Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 56: Common people cultivate young expertsChapter 56: Common people cultivate young experts

Lu Yinning was very efficient, and the next morning, several applicants she introduced came to Yu Chongwu.

It has to be said that Lu Yinning’s social circle is indeed full of good students, and every applicant has a beautiful resume. Basically everyone has won some scholarships and school-level awards.

It’s a pity that most of them are not locals of Senluo City. They plan to return to their hometowns to find jobs after graduation, so they all made it clear that they are not willing to sign long-term contracts and only come to get internships for credits.

In this regard, Russell could only regretfully decline.

After all, Omushiya is no longer the small shop with a single storefront at the beginning. If employees who cultivate a forest land only work for a few months and then leave, there will be a lot of trouble later.

”This is the last one, I hope I can gain something... Next one, come in!”

Unknowingly, the time came to noon, and Russell sighed helplessly when he looked at the list of applicants with only one person left.

Being a boss is really troublesome... If you meet an employee who has good abilities and is willing to settle down, just raise the salary severely to keep them here!

”Hello, my name is Liang Kun.”

The person who came was a young man who looked to be in his twenties. He must have graduated for some time.

His eyes were slightly tired, and he had a standard smile on his face, revealing a temperament that had been severely beaten by society.

As a former migrant worker, Russell can relate to this situation.

But Russell also understands that for a tired job seeker, if he can find a job with good pay and a non-depressing environment, his stability will definitely be high.

”This is my resume.”

Sitting down at the counter of Yuchongwu, Liang Kun immediately took the initiative to show his identity code.

In order to strictly prevent information fraud, everyone’s resume is bound to the identity information. By scanning the QR code, both honors and black spots can be seen at a glance.

Liang Kun’s resume shows that he graduated from the Plant Breeding Department of Senluo City Royal Beast College and received a scholarship. Although he is not an academic master, he should have no problem with basic business knowledge.

Continuing to scroll down the electronic resume, Russell suddenly discovered that Liang Kun’s career experience was written as ”Operation Civilian Training Encyclopedia Column.”

”Are you the little civilian nurturing expert who often sends out guides?”

He was a little surprised to see this familiar channel name, but more of a surprise.

Common people cultivate little experts, and he is the most popular online blogger in the early days of Russell’s time travel and the period of extreme poverty.

The guide he wrote mainly focused on practical information. Whether it was getting the Dark Light Grass for free or working part-time at the Black Dew Forest Proving Ground, he gave Russell a lot of help.

Moreover, these guides clearly stated the key points and side effects in advance, and did not play some tricks for the sake of traffic. This made Russell’s impression of him immediately increase to the full value.

”Um... I wrote some articles in my spare time to make you laugh.”

Lu Yinning probably oversold Russell’s character. Liang Kun seemed not to have expected that the rumored ”young and promising young genius who cultivates little geniuses and will be the future insect-type business boss” would read the civilian cultivation strategy.

After being slightly surprised, he nodded slowly.

Seeing that Liang Kun was really an expert in cultivating young people among civilians, Russell became even more determined to keep him.

”I see that your channel is doing very well. Why do you suddenly want to find a job with a two-point and one-line job? Can you adapt to it?”

It’s just that such an accomplished nurturing blogger suddenly came to Yuchongwu to apply for a job, but Russell was a little unsure of his intentions.

Hearing this question, Liang Kun shook his head helplessly:

”Nowadays, self-media is too complex and difficult to do. In addition, the theme of my channel is mainly economical and affordable, and there are basically no paying users...”

This is true. I read the Civilian Cultivation Encyclopedia every day. How can I still have money to spend on rewards...

Just relying on reading and playing volume to receive some platform subsidies is really just enough to make ends meet.

However, the Insect House needs such talents!
Russell now has some savings, and Yuchongwu also has a supply agreement with Senluo Clothing Company. The days of worrying about rent, water and electricity are gone forever.

However, this does not mean that Liang Kun’s theory of saving money and cultivating civilians has no value to him.The insect-type pet beasts and materials business follow the route of huge volume, small profits but quick turnover. Every time you save a little bit of breeding and cultivation costs, you will end up with a profit increase of tens of thousands.

Those large silk-making factories can extract 0.01 credit points in cost!

Furthermore, being able to find the unique value of many cultivation materials that are not favored by others, and accurately judge the advantages and disadvantages, and make suggestions proves that Liang Kun is not only very professional, but also willing to study.

Being able to operate a semi-profit channel for a long time proves that he has a very good character and is not a profit-seeking person who will do anything for money.

Thinking of this, Russell couldn’t wait to slap the contract on the table for him to sign.

But if you think so, you still have to go through the necessary procedures. It would be bad if you act too eager for talents and make people think that Omushiya is an irregular enterprise...

However, just when he was about to read Liang Kun’s resume, Russell frowned, then pointed to a place marked in red and asked:

”What’s going on with your resume that you haven’t completed graduate studies...?”

According to his resume, there is no problem with Liang Kun’s undergraduate degree. In fact, Russell did not have many requirements for diplomas when recruiting people. As long as he is a regular graduate of the Beast Control Academy, he does not have to be a graduate student.

But not going to graduate school and not finishing graduate school are two completely different things...

If you give up while studying for graduate school, you will either encounter a major change, or you will do something disgraceful and be expelled from the school.

If Liang Kun was expelled from Senluo Beast Control Academy, then Russell might not dare to keep him easily.

Hearing this question, Liang Kun looked bitter, but he still told his problem truthfully.

”My talent for controlling beasts is a bit unstable, which has caused losses to my former classmates and mentors. I also failed in my research project, so I failed to graduate. I heard from Xuemei Lu that you don’t require qualifications here, so I came to give it a try...”

Speaking of his talent for controlling beasts, Liang Kun let out a long sigh.

His beast-control talent is called ”Unstable Seed”. Its effect is that it can use the plant energy of the pet beast to ripen plants to a small extent, and has a probability of breeding mutated seeds.

This effect sounds very good, even a bit like the ”Cocoon of Evolution”, but in actual use, it is completely incomparable to the ”Cocoon of Evolution”.

Because this ”instability” is really too stable!

At first, Senluo College also hoped that Liang Kun could cultivate some new high-value plants, so it allocated a lot of resources to him, and also asked him to set up a research group with a graduate student and lead several classmates to cultivate tree species.

It’s a pity that after more than two years, the quality of all the plants Liang Kun cultivated is very ”stable”. Without exception, they contain a large amount of complex energy. Ordinary pets will only have side effects if they eat it. Industrial purification is also very difficult, and it is not possible at all. It has the value of promotion and popularization.

It would be fine if it just failed, but just before graduation, Liang Kun unexpectedly bred a batch of tree species with dragon attributes.

According to the existing records of the Beast Control Alliance, plants with dragon attributes can be counted with both hands, and without exception, they are all extremely rare high-end cultivation materials. This result made him overjoyed, and even a little bit crazy.

Liang Kun, who was eager to prove himself, hurriedly planted the tree seeds into the experimental field before fully verifying each attribute.

As a result, those overbearing dragon-type tree species directly sucked up the nutrients in the entire experimental field, causing many other people’s cultivation results to wither.

I don’t know if there is a problem with the seeds themselves, or if the total amount of energy in the experimental field is not enough. Even if they predatoryly robbed all the surrounding nutrients, those tree species failed to grow young seedlings in the end.

As the decision-maker of this erroneous experiment, Liang Kun was unsurprisingly severely punished and was suspended from the grade. If the instructor who cared about students had not taken a considerable part of the blame on himself, several classmates in the same group with him would have been Can’t graduate.

Out of guilt and complete disappointment in his talent for controlling beasts, Liang Kun simply dropped out of school and started a self-media business.

After saying that, Liang Kun seemed to be relieved, but at the same time he didn’t have much hope in getting the job at the Chongwu House.

Although the school ultimately did not include his experimental mistakes as a stain on his resume, the sudden interruption of his studies would inevitably attract the attention of others.

As a serious undergraduate graduate of Senluo Beast Control Academy, Liang Kun has been having difficulty finding a job for several years, and it is also because of this reason.

Unexpectedly, after hearing his disgraceful past, Russell looked as happy as if he had found a treasure and directly pushed the employment contract in front of him.

”Mr. Liang, how about we sign a three-year contract first? There will be no probation period, full salary, food and accommodation included. If there are no problems, you can come to work tomorrow!”
