“boss, are we really going to develop this?” feng yuanxing asked again.

“that’s right, it’s decided then. your first task is aerodynamics.

“do you remember the vertical take-off and landing system of the j-18? our white emperor should have this function too.”

after tang rui finished assigning missions, he did not bother about them anymore.

he could think whatever he wanted.

as long as he worked earnestly, it would be fine.

back in the office, tang rui leaned back in the boss’s chair and looked at the screen of the smart glasses. the model of the white emperor sky fighter was displayed, and he fell into deep thought.

the development of the white emperor was not a whim of his.

he had hatched this idea when he traded with russia for the su-47 golden eagle.

later on, shen huoyi even came to assist.

he gave him a swept-wing demonstrator and a full set of research and development materials.

if he said that he only wanted to develop the forward-swept wing fighter jet, he would be able to complete it in two months.

but what was the use?

even if they were able to produce a forward-sweeping fighter jet, would the air force need it?

moreover, if he really did create one, the higher-ups would go crazy.

are you complaining that you don’t have enough fifth-generation fighters at home?

not to mention the j-20, the j -18 had just been developed, and he had helped to develop it.

there was also a j-31 at home, which was not equipped.

yet, here, he made another one.

good heavens.

that would surely liven things up.

the number of fifth-generation fighters in all the countries in the world combined was nowhere nearly as many as the ones in china.

fighter jets were not something that could be improved with more models.

the aerospace industry was a competition of systems. it was not just about being the best in a single field.

in this aspect, the small days were typical.

and even if you built a fighter jet, it would not be so easy to install.

he had to consider the ground crew.

there was also the cost of maintenance.

otherwise, if a base station was equipped with ten types of fighter jets, the pilots would be fine, but the ground crew would go crazy.

he had gone off topic.

tang rui looked at the model on the screen in a daze. he was thinking about the material problem.

it was a technical problem.

he did not even consider it.

unless it was a technology like the light quantum information capture device, which did not even have a scientific theory.

the rest of the techniques could be derived with a simple deduction.

even the light quantum information capture technology could be slowly reversed and studied bit by bit.

however, the only problem was the materials.

this thing was unreasonable.

he didn’t talk about science.

instead, he was talking about metaphysics.

tang rui could now use the system to strengthen the body materials, and he could also take out the body materials for analysis.

but the problem was…

after analyzing the material composition of the body, it was useless.

it couldn’t be created.

materials were not something that could be created just by setting its composition.

the order in which these materials were added.

how much temperature was needed during the refinement, how long it lasted, and how much pressure was needed.

then, what should he do with the heat treatment?

they were all problems.

what’s the use of only giving you the ingredients?

to put it bluntly, during the refining process, the temperature was increased by 5 degrees and the time was extended by 5 seconds.

then, the materials refined would not be the same.

the performance parameters could be worlds apart.

the more he thought about it, the more uncomfortable he felt.

“xiao yi, show me all the theses related to high-temperature materials published in sci in the past year.”

“alright, searching…”

swoosh!

in front of tang rui’s eyes, a long table of contents appeared.

it was filled with papers related to high-temperature materials published by scientists from various countries in the past year.

“according to the cited data, sort them from high to low.”

“alright.”

tang rui started reading from the first thesis.

he wanted to find inspiration.

at the same time, he also wanted to understand the latest results in materials science.

in the blink of an eye.

two hours passed.

after tang rui quickly browsed through a thesis, he took off his glasses and stopped reading the thesis.

it was meaningless.

these published papers only had scientific value.

most of them could only be manufactured in the laboratory.

it was impossible to mass produce.

however, he had not read so many theses for nothing.

he had really found inspiration.

graphene.

everyone had heard of this kind of material before. whether it was from the media or from magazines, everyone must have seen related reports.

the future king of materials.

it had a wide range of uses.

every year, there were at least 80,000 theses written by materials science graduates related to graphene.

this thing was almost playing out.

but after so many years of bragging about graphene, why didn’t everyone use it?

there was no way to mass produce it.

high-performance graphene had a two-dimensional and three-dimensional structure and was only as thin as an atomic layer.

as for the graphene that was piled up in millions of layers, it was called graphene.

tang rui thought.

if he could create a device that could mass produce two-dimensional graphene, then the high-temperature resistant material he wanted would be easy to get.

is graphene resistant to high temperatures?

don’t ask such a childish question.

there was a saying in materials science that graphene was like a brick, and it needed to be moved wherever it was.

high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high toughness, superconductivity, superfluid…

as long as it had the physical properties that one could think of.

even graphene could be integrated into it.

moreover, most of the functions were not bad.

it was very magical.

“did we buy any equipment to produce graphene?”

tang rui opened his mouth to ask the logistics department.

“boss, i think i ordered one. let me check.”

“alright.”

he looked it up on the computer.

previously, he had really ordered a small-scale laboratory graphitizing furnace and graphene/carbon nanotube-manufacturing equipment.

these two pieces of equipment were used for experiments.

“when will these two pieces of equipment arrive?”

“boss, they’ve already sent the goods. they’ll be here the day after tomorrow at the latest.”

“alright, 1 got it.”

tang rui nodded after listening and turned to leave.

when the two pieces of equipment arrived, he was ready to disassemble them and strengthen them.

“boss, our first draft is done.”

feng yuanxing found tang rui and opened his mouth to report.

so fast?

tang rui looked at the time. it’s only been over two hours. when did your efficiency become so high?

“take it out and take a look.”

“alright.”

feng yuanxing placed the sketch on tang rui’s desk.

a sketch of a fighter jet with a sharp and long nose, with canard wings and forward-swept wings appeared in front of tang rui.

just looking at the sketch, it didn’t feel very amazing.

“what’s with its tail?”

tang rui very quickly discovered a peculiar place, and that was that the tail of the fighter plane on the sketch was connected to the forward sweep wing.

“boss, our initial idea is to make a variable forward sweep wing. this tail will be used as an elevator when the variable forward sweep wing is attached to the ex-husband’s canard wing for supersonic cruising.”

feng yuan xing hurriedly explained.

after tang rui heard it, he thought about it in his mind.

the wings can be changed to sweep forward.

yes. no problem.

however, this variable forward sweep wing could fit the front canard wing when cruising at supersonic speeds.

then, wouldn’t the entire fighter jet become a triangle?

wait a minute. why did he remember seeing this look in a hollywood movie?

were you copying hollywood sci-fi movies again?
