I Created a Containment Object at the Start, and Became a God

9: Sacrifice! Containment!Lin Zhi curled his lip in disgust, his slender fingers waving gently in front of his nose: ”So ugly.”

He glanced at the foul-smelling drool dripping incessantly from the Kobold, elegantly took a step back, and his figure instantly reappeared beside the two Monkey God Cultists.

”Ah!” The skinny Monkey God Cultist shuddered in fright.

The Giant Man was even more rigid, his breathing stalling—this ”Divine Master’s” ability to come and go without a trace was exactly like the deity described in the sacrifice!

Lin Zhi examined their enhanced bodies with great interest and asked in his mind: ”System, can these two, catalyzed by potions, be contained?”

”Tsk, what a pity.” Lin Zhi shook his head regretfully, his black robe billowing like the night as he turned around. ”Handle it yourself.”

”Thank you for your grace, Master!” A fierce light surged in Bai Hu’s eyes, and the human faces on his fleshy wings let out bloodthirsty roars simultaneously. Before the two cultists could beg for mercy, he had already pounced like a ferocious tiger—

”No! Divine Master, spare us! We are willing—” ”Ahhh!!”

Amidst the screams, Bai Hu’s sharp teeth precisely severed the skinny cultist’s throat.

The bodies that had been injected with the Holy Blood potion were indeed extraordinary; the scalding blood contained rich energy, making every muscle in Bai Hu’s body tremble with excitement.

The Giant Man struggled to escape, but his spine was shattered by a single claw, and his chest was immediately torn open.

Lin Zhi turned his back on the bloody feeding scene and walked slowly toward the iron cage.

The Kobold in the cage had curled into a ball, its six eyes rolling in terror.

When Lin Zhi’s fingers touched the iron bars again, it suddenly let out a whimpering sound of supplication, and its massive body actually began to shrink...

Finally, what appeared in the cage was a little girl of about seven or eight years old, curled up in the corner of the cage, shivering.

But unlike before—she had a pair of fluffy dog ears on the top of her head, and a grayish-black tail hung behind her.

”Oh? Playing the victim?” Lin Zhi raised an eyebrow slightly.

A satisfied arc curved at the corners of Lin Zhi’s lips.

Bai Hu licked the blood from the corner of his mouth with satisfaction, his muscles bulging as if inflated. He looked down at his sharp claws, which shimmered with a metallic luster, his eyes flashing with excitement.

”Roar—” A roar full of power burst involuntarily from the depths of his throat. He turned to look at Lin Zhi’s back, his eyes filled with devotion and awe.

”All of this was bestowed by the Master...” Bai Hu thought to himself, and the human faces on his wings all showed expressions of gratitude. If he hadn’t met the Master, he would have sooner or later become a test subject for these cultists.

He hurried behind Lin Zhi, knelt on one knee, and lowered his head respectfully: ”Master, your subordinate has finished dealing with it.”

Lin Zhi didn’t even turn his head, just casually raised his hand to signal him to rise: ”Contain this Kobold.”

”Understood!” Bai Hu replied immediately and turned toward the iron cage.

Just then, Lin Zhi’s figure suddenly vanished from where he stood, and the next second he appeared beside an old wooden table, on which lay many weapons.

Lin Zhi’s slender fingers gently stroked the body of an F2000 rifle; the cold metallic touch reminded him of an introduction he had seen in a military magazine in his past life.

He skillfully checked the magazine and pulled the bolt, his movements smooth and fluid.

With a soft ”click,” he suddenly noticed a slight movement in the corner.

The middle-aged man wearing glasses was curled up behind a dumpster, peeking over from time to time, muttering neurotically: ”Can’t see me... can’t see me...” Behind him, three ragged homeless people were hiding, all shaking like leaves.

Lin Zhi chuckled and casually placed the rifle back on the table. The sound of the firearm hitting the table made those people jump.

”Go.” He said without looking up, his voice not loud but clearly reaching the corner, ”There’s nothing here for you anymore.”

The man with glasses felt as if he had been granted amnesty, scrambling and crawling toward the exit, even falling down along the way.

The other three also scrambled to escape toward the exit, one of them even knocking over a trash can in their panic.

Bai Hu’s sharp claws easily tore through the iron cage; the metal bars were as fragile as paper in his hands. The Kobold retreated in terror, its six blood-red eyes rolling frantically, before finally baring its hideous fangs and lunging at Bai Hu’s throat!

”Seeking death!”

Bai Hu’s fist struck first despite launching later, slamming heavily onto the Kobold’s bridge of the nose. Amidst the crisp sound of shattering bone, the Kobold howled and flew backward, hitting the wall and sliding down.

”Is that all you’ve got?” Bai Hu grinned and stepped forward, grabbing the mane on the back of the Kobold’s neck and dragging it out like a dead dog. ”Weren’t you very imposing when you ate my brother?”

Fists fell like raindrops, each blow accompanied by the dull thud of shattering bone. The Kobold could struggle at first, but soon it went limp like a rag doll, vomiting black blood from its mouth.

Just as Bai Hu raised his fist for the final blow, the Kobold’s body suddenly twisted strangely—

The grayish-black fur receded, the hideous dog head shrank, and in the blink of an eye, it transformed into the appearance of a delicate youth. The youth had blood at the corner of his mouth and opened his eyes weakly: ”Bro... Brother...”

Bai Hu’s fist froze abruptly in mid-air.

That voice, those eyebrows and eyes... it was clearly the appearance of his younger brother, Bai Yu, before he died!

”Li... Little Yu?” Bai Hu’s voice began to tremble, and his raised fist loosened unconsciously.

Lin Zhi stood not far away, observing this scene with great interest, wanting to see how his newly acquired servant would choose.

The Kobold—now it should be called ”Bai Yu”—struggled to prop itself up, tears in its eyes: ”Brother... it’s me... I’m in so much pain...”

It perfectly replicated the expression of Bai Yu before his death, even the trembling in the voice was exactly the same.

Bai Hu’s fleshy wings flapped uneasily, and the human faces on them all wore expressions of pain.

His fists clenched and unclenched, a glimmer of struggle flashing in his eyes.

But soon, Bai Hu’s pupils contracted sharply, and the struggle in his eyes instantly turned into monstrous rage.

The human faces on his wings let out shrill shrieks simultaneously, and the entire abandoned factory trembled in the sound waves.

”You ate my brother—” His voice sounded as if it came from the depths of hell, ”And you dare to use his appearance to beg for mercy?!”

”Crack!”

His sharp claws clamped onto the Kobold’s chin, tearing it off forcefully. Black blood splattered onto Bai Hu’s hideous face, but he seemed not to notice.

Lin Zhi waved his hand, and the jawbone with the fangs turned into a streak of black light and disappeared into his sleeve.

Bai Hu’s revenge was far from over. He swung the Kobold up like a madman and slammed it heavily onto the ground.

Each impact caused the concrete floor to crack with spiderweb-like fissures, the Kobold’s limbs twisting at eerie angles, emitting discordant whimpers.

When the Kobold had turned into a pile of mangled flesh, Bai Hu finally stopped, panting heavily.

”Master...” He knelt on one knee, his voice hoarse.

Lin Zhi walked over slowly: ”Look at your palm.”

Bai Hu looked down and discovered that a pitch-black vortex had appeared in his palm at some point, slowly rotating like a miniature black hole.

Just by staring at it, he had the illusion that his soul was about to be sucked away.

”Use this to sacrifice it to me.” Lin Zhi’s voice carried an unquestionable command.

Bai Hu grabbed the dying Kobold without hesitation and pressed it toward the black hole in his palm.

A hair-raising scene appeared—the Kobold’s body began to twist and stretch, like dough being kneaded by an invisible giant hand, eventually turning into a streak of black light and being completely swallowed by the black hole.
