energy threads on them and drained away the messy energy in their bodies, the two scabbard crickets looked at him with expressions of admiration.

”Help me train these stone crickets. They will be provided with food and accommodation, a single-family villa, and they can become stronger. How about that?”

After a simple and friendly exchange, there were two new lord-level members in the Chongwu House.
