“fish pond, come in. the director said that there’s enough material, and there’s no need to perform any maneuvers.”

“fish pond responding.”

after tang rui heard chicken head’s message, he leveled the fighter.

after the battle with chicken head, both of them had completed their practice.

the people in the control tower below also confirmed tang rui’s piloting skills.

to create a better and more impressive promotional video, they allowed tang rui to pilot the fighter jet and perform some maneuvers.

just now, tang rui piloted the fighter jet and executed all the aerial combat maneuvers once, including cobra and falling leaf, which he wouldn’t use in actual combat.

though these two maneuvers had no practical combat significance, they looked good, particularly the falling leaf of the forward-swept wing fighter jet. it appeared graceful with pauses and turns in the middle.

the people in the ground control tower were all astounded when they witnessed the white emperor fighter jet’s remarkable maneuverability.

“fish pond, i have to go back. you can come to our place to play when you have time. although our fighter jet is not as good as yours, we have the latest simulator that can simulate various types of aircraft.”

after chicken head left, he said to tang rui.

“alright, i’ll go if 1 have the chance.”

tang rui wasn’t very interested in the simulator since he had one at home.

after chicken head left, there was only tang rui alone in the sky, piloting the fighter jet, flying there.

it was broad daylight, and there wasn’t much scenery.

there were no cumulonimbus clouds below, so he didn’t have the chance to experience what it felt like to pass through thick clouds.

“tower to fish pond.”

“this is fish pond. please go ahead.”

“please report the fuel situation.”

“currently, we have less than a third of the fuel left. we can fly 3800 kilometers. if we activate the afterburners, we can fly at a speed of mach 6 and above for only 15 minutes.”

the people in the control tower did a simple calculation.

they could determine the battle radius.

the combat radius of tang rui’s fighter jet reached an astonishing 6000 kilometers.

what kind of concept was this?

the fighter jet could take off from anywhere in the country, fly to the second island chain for combat, and then return without the need to refuel in mid-air, entering the battlefield at an extremely fast speed.

this was the performance of a sixth-generation console.

it was extraordinary.

after understanding the fuel reserves of the fighter jets, the control tower indicated that he could fly freely in this airspace.

of course, it was possible to return, but this time, they couldn’t land at the university of technology’s stadium. they had to land at the military airport.

tang rui thought about it after hearing it.

there was no point in going back to the university of technology as they had their own matters to discuss while he could only sit by the side and watch.

therefore, it was better to return home than to go to the university of technology.

“alright, the flight route has been reported. it will be transferred to saddleback tower later. this mission is over. goodbye.”

“goodbye, fish pond out.”

tang rui pulled the control stick, adjusted the direction, and headed straight home.

this time, he didn’t use the afterburner.

anyway, there wasn’t much to do.

he flew slowly.

occasionally, he could even glance at the passenger planes flying below him.

they flew slowly for more than an hour.

tang rui landed at his own airport.

the robot arranged by hong lian was already waiting at the airport.

after the fighter jet landed, the robot rushed over and set up the ladder.

tang rui got off the fighter jet.

lin chao, gao yang, and feng yuanxing approached them from afar.

“president tang, you’re playing a big game this time,” lin chao looked at tang rui and said, feeling helpless.

last night, tang rui had moved too swiftly.

lin chao did not know what had happened.

when tang rui arrived at the university of technology, he received a call from the higher-ups to inquire about the situation.

when was the white emperor fighter jet produced?

lin chao was dumbfounded by the question.

wasn’t it just finished with the design and preparations for manufacturing? they didn’t even have the necessary parts. how could it be finished?

in the end, he realized that he had been too naive.

the company’s fighter had not been manufactured yet, but tang rui’s own assembly workshop had already built one.

no wonder a few days ago, the material experiments had all been halted, and he had specially cooperated with tang rui to make various components. it turned out they were making fighter planes.

however, who would have thought of this?

“hehe… brother lin, look at this fighter jet. isn’t it beautiful?” tang rui said with a smile.

“beautiful. the military has expressed an interest in purchasing one.”

“just one?”

“one, initially. we’ll have it go through various tests. if there are no problems, we’ll purchase more.

“president tang, give me a price so that 1 can respond to the higher-ups.”

price?

tang rui had a slight headache.

he had spared no expense in building this fighter jet.

if the price were based on the cost of his fighter jet, the military would be shocked.

not at that price.

he didn’t know how much a fighter jet cost. after all, they hadn’t even started building it.

“there’s no rush to quote a price. we’ll wait until the company’s prototype is built. i used a lot of other technology in this one. it’s too costly. the military can’t afford it.”

tang rui explained the situation. he wasn’t planning to overcharge the military; he wanted to be honest.

“spending money? president tang, may i ask, how much is the cost of this fighter jet?” lin chao asked with a frown.

according to the military, they simply wanted to know if tang rui was willing to sell the fighter jet. the military was also anxious because they knew other nations had a sixth-generation console, but theirs was based on tang rui’s technology.

therefore, they needed to buy one for testing, and based on the performance after the test, they would derive and simulate future aerial combat and develop new tactics.

“i won’t disclose the cost. just tell the higher-ups that the wings of my fighter jet have been coated with 600 layers of nano-coating technology, and the thickness is no more than 5 millimeters. the anti-stretching parts of the wings and the interior of the body are made of a mesh layer woven from carbon nanotubes combined with ultra-high-strength composite materials and high-temperature-resistant materials.”

tang rui explained and gave an honest response.

lin chao didn’t press further after hearing this. just the craftsmanship alone would cost a fortune, not to mention those high-performance materials, which had not yet been mass-produced.

“old feng, what’s the matter?” tang rui looked at feng yuanxing beside him and asked.

“president tang, do we still have to continue building the prototype?”

feng yuanxing asked.

“of course, we have to build it. this fighter jet is my private jet. the one made by the company is for sale.”

“okay, president tang, 1 understand.”

after chatting for a while, everyone left to attend to their own tasks. tang rui also returned to the laboratory.

he stood on the mechanical platform and allowed the mechanical arm to remove his armor.

this was also a ceremonial act.

in fact, there was a disassembling system in the armor. as long as he wanted to take off the armor, the connection device inside would be disconnected.

at that point, taking off the armor would be easier than removing clothing. he could simply pull it down.

in the evening, when li shuyao returned home, she was very surprised to find tang rui lying on the sofa in the living room, playing with his phone.

“didn’t you have a meeting? why are you back?” li shuyao asked curiously after removing her coat.

“i was only gone for half a day and returned in the afternoon.”

“oh, what would you like to eat tonight?”

“braised pork ribs.”

“i’ll prepare it for you now.”

more than forty minutes passed.

tang rui came to the dining table, where he was greeted by the aroma of braised pork ribs. he enjoyed his meal and started to cook. after dinner, the robot began cleaning the dining table and kitchen.

tang rui and li shuyao returned to the sofa and began chatting.

“do you have any free time recently?” li shuyao looked at tang rui expectantly.

“yes, there shouldn’t be much going on recently,” tang rui responded. he didn’t have many commitments in the near future and was planning to take a break.

“in that case, i’ll apply for annual leave tomorrow. we can go to hainan for a vacation.”

“no problem. there have been so many things to do this year that 1 almost forgot about taking a vacation. i’ll go prepare the necessary items. we can take the yacht out to sea.”

tang rui felt enthusiastic about the idea.

he had been thinking of going on vacation before the new year, but it had been postponed. now, he was excited about the prospect of using the yacht that prince salim had given him to sail out to sea..
