I Created a Containment Object at the Start, and Became a God

50: One against two!The Special Operations Team led by Zhang Ji moved swiftly through the ruins, heading straight for the three core buildings that were miraculously untouched by the shelling, enveloped in pillars of light.

”Team One and Team Two, left flank! Team Three and Team Four, right flank! Form a encirclement and control all entrances and exits!” Zhang Ji commanded through his tactical headset as he ran.

The well-trained special operations members immediately dispersed, silently taking up advantageous positions like cheetahs.

Zhang Ji himself drew two custom-made high-frequency vibrating electric blades, blue-white electric arcs crackling along the edges, preparing to lead the charge into the nearest building.

”Boom! Boom! Boom!”

Just then, a series of dull, rhythmic tremors suddenly emanated from the ground, as if some colossal creature was awakening beneath.

”captain! An earthquake?” A team member behind him tensed, raising his weapon.

Zhang Ji’s expression changed. He abruptly stopped, raising a clenched fist to signal everyone to halt: ”No! Not an earthquake! It’s tremors caused by a large number of creatures running! Everyone, be on alert! Prepare for engagement!”

No sooner had his warning fallen than the sound of sickening glass shattering and walls collapsing suddenly erupted from the relatively intact cluster of buildings ahead!

The next moment, countless twisted, grotesque figures surged out from every door, window, and even broken walls like a breached dam! These were the Monkey God Cultists, driven completely mad after their spiritual essence was excessively drained!

They could barely be called ”human” anymore—some scuttled with reverse-jointed limbs, as fast as hounds; others had bodies swollen several times their size, skin cracking and oozing pus.

Some had split skulls, extending tentacle-like mouthparts... They let out roars mixed with pain and madness, their scarlet eyes filled only with the desire to destroy everything, launching suicidal charges at the Investigation Bureau’s special operations members!

”Fire! Free fire!” Zhang Ji roared, his twin blades crossing, instantly cleaving a clawed monster that lunged at him into two!

”Dadadada—!”

The special weapons in the hands of each team immediately spewed fire, energy beams, demon-breaking bullets, and high-voltage electric nets all shot towards the tide of monsters.

The monsters at the very front immediately fell in droves, but more monsters trampled over their companions’ corpses, surging forward fearlessly! Their numbers far exceeded estimates, seemingly endless!

The battle instantly escalated to a fever pitch!

The special operations members formed a makeshift defensive line using the ruins and armored vehicles, desperately resisting the onslaught of the frenzied monsters.

Zhang Ji, like a bolt of lightning, charged back and forth across the front line, severed limbs and broken arms flying wherever his electric blades passed!

However, the sheer number of monsters was overwhelming, and there seemed to be some even stronger, more grotesque individuals mixed among them, causing the defensive line to come under immense pressure.

Seeing the sudden increase in pressure on the defense line, Zhang Ji no longer held back. With a low roar, his combat suit on his back suddenly ripped, revealing dense, honeycomb-like, strange patterns beneath his skin!

”Chila—!”

Accompanied by a sound like tearing leather, six pairs of almost transparent insect wings burst from his back, vibrating rapidly and emitting a high-pitched hum.

His eyes instantly transformed into compound eyes, countless hexagonal grids reflecting the chaotic scene of the entire battlefield.

”Swarm! Annihilate them!” Zhang Ji’s voice carried a strange, buzzing resonance.

Countless rice-grain-sized micro-venomous bees, their tails flashing with a faint blue toxic glow, poured out frantically from the honeycomb pores on his back, swarming towards the approaching tide of monsters like a dark cloud!

”Puchi! Puchi!”

The venomous bees accurately stung the monsters’ weak points, such as their eyes and joints.

The struck monsters let out shrill screams, their bodies rapidly swelling as if inflated, then exploded with a ”bang,” splattering corrosive venom and shredded flesh!

But there were simply too many monsters, and they were too frenzied; they knew no fear. Many venomous bees were also torn apart by monster claws, bitten to pieces by their mouthparts, falling like raindrops.

Zhang Ji himself wielded his high-frequency electric blades, transforming into a blue-white lightning bolt, charging back and forth across the front line.

His twin blades cut through intricate trajectories, each strike precisely severing monster tendons or joints, sending severed limbs and foul blood splashing everywhere!

”captain’s going all out! Let’s go too!” Little Wang roared, his eyes glowing green from the injected Wolf UMA Gene Serum, his fingernails becoming sharp and keen, his speed and strength soaring. With one claw, he smashed the head of an incoming lizard-like monster!

Little Zhang and several other team members also activated their various UMA gene abilities—some had their skin petrify and harden, pushing forward despite monster bites.

Others had their arms mutate into mantis-like blade arms, swinging out deadly cold light, while some spat out highly paralyzing mucus... The sudden burst of power from the special operations members temporarily stabilized the defensive line, holding the tide of monsters firmly outside the ruins.

Just as the battle was in a stalemate, two figures suddenly leaped high from the cluster of buildings, slamming into the center of the battlefield like cannonballs!

”Boom! Boom!”

Two deep craters were formed in the ground. As the smoke and dust cleared, two men in Monkey God Sect black robes with gold patterns were revealed. Eerie psionic fluctuations surrounded them, clearly distinguishing them from the mere fodder.

”Ignorant Zhina people...” The Eight-Character Beard man on the left sneered in broken Chinese, his eyes full of disdain, ”You have no idea what you’re up against!”

Zhang Ji crossed his twin blades, cleaving two charging monsters into four pieces, then looked up at the two men. He heard the familiar Japanese accent.

”Indeed, wanu! Committing such heinous, unforgivable, and detestable acts on my glorious Chinese land!”

”Baka!”

”You inferior race will never understand the greatness of the true god.”

The man with the Small Braid on the right was enraged by these words, veins bulging on his forehead, ”When the Monkey God descends, our Great Japanese Empire will surely regain its glory!”

”Regain glory?” Zhang Ji scoffed, his bee wings vibrating at high speed, surrounded by a swarm of venomous bees. ”With you rats hiding in dark corners performing cult rituals? And ’inferior race’? You wanu aren’t even as tall as our scallions, probably not even human anymore.”

The Eight-Character Beard man stopped talking nonsense, forming hand seals and chanting obscure incantations. His skin rapidly took on a metallic sheen, and his entire body swelled as if cast from bronze and iron!

The man with the Small Braid drew a grotesquely shaped katana from his back. Black mist coiled around the blade, and faintly visible, countless twisted human faces wailed within it!
