new year’s day.

tang rui gave the company’s employees a day off.

however, he didn’t take the day off himself. instead, he came to the company to help with the move, along with military personnel.

the new company location was already prepared.

he originally thought they would have to wait until the chinese new year to move, but unexpectedly, commander liu accelerated the process.

it wasn’t even chinese new year yet and everything was already set up.

the military sent over a dozen heavy trucks to transport all of the company’s belongings, leaving nothing behind.

the place was cleaned up so thoroughly that not even a speck of dust was left.

upon arriving at the new location, tang rui had the equipment he personally assembled sent to the laboratory inside the mountain, and the remaining regular equipment was sent to the external research institute.

after completing all of this, tang rui, accompanied by li shuyao, went to the villa on the mountainside.

“how do you like our new home?” tang rui asked while proudly leading li shuyao to the observation deck.

“it’s very beautiful,” li shuyao replied.

at this moment, li shuyao’s mind was also having trouble processing everything. who would have thought they could build such a beautiful villa here?

“well, you can start cleaning the rooms. i have some business to attend to,” tang rui said.

tang rui really disliked doing housework, so he planned to escape.

li shuyao saw his expression and knew he was planning to escape so easily.

“let’s do housework together, and i’ll give you a reward tonight,” she suggested.

“what kind of reward?” tang rui asked.

“the bridal outfit inspired by altori yapandragan that you’ve always wanted,” li shuyao replied.

“deal,” tang rui said. he thought that doing housework occasionally wasn’t a bad idea.

as a result, the two of them spent most of the day cleaning the house, which was tiring due to its size.

tang rui collapsed on the sofa, planning to create a household robot after finishing alty’s new home. otherwise, housework would become a problem.

after a long day, tang rui wasn’t in the mood for li shuyao’s reward that night, so he planned to redeem it in a few days.

the next day, tang rui had breakfast and took a walk to the company’s office building on the square.

by this time, the employees had also arrived and were pleased with the new office location.

especially the track in front of the square, which left them in awe.

tang rui made some simple arrangements for the employees and then led a group of researchers to the building of the research institute.

“mr. feng, i’m leaving the position of the director of the company’s research institute to you,” tang rui said to feng yuanxing when they arrived at the research institute.

“thank you, mr. tang. please rest assured, i will manage the research institute well,” feng yuanxing excitedly replied.

not only was feng yuanxing excited, but the postgrad in materials science standing next to him was also thrilled. a few days ago, after the confidentiality meeting and discussions about lab classifications, someone had told him about mr. feng’s situation. since then, he had been nervous, fearing that tang rui would make him a small leader, which would be a death sentence. besides tang rui, no one could withstand the “debuff” from mr. feng.

fortunately, mr. feng got the position, which relieved his anxiety. being a minor leader under mr. feng was not an issue, as he was currently responsible for the materials experimentation sector.

after arranging the employees, tang rui returned to his laboratory.

“celia, display the three-dimensional model of the robotic dog.”

“sure.”

the three-dimensional model of the robotic dog appeared on the screen of tang rui’s smart glasses.

“no, wait a moment,” tang rui said. he had initially planned to modify the three-dimensional model of the robotic dog to create a multi-functional laboratory robot, an upgraded version of the robotic arm. however, he suddenly realized that the current view wasn’t suitable.

now that he had his own space, he decided to prioritize the dream he had of creating his own iron man laboratory with holographic projections.

he paused the modification of the design and began building the three-dimensional projection device.

tang rui selected some components from the warehouse and brought them to his laboratory. he began manufacturing the three-dimensional projection device.

it was a straightforward task. he only needed to create a

pseudo-three-dimensional projection device and then enhance it through the system panel. in less than half an hour, he had completed the construction of the three-dimensional projection device.

“celia, initiate enhancement.”

it cost him three source points, and the device was successfully enhanced.

“celia, display the three-dimensional model of the robotic dog.”

“okay.”

tang rui was now presented with the holographic model of the robotic dog, in a 1:1 scale.

he moved his right hand, and the holographic model in front of him began to rotate.

“this is more like it,” tang rui said with a satisfied smile. he couldn’t imagine doing research without a holographic projection device.

“celia, remove… no need, i’ll do it myself.”

he had initially intended to give instructions to celia, but then decided to take matters into his own hands.

tang rui reached out and dismantled the limbs of the robotic dog. he enlarged the body parts and revealed the internal structure.

then, he reached into the robot’s body and removed the internal combustion engine.

he snapped his fingers, and everything inside the robotic dog’s body froze in place, as if time had stopped.

tang rui reached in and removed all the components related to the internal combustion engine.

once that was done, tang rui studied the remaining components and considered how to adjust the internal structure.

“celia, display the three-dimensional model of the wireless charging device.”

“okay.”

a wireless charging device appeared on his smart glasses screen.

tang rui removed the shell manually, leaving only the motherboard.

he placed the motherboard among the suspended components.

tang rui examined the internal structure, grabbed a cable, and duplicated several identical ones. he connected the cables to the wireless charging device, with one end connecting to the power source inside the robotic dog.

then he reassembled the components, like building with blocks.

he worked tirelessly for half a day.

he had successfully designed a device about the size of a computer’s central processing unit (cpu).

“celia, save the three-dimensional model and generate the design blueprint.”

“please provide a name.”

“let’s call it ‘laboratory multi-functional robot body model.’”

“understood, generating the design blueprint… generation complete.”

hundreds of design blueprints were created by celia.

“celia, compare the data in the warehouse and display any missing components and equipment.”

“okay, comparison complete. all components are available.”

tang rui was surprised that everything he needed was already in stock, sparing the need for procurement.

he went to the warehouse and took two sets of the required components.

tang rui began building the multi-functional robot.

this was the most crucial piece, as it would allow celia to become truly useful..
