“fish pond to tower. requesting take off.”

“tower to fish pond. take off permission granted.”

in less than 20 minutes, the drone was fully fueled and towed to the runway.

after waiting for the engine to warm up, tang rui called the control tower to request takeoff.

he pushed the throttle and released the brakes.

with the roar of the engine, the drone took off after a short glide into the sky.

“fish pond to tower. requesting to deploy the longbo lens.”

“request approved. you are permitted to deploy the lens, but you must fly within the designated airspace.”

“understood. fish pond out.”

after deploying the longbo lens, tang rui controlled the drone and executed a large-angle turn.

then, it ascended to an altitude of 30,000 meters and headed northwest towards the arctic ocean at a speed of mach 8.

in less than twenty minutes, the drone arrived above a dark piece of land.

“celia, activate the light quantum information capture system and analyze the ground situation.”

“alright, data analysis is in progress.”

tang rui changed the drone’s flight mode to a subsonic automatic cruise. after setting the cruise path, he activated the drone’s optical simulation system.

after completing these tasks, tang rui began to observe the ground situation.

indeed, the battle was intense, but no one had been hit.

to be honest, tang rui couldn’t believe it. had his combat prowess really reached such a level?

the wave of steel that had shaken the entire west had now become history.

after a moment of reflection, tang rui pushed aside these thoughts.

as the drone scanned the ground, tang rui had a complete view of everything on the ground.

“celia, show me the current locations of all the meeh dogs.”

“alright.”

swoosh!

85 red dots appeared on the screen, indicating the positions of the robot dogs on the battlefield.

“show me the ammunition and fuel reserves of all the mech dogs.”

“alright.”

tang rui examined the information, and then he deployed 12 fully equipped mech dogs and disconnected celia’s connection. the disconnection was not abrupt, but rather a smooth transition.

unexpectedly, when celia took over the system, the control system on the computer generated a feedback message: “signal transmission error, system command unable to be transmitted, entering automatic combat mode.”

to be honest, this was their first day using the mech dogs and their first time on the battlefield. they had been on the battlefield for less than half an hour.

unfortunately, the 12 mech dogs were now uncontrollable.

of course, no one would have anticipated that tang rui would take control of the robot, and everyone would likely assume it was a system error. after all, the more advanced the technology, the more prone it was to errors.

upon receiving this news, the commander on the battlefield promptly ordered the soldiers to recall the other mech dogs. these machines were quite expensive, and if they were all destroyed, he would bear the responsibility.

as for the mech dogs that had entered automatic combat mode, there was no choice but to watch as they headed towards the enemy.

“celia, calculate the battlefield data.”

“alright.”

from tang rui’s perspective, the situation on the battlefield seemed almost like a cheat. there was no place to hide for the enemy.

the enemy’s location, weapons and equipment, and their distance from the robot dogs were all displayed clearly in front of tang rui.

under his control, the mounting platform on the back of a mech dog adjusted its angle. the 12.7mm anti-material sniper rifle was aimed at the mercenaries hiding in the forest.

distance: 716 meters, wind speed: 23, trajectory adjusted.

lock complete.

bang!

one shot, one kill.

tang rui checked the result and shifted his target to the next unlucky mercenary.

distance: 833 meters, wind speed: 23, trajectory adjusted.

target locked.

bang!

another shot, another kill.

faced with these sudden shots, the mercenaries who had set up an ambush outside the city quickly lost two of their members.

hearing the gunshots, they attempted to locate the source. however, with the mech dogs’ speed, especially in the forest, by the time they heard the gunshots and attempted to find their source, the mech dogs had already relocated.

the mercenary group consisted of 37 individuals, all concealed in the forest. but in just a minute and a half, they all met their end.

wall piercing, x-ray, lock.

how could these mercenaries possibly stand up to tang rui’s advantage?

they had no chance. even if they tried to flee, they couldn’t escape. the drone in the sky was constantly tracking their movements and sharing this information in real time with the mech dogs.

“after dealing with these mercenaries, we’ll head to another location where more of them are hiding.”

tang rui directed the mech dog squad and sprinted towards the next target.

his objective was clear: these were freelance mercenaries seeking profit from the war.

where did these mercenaries come from? hadn’t they been dispatched by military contractor organizations?

wasn’t the us wealthy?

tang rui intended to see how much money it would take to fill this hole.

the team of 12 mech dogs, with the support of the drone’s information, maximized their long-range sniping and suppression capabilities.

sometimes, the mercenaries would take cover, making it difficult for anti-material sniper rifles to hit them. but that was no issue for tang rui. he had equipped two mech dogs with mortars and two with howitzers.

the remaining eight were equipped with anti-material sniper rifles.

tang rui’s strategy was not to engage in direct confrontation but to employ long-range sniping tactics. after each shot, the mech dogs would change positions.

a mortar shell explosion eliminated a group of mercenaries, and sniper bullets penetrated the obstacles to eliminate snipers and observers.

in any case, they kept firing into the darkness.

three hours passed.

tang rui, with his seemingly cheat-like advantage, had wiped out all the mercenaries in the area.

according to the information collected by the drone, the remaining mercenaries had begun to retreat.

this left tang rui feeling somewhat unsatisfied; he hadn’t fully enjoyed himself yet.

“celia, restore the data connection and signal. instruct the mech dogs to return.”

“alright.”

after issuing the command, the signal was re-established after being disconnected for three hours, and the mech dogs, in accordance with the orders, turned around and returned to the base.

tang rui controlled the drone and returned to their home country. he opened the longbo lens above the airport and landed smoothly.

he closed his laptop.

tang rui was ready for some rest. it had been an exhilarating night of combat.

whoever said that playing games with cheats didn’t bring satisfaction?

it was indeed quite enjoyable.

simply deploying the mech dogs to the battlefield wouldn’t have achieved such an effect. however, with the full map information provided by the drone, everything changed.

in modern warfare, information was a powerful weapon. destroy the information, and you disrupt the enemy’s plans..
