after working out, tang rui finished showering, sat on the bed in the room, and played with his phone.

li shuyao lay beside him, putting on a facial mask and watching the drama.

neither of them disturbed the other.

buzz…

the image on the screen changed from a cat film to a caller id.

it was lin chao.

“hello, brother lin, what’s the matter?”

after tang rui picked up the phone, he put the incoming call window in the background and continued to watch the cat.

“president tang, there’s something. the higher-ups asked me to ask if the drone parked at ma’an airport could be used. if you can use it, there’s something that requires the use of a drone. if you don’t have time, can you give the air force authorization to control the drone remotely?” lin chao asked about the drones.

“use drones? didn’t i give a drone to the military for testing? why can’t we use that one?” tang rui asked doubtfully.

“that drone is undergoing an equipment upgrade and is currently unavailable.”

“oh… then 1’11 help. there’s no need to transfer the authority. it’s quite troublesome.”

“alright, thank you for your trouble, president tang. i’ll inform the ground crew at ma’an airport to prepare now. the details will be sent to your tactical tablet later.”

“alright, i got it.”

he hung up the phone.

tang rui put on his pajamas and came downstairs.

he took out the secret suitcase and the tactical tablet inside, waiting for the news.

beep beep!

in less than five minutes, he received a mission notification on his tactical tablet.

it was all without rhyme or reason.

it was to let him pilot the drone to the designated airspace and wait for orders.

tang rui curled his lips.

activating the drone control system.

at this moment, the drone was being towed to the runway by the ground crew.

activating the avionic system.

the engine began to warm up.

very quickly, the drone was towed to the runway, and the ground crew was evacuated.

“fish pond calling the tower.”

“tower, please go ahead.”

“fish pond requesting to take off.”

“wait a moment, we’re checking the runway.”

“roger that.”

after waiting for about three minutes, the control tower sent a message that they were allowed to take off.

tang rui put down the brakes, pushed the throttle valve, and controlled the drone to take off.

after reaching an altitude of 20,000 meters, he activated supersonic cruise.

twenty minutes later, tang rui arrived at the mission location given on the tactical tablet.

“fish pond calling the tower.”

“tower, please go ahead.”

“fish pond has reached the mission location, please instruct.”

“tower, copy that. please wait.”

beep beep!

in less than a minute, the mission notification appeared on the tactical tablet again.

tang rui opened it and took a look.

after reaching the maximum altitude, he locked onto a missile five minutes later.

there was a special notification.

‘do not attack that missile.’

as long as he used an electro-optical device to record the data of the missile, it would be best if he could record all the data from the launch of the missile to outer space.

record missile data?

after tang rui saw the mission prompt, he seemed to understand something.

he turned on the light quantum information capture system.

as long as there was light, everything was within his scanning range.

in the next second, he saw what he was looking for.

it was a missile.

tang rui controlled the drone and observed the missile as it rose.

he had never seen the model before.

however, he was certain that this thing could reach beyond the atmosphere.

he stopped when he reached 30,000 meters in the air.

the drone could still continue to climb.

but it couldn’t go any higher.

after all, the drone that he had given to the military could only go a little higher than this.

anyway, he had the light quantum information capture system. no matter how high or low he flew, he could easily lock onto the missile.

it was then that an alarm appeared on the monitor.

as the screen zoomed in, he saw a long-range ballistic missile launch.

the launch site was the northern border.

the missile climbed rapidly and soon flew out of the atmosphere. then, it began to adjust its direction.

beep beep beep…

at this moment, the missile that he had observed earlier was also launched.

it also rapidly ascended and entered the atmosphere.

but it was obvious.

the missile that was launched later was used to intercept the ballistic missile.

because in the trajectory calculation of the drone.

the trajectories of the two missiles would collide outside the atmosphere.

“mid-course anti-missile?”

as long as one wasn’t a fool, they would understand what was going on.

if he remembered correctly, this should be the seventh mid-course anti-missile experiment.

unexpectedly, he could still witness such a grand scene with his own eyes.

this was because there were no melons around him. otherwise, he would definitely eat a melon.

although he was letting his imagination run wild.

however, the drone’s electro-optical system…

he locked onto the missile.

no matter if it was the flying posture, flying speed, or flight trajectory, it did not escape the drone’s lock.

actually, it was not just this one.

the previous trajectory was also locked by the drone.

10.. 9.. 8..

tang rui looked at the data on the screen and began to count down.

3.. 2.. 1.. 0

boom!

the intercept missile accurately hit the warhead of the ballistic missile and directly detonated it.

beautiful.

tang rui also gave a thumbs-up.

this technology was really awesome.

only two countries in the world had this technology, and mao xiong had not developed it back then.

it was actually quite normal.

with the accuracy of mao xiong’s missile, it was extremely difficult to achieve mid-course anti-missile.

he looked up at the rocket cloud in the dark night sky.

tang rui took a few photos as a memento.

after doing all this, he controlled the drone to lower its altitude and then called the tower.

“calling the tower, the fish pond mission is completed. requesting to return.”

“control tower received, permission to return.”

he adjusted the direction of the drone.

he pushed the throttle.

the drone entered supersonic cruise mode again and returned quickly.

“celia, show me the data that was recorded and recorded just now.”

“alright.”

the data recorded by the drone appeared on the screen.

tang rui frowned.

it wasn’t that the data wasn’t good, but it was too good.

from the moment the missile was launched to the moment it hit the target, all the images were recorded. it was still at 8k’s resolution.

how could this work?

he had to deal with it quickly.

he didn’t even need celia’s help. tang rui handled this record himself.

it was very difficult to improve the quality of the video.

however, lowering the quality of the video was not an easy task.

after everything was settled, tang rui stored this data on a separate mobile hard disk.

when he controlled the drone to land at the airport, before the ground crew came to tow the drone, someone knocked on his door.

he opened it.

as expected, it was the military’s secret personnel.

tang rui handed over the mobile hard drive that he had prepared. in the end, the other party put away the things and left without even letting him sign the confidentiality agreement.

this wasn’t for him to break the rules.

it should be about to be made public.

so as long as the detailed information was not leaked, the rest could be used to brag..
