Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 90: Beast Control Hall and Green Leaf GymChapter 90: Beast Control Hall and Green Leaf Gym

After searching in the data room of the Senluo Beast Control Research Institute for a while, Russell understood the concept of the Beast Control Palace.

The information related to the Beast Control Hall is not actually classified information, but the threshold is a bit high and ordinary people generally have no access to it, so they don’t pay too much attention to it.

To put it simply, the Beast Taming Hall is a difficult version of the Gym, and it is also a green channel for participating in large-scale events.

When he participated in the Senluo City Newcomer Group Competition, Russell felt that the entire event process was very troublesome, and it would last for a month or two. He, a pet shop owner, was a little upset, not to mention other frequent needs. A professional beast master who goes out to explore and hunt.

If you add in the process of traveling to eight cities to challenge gyms, the entire event cycle will undoubtedly become more grueling.

After all, the world of beast control is not a Pokémon game. If you find a Pokémon center and say that you are a trainer, you can eat and drink for free. It is not possible to travel between cities on foot.

The cost of training in this world is very high, and professional beast masters cannot make a living just by fighting battles and gaining rankings. Everyone needs to go to work and go to school.

The Beast Control Hall is a more humane challenge mode for young beast masters with outstanding talents.

If you choose to challenge an ordinary gym, you can participate in the annual principality competitive competition by collecting three badges. After obtaining eight badges, you can register to participate in the inter-principal alliance competition, but you have to work your way up from the audition.

If you choose to challenge the Beast Taming Hall, you only need one badge to qualify for any league event. After you have four hall-level badges, you can skip the audition and enter the group stage as a seed player. .

Of course, the difficulty of the Beast Control Palace is completely matched by the convenience of its green light through train.

Even if there is a threshold that requires you to clear any gym in the principality before you can challenge, the overall challenge pass rate of the Beast Control Hall is still less than %.

You know, being able to pass any gymnasium at least proves that a beast master has basic professional qualities.

For the challenge group with one or two badges per capita, the reason why there are such low clearance data is partly because of the permanent domain skills in the hall, and partly because of the configuration of the pet beasts in the hall.

For example, the Southern Principality’s Beast Control Hall in Longquan City is connected to the root system of a sun tree, which can provide a steady stream of energy attacks to plant-based beasts and greatly increase their skill attack range.

What’s even more troublesome is that this bonus can only be enjoyed by the beasts playing in the palace. Even if the challenger brings a plant-type beast, he cannot share the energy supply of the Sun Tree.

In addition, although the Beast Control Hall will not directly use high-level beasts to crush challengers, the officially selected pet races have been carefully selected and sometimes come up with some outrageous combinations.

On this basis, the Hall Challenge also increased the number of pet beasts in a very unethical manner. Challengers can only send up to three pet beasts, but they often need to fight more than five pet beasts in the hall.

It can be said that, in addition to maintaining the competitive tradition of not being allowed to attack the beast master himself, the difficulty of the Beast Master Challenge has become closer to that of actual combat in the wild. Moreover, wild beasts occupy the right time and place, and their combat level reaches professional level. kind of.

Precisely because of this level of difficulty, which is much higher than that of ordinary Taoist temples, no one has ever raised any objection to players with hall-level badges jumping in line to advance.

”It seems quite interesting. I hope I can go to the beast control palace in Longquan City next year to see the world.”

After reading the introduction about the Beast Taming Hall, Russell felt like he was on fire.

A maximum of three pet beasts can be sent out, and Russell now has a total of two pet beasts. Although the Beast Control Hall only sets an upper limit for challengers to fight pet beasts, and does not set a lower limit, but thinking about two versus five is too much of a disadvantage. What’s more, he doesn’t have any gym badges, so he is not qualified to challenge the Beast Control Hall.

”Find some time and go to the gym in Senluo City to try the water first.”

Russell thought excitedly on his way home after leaving the Senluo City Beast Control Research Institute.

This gym in Senluo City, like the Beast Taming Hall in Longquan City, focuses on plant-based beasts, so it should have some reference significance in terms of combat style.

To be precise, more than half of the gyms in the entire Southern Principality are plant-type gyms.

After all, it is not enough for the gym owner to be strong to establish a gym. When business is booming, a gym may receive more than ten waves of challengers every day, and the number of badges held by the challengers may not be equal. Maintaining a stable and matching playing level is not an easy thing.

The Southern Principality is a typical inland forest country. More than % of the country is close to woodlands such as the Black Dew Forest. The resources of plant-type pet beasts are the most abundant. Therefore, the number and level of plant-type gyms are also the highest among the four major principalities. of.

Speaking of which, forest areas not only have a lot of plant resources, but also a lot of insect resources. Thinking about it this way, establishing an insect gym in Senluo City also has innate geographical advantages.

But that’s a story later. The minimum threshold for establishing a gym must be a legendary level beast master, and it must not only be able to fight, but must have excellent overall quality, and personal assets must be enough to pay for the early construction costs of the gym. Just fine.

What Russell has to do now is to continue to improve the strength of Ayou and Daodao Mantis, and first clear the existing gyms in Senluo City.

Information about this ordinary gym can be found everywhere on the Internet. After taking out his mobile phone to check, Russell not only saw a basic introduction to the Green Leaf Gym in Senluo City, but also dozens of challenge videos that were released to the public.

After opening these videos and watching them for about ten minutes, he roughly understood the challenge style of Greenleaf Gym.

On the basis of the plant system, the pet beasts in the Green Leaf Gym basically use leaves as their main fighting method. In several challenge videos, Russell saw a forest tree demon with extremely dense leaves.

This pure plant-type silver-level pet beast originally had mediocre abilities in all aspects. It moved slowly. Although its attack methods were both long and short, its power was not satisfactory. Its control skill only had one move to wrap around. Facing a slightly stronger one, It will be difficult for the enemy to exert good control effects.

Usually, such mediocre, even mediocre, pet beasts that eat less and have great strength appear in auxiliary production, transportation and other occasions, rather than in gyms that focus on competitive battles.

However, the forest tree demon in the Green Leaf Gym seems to have undergone specialized training on leaves. It rarely uses vines or energy-based attack skills. It almost only uses the Flying Leaf Storm skill in the whole process, and it can actually kill many gold and even platinum-level attacks. The challenge beast of the bloodline suppressed it.

In addition, another gold-level plant-type pet beast domesticated in the Green Leaf Gym is the Lotte Sunflower, which is an energy-based long-range attack type. Its leaves and petals are also much wider than ordinary ones.

Although Lotte Sunflower does not attack directly with its leaves, its wide leaves allow it to accumulate solar energy in a significantly shorter time than its siblings. Under the bombardment of solar cannons, even pet beasts that are resistant to plant-based energy cannot last long. .

”Sure enough, fighting is much more interesting than doing business. It makes me feel itchy, but the pink velvet spider group still needs to be properly settled, and the black-ringed silkworm is about to pupate... Hey, it is better to open a gym than to be a lone man. High-level beast masters are very tired.”

Along the way, he was checking information and watching battle videos. Russell was a little itchy about challenging the gym, but thinking that there were still a lot of things to be done in the Imperial Insect House, he could only push back the challenge schedule. Pressure.

Anyway, the gym only has one opportunity to challenge once a month, so it’s not a waste of opportunity to go and test the water before the end of the month.
