after captain frogman’s team finished listening, they were momentarily stunned.

the performance of this device seemed somewhat fantastical, making it hard for him to believe at first.

but since tang rui had said so, he didn’t say anything.

anyway, they were about to dive into an area where the sea depth didn’t exceed 30 meters, so whether the equipment was that powerful wasn’t very important.

next, he and tang rui briefly explained the precautions for diving.

no hasty descents, no hasty ascents, and so on.

after the briefing, everyone donned their equipment and began to dive.

the frogman team was well-prepared.

not only had they brought their own gear but also underwater special equipment.

splash…

splash…

subsequently, tang rui and li shuyao sat at the side of the boat and then leaned backward, falling into the water.

after adjusting their postures, tang rui told li shuyao to activate the device’s micropropulsion system.

this micropropulsion system was roughly equivalent to a person’s walking speed and was quite slow underwater.

with the equipment on their backs, small water jets shot out.

the two of them began to move in the water.

although the speed was very slow, they could easily adjust their posture and direction with their arms and legs, avoiding any clumsiness.

the members of the frogman team, about a dozen meters away from tang rui, formed a protective circle.

the underwater environment wasn’t that hazardous.

there were sharks here, but for the frogman team, sharks were just dinner.

after all, they were diving with equipment.

before long, tang rui and his group had descended to a depth of about ten meters, and the light here had dimmed slightly, although not very noticeably.

optical system activated.

shush!

the view in front of the two of them once again became dazzling, unaffected by the seawater.

“there’s a school of fish ahead, go catch some,” li shuyao exclaimed excitedly when she saw the school of fish in front of them.

“you can’t catch them. catching fish under the sea is impossible,” tang rui shook his head.

what was she thinking, coming down here to catch some fish?

“go quickly, in case you catch one,” li shuyao continued to urge.

“how about 1 go get a depth charge and stun them all, then you can catch them?”

n

ii

li shuyao couldn’t be bothered with him and swam towards the school of fish on her own.

tang rui followed her, constantly changing his posture to match hers.

one advantage of being in the sea was that they could easily adjust their body position.

they explored for a while and descended until everyone was almost on the seabed.

next to them was a coral, although not particularly beautiful.

“take a look, what’s that?” tang rui spotted something interesting and called li shuyao over.

ii

it’s just sand,” li shuyao replied after looking at it, not finding anything.

“don’t blink in a moment.”

after saying that, tang rui came to the place where the sand was and tapped on it.

whoosh!

a flat fish jumped out from under the sand.

“there really are fish here, what kind is this?” li shuyao was also surprised.

“i don’t know what it’s called, but i’ve seen it on animal planet before. it likes to bury itself in the sand on the seabed and wait for food to pass by,” tang rui said. he didn’t know what the fish was called, but he had seen it on tv before.

just as he was about to get up and leave, he suddenly saw something on the seabed.

“is this a copper coin?”

tang rui scooped up a copper coin from the sand.

the inscription on it was already unreadable, but it was definitely an ancient copper coin.

“red lotus, use the rescue robot to search the vicinity.”

“okay, master, red lotus is on its way.”

the rescue robot quickly arrived and began searching the seabed in the vicinity.

and believe it or not, in less than ten minutes, the rescue robot found five more copper coins.

“red lotus, bring the repair robot back and let them search together.”

ii

it’s on its way back, it’ll be here in five minutes.”

seeing tang rui constantly digging something on the seabed, li shuyao, curious, swam over.

“what are you looking for?”

“a shipwreck.”

“is there a sunken ship here?”

“yeah, it’s very likely. these are the copper coins i found just now.”

tang rui took out several copper coins from his hand.

li shuyao, after seeing the copper coins, got excited and started helping to search.

the treasure of a sunken ship was not that important.

the important thing was the thrill of treasure hunting, the anticipation that would burst out of the seams.

seeing this situation, the frogman team also swam over.

since they couldn’t communicate directly with tang rui, they didn’t know what was going on.

tang rui took out the copper coins again and gestured to them.

the frogman team leader understood what he meant.

it turned out they were looking for antiques.

instantly, the frogman team began the search with tang rui and his group.

“master, the repair robot found a shipwreck on the seabed five kilometers away.”

shoosh!

on the screen in front of tang rui, the view from the repair robot’s perspective was displayed.

indeed, it was a shipwreck.

however, this wreck had been completely submerged by the seabed’s mud and sand.

tang rui and a group of frogmen exchanged a few gestures and then activated the propulsion device to rush to the location of the sunken ship.

the propulsion thrusters on their backs went all out.

whoosh!

tang rui shot towards the shipwreck like a torpedo.

the incredible speed left the frogmen around him stunned.

what kind of speed was this?

on li shuyao’s end, after receiving tang rui’s message, she also rushed out.

only a group of digging soldiers remained behind, struggling to keep up.

their underwater propulsion systems were far inferior to tang rui’s.

when they finally arrived at the site, tang rui had already started directing the repair robot to dig through the mud and sand on the seabed.

however, there was too much mud and sand on the seabed.

the ship’s carcass had been completely buried.

thus, the repair robot could only bore a hole into the wreck and enter the ship to see the situation.

if the value of its contents were significant, they would call a dredging ship later.

if there was nothing worthwhile, then so be it.

a little over ten minutes later, the repair robot had dug a hole… no, it had dug a hole and entered the ship.

and that was when the lights came on.

the interior of the sunken ship appeared before tang rui.

many large crates, and quite a few skeletons.

to be honest, the whole thing looked quite eerie.

tang rui had red lotus pixelate all the skeletons and put chicken emoji stickers on their skulls.

this way, the atmosphere became more comical and less terrifying.

the repair robot opened a large crate in the cargo hold.

the moment the crate was opened, decayed items turned into sludge and dispersed into the water.

the seawater in the hold became muddy.

the repair robot quickly moved to a different location and opened another large crate.

this time, nothing spilled out when the crate was opened.

with the lights on, two large porcelain jars appeared before tang rui.

good stuff.

porcelain wouldn’t corrode in seawater, as long as it wasn’t damaged. after being retrieved and properly treated, it would still retain its original splendour.

he looked at the other large crates in the sunken ship.

if they contained porcelain, their value was immeasurable.

the discovery of these two porcelain jars automatically meant that the shipwreck had become valuable enough for salvage.

the repair robot set down the crates and brought one of the porcelain jars up from below.

when the repair robot came up, tang rui took the porcelain jar and examined it carefully.

hmm…

there didn’t seem to be anything particularly remarkable about it.

to be honest, it seemed to him that these porcelain jars were not as good as modern ones.

tang rui made a few gestures and then slowly floated up to the surface with a group of people, returning to the yacht.

once back on the yacht, he made a call.

the higher-ups were not particularly surprised to hear that tang rui had found a sunken ship while on vacation.

after all, they didn’t consider a sunken shipwreck to be that valuable.

of course, no matter how it went, finding one was still a plus..
