before going to sleep at night, tang rui, holding his subconscious learning device, entered the study.

he was preparing to upgrade and strengthen this device.

for such a long time, he hadn’t strengthened it, mainly because its functionality was sufficient.

but tonight, as he was preparing to study before sleeping,

a whimsical idea struck him.

he thought of a movie he had seen several years ago, “inception.”

he wanted to try and see if the upgraded subconscious learning device could achieve what “inception” did.

to completely dominate his own dreams.

of course, this was just his idea, and it didn’t mean that the subconscious learning device could actually achieve that level.

it didn’t matter if it couldn’t.

consider it a reward for his old companion who had been with him all this time.

system, add some points!

in an instant, all specialized enhancements of the various systems were maxed out.

but tang rui continued to choose enhancements.

this time, the enhancement, like that of the drone, had several options.

tang rui looked and chose the option related to memory for enhancement.

in an instant, over 300 origin points disappeared.

a dark golden light flashed.

the original eye mask had disappeared, replaced by a box the size of a ps4, and

several black patches the size of one-yuan coins were next to it.

this change was quite significant.

tang rui looked at the system panel.

[item: deep memory simulation learning device +6]

[experience: 472,881/120,000 (upgradable)]

[enhancement: deep memory information imprinting system]

[features: accelerated thinking, clear logic, comprehensive understanding]

[attributes: memory capacity increased by 80%, logic ability increased by 80%, understanding ability increased by 80%]

[origin points: 1879.28]

after checking the data on the system panel, he clicked on the upgrade again.

the experience value had long overflowed.

it’s just that without the enhancement system, he couldn’t upgrade.

whoosh!

a red light flashed.

the upgrade was complete.

and it was a two-level upgrade in one go.

[item: deep memory simulation learning device +8]

[experience: 112,881/480,000]

[enhancement: deep memory information imprinting system]

[features: accelerated thinking, clear logic, comprehensive understanding]

[attributes: memory capacity increased by 180%, logic ability increased by 120%, understanding ability increased by 120%]

[abilities: memory palace, skill replication]

[origin points: 1879.28]

tang rui was stunned after seeing the newly added abilities on the system panel.

enhancements started adding features from level 4.

specialized enhancements started adding attributes from level 7.

but he didn’t expect that after reaching level 7, they would start adding abilities.

memory palace was somewhat understandable.

he could roughly guess what it was about.

but how did this skill replication work?

tang rui picked up two of the small black patches the size of one-yuan coins and placed them on his temples.

hmm?

he could actually sense an operational interface.

not with his eyes but through genuine feeling.

it was quite amazing.

with a single thought, he could control the device.

[sleep learning] [skill replication]

currently, the device only had these two functions.

tang rui chose skill replication.

[collecting and analyzing information fragments…]

it could actually work, and it seemed to have some value.

the question was, what skills could the system analyze from him?

model aircraft making?

drone operation?

[bluffing: collection progress 2.3%]

tang rui was a bit speechless.

the system had its quirks and wasn’t as intelligent as he thought.

exit, exit.

collecting his own skills didn’t seem very interesting.

tang rui held the mainframe and brought a few patches back to the bedroom.

li shuyao was still asleep.

and she seemed to be sleeping well.

after all, when the body expended a lot of energy, sleep was generally deep.

tang rui removed the patches from her temples and started skill replication. [collecting and analyzing information fragments…]

[vehicle driving: collection progress 13.1%… 27.1%…]

hmm?

the collection progress was moving quite fast.

was she dreaming of driving in her sleep?

in less than ten minutes, the collection progress for the vehicle driving skill had reached 100%, meaning the skill replication was complete.

tang rui removed the patches from her temples and turned off the lights, entering sleep learning mode.

the content of his study was the driving skill he had just replicated.

in an instant, he entered a dream.

a night without words.

the next morning, tang rui woke up, and li shuyao was still asleep.

he removed the patches from his temples.

he looked at li shuyao, who was still asleep, with a somewhat complicated expression.

“i really shouldn’t have trusted a female driver’s driving skills.”

tang rui felt a bit speechless.

in his dream last night, he was learning a skill.

but it seemed that learning it was no better than not learning it.

there was no significant improvement, and it might even have regressed.

it seemed that skill replication couldn’t be used casually; it could be easily influenced.

if one truly wanted to replicate skills, they should find top-notch experts.

after breakfast, before getting in the car, tang rui gave two patches to gao

yang.

“yang, stick these on your temples.”

“sure.”

gao yang didn’t ask why and took the patches, sticking them on his temples.

on the way to the company, driving skills had only reached a collection progress of 13.5%.

this was significantly slower compared to the speed of collecting li shuyao’s skills the previous night.

was it because gao yang hadn’t slept? or was it because gao yang’s skill level was higher, making it more challenging to collect?

tang rui felt it was likely the latter.

“lin, can you arrange a visit to the shooting range for me? i want to do some target practice.”

“sure, i’ll make a call.”

lin chao didn’t ask why tang rui wanted to go to the shooting range. it was something easily arranged with a phone call.

once the arrangements were made, tang rui went to the shooting range.

the security team that protected him also got in an off-road vehicle and followed him.

when they arrived at the shooting range, tang rui asked the team protecting him for a favor.

“could you help me with something?”

while gao yang was doing some drifting in the off-road vehicle around the range, the progress of the skill collection accelerated significantly.

tang rui wanted to copy some skills from these people.

he didn’t need anything else, just combat and shooting skills. these were the skills he definitely needed.

“of course, what do you need us to do?” the team leader among them asked. “it’s not much trouble. after you stick this on, please perform shooting and combat training at your usual level. i want to collect some data.”

tang rui took out the patches and explained.

“sure.”

they didn’t know what this was or what data they were collecting, but they didn’t need to know.

soon, all of them attached the patches and, working in pairs, began shooting and combat training at their usual levels.

[close combat: collection progress 8.5%… 15.3…]

[shooting: collection progress 11.7%… 25.2….]
