Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 974: Chapter 968: Children and Grandchildren Have Their Own Fortune_1

Today, the Qins are abuzz with the return of Qin Xue’s family. They all had a bustling dinner together, followed by family conversation by the hearth.

“Molin, are you not planning to return to your original unit after graduation?” the old man asked Chu Molin.

“No, I will stay in the military in Imperial Capital directly.” Chu Molin answered the old man’s question.

“That’s quite good. This way, Qin Xue and the kids won’t have to move again, being together as a family is stronger than anything else.” The old man also knew that for a soldier, it was not easy for the whole family to be together.

“Yes.” Chu Molin knew this too and nodded in agreement.

“And what about Qin Xue, how are you managing to take care of the children every day? Can you do it?” After he finished addressing Chu Molin, the old man asked Qin Xue.

“Grandpa, you don’t need to worry about me. If I can’t handle it alone, aren’t Fang Xiu and Xue Ling also helping? You should enjoy your happiness without worry. We can take care of our children hat.” Qin Xue said, looking at the two elders who truly cared about their family. They really reminded her of her grandparents from her past life. They always expressed their concerns about her, regardless of the time.

“That’s good, you have two kids and you can’t possibly hold both at the same time. It’s better to have someone help. Otherwise, you can’t even cook.” Mrs. Qin added after hearing Qin Xue’s answer. It was indeed true, having someone to look after the children at least they don’t have to worry about them getting hurt.

“Uh-huh, I know. Grandma, Grandpa, would you like to come and stay with us in Imperial Capital for a while?” Qin Xue asked the elders.

“No, we are old and don’t want to travel anymore. As long as you and the younger generations are doing well, that’s the best thing for us.” Mrs. Qin responded with a laugh. Their intention was good, but they were old and did not want the hassle of moving around. Moreover, there were many things to take care of at home; they would not leave before all is settled.

“What’s there to it? Haven’t you seen people older than you traveling around and enjoying life? Why is it that when it comes to you, it suddenly becomes a problem?” Qin Xue knew the old couple were probably worried about causing trouble for her and others, but since she already mentioned it, she was prepared for the inconvenience.

“Others are others, this is our home. As long as you come back to visit us often, we will be satisfied.” Mrs. Qin declared. They didn’t want to inconvenience the younger generations with their needs.

“Well then, if you decide not to go, you won’t go. When we have time, we’ll come back and visit you.” Qin Xue did not insist anymore. After all, her grandma had a point; they could not simply leave the house now. If the elders felt happier being at home with their sons, then they should stay home. Her goal was to ensure their happiness after all.

“That’s right, life goes on wherever you are.” Mrs. Qin stated. As long as they were in their granddaughter’s mind and thought of home, everything was well. She had always known that Qin Xue was responsible, and there were good times still waiting for her.

“Oh, I wonder when Xiao Yu and the others will come back for the New Year. I have some things to discuss with them, but because we decided to return in a rush, we didn’t get the chance to tell them in time.” Qin Xue commented. She hadn’t had the chance yet to ask about the business at the shop, or if there was still wine left. It was a busy season, and many people of stature chose to give wine as a present. That was an unwavering law, no matter the time.
