I Created a Containment Object at the Start, and Became a God

46: Has God descended?(Just a note: the protagonist has many aliases and nicknames, which are merely honorifics used by humans to address a god. You just need to be aware of this; there will be fewer such instances later.)

Wang Jin’s figure shifted slightly, his arm blade once again raising a dark golden glint, poised to strike.

The One-Eyed Man was scared out of his wits, no longer caring about dignity, and pleaded hoarsely, “Mercy! Spare me! I’ll agree to any condition!”

Seeing Wang Jin’s movements remain unhindered, the blade still descending, he closed his eyes in despair and shrieked, “Kill me! The Monkey God will surely sense it! He has descended to the human world! You won’t escape!”

The expected sharp pain did not arrive.

The One-Eyed Man trembled as he opened his eyes, only to see the arm blade, emanating an aura of destruction, suspended one centimeter from his glabella, its sharp chill stinging his skin.

Wang Jin retracted his blade and stood, streams of light flickering in his pupils, as if he was rapidly thinking and weighing options, or perhaps listening.

A moment later, he asked in a deep voice, “You said your God… has already descended to the human world?”

“Yes! Yes! Absolutely true!” The One-Eyed Man seemed to have been granted a great pardon, nodding frantically, and then tried to seize the opportunity to threaten a few more words, “If you harm me, God will certainly…”

“Slap!”

A heavy slap sent all his unfinished words back down his throat.

The One-Eyed Man was dizzy from the blow, several teeth mixed with blood foam flying out. Wang Jin’s voice was as cold as iron: “I ask, you answer. Say one more unnecessary word, and I’ll break one of your legs.”

The One-Eyed Man covered his face and nodded in terror, no longer daring to utter a single unnecessary word.

Wang Jin’s Punishment Eye slightly contracted, revealing a hint of confusion: “To my knowledge, there is a powerful restriction in the current world; true ‘deities’ cannot directly descend. How did you manage it?”

The One-Eyed Man covered his face, hurriedly and indistinctly replying, “The specific… the specific principle, we are not entirely clear about… but the three Great Priests of the sect presided over the descent ritual.

The three Monkey Gods have indeed successfully descended… by, by making a chosen holy woman pregnant…”

In the dimensional space, Lin Zhi, who had been quietly observing, showed a hint of surprise in his eyes upon hearing this, “Incarnation?”

He muttered to himself, “To actually use such a clever method to bypass the seal of the current world’s laws…” He knew well that the human world was sealed by a powerful unknown force, making it difficult for true deities to manifest directly.

“System,” Lin Zhi quickly asked in his mind, “This method of incarnation must have major flaws, right?”

[Analyzing divine incarnation… ]

[Conclusion: This method has a core flaw]

[Deities born through mortal flesh must abide by the mortal laws of birth, old age, sickness, and death]

[The fetal shell is a natural seal, compressing infinite divinity into a finite mortal body]

[If the incarnation process fails, or if the incarnated body is killed before it grows, its divine fragments will be completely bound by the mortal body and unable to automatically return to the divine realm]

[This means that the deity is effectively truly killed, facing the risk of complete demise]

Lin Zhi’s lips curved into a cold smile: “So that’s it… a high-risk, high-reward gamble. It seems this Monkey God is in a hurry.”

His gaze turned towards the direction of the Monkey God Sect altar, greed flashing in his eyes: “So… now is the most vulnerable time?”

At the same time, Wang Jin also received the brief information transmitted by Lin Zhi through their mental link.

His gaze towards the One-Eyed Man grew even colder: “So it’s a god trapped in a cage… Tell me the descent location and the information about that Mother Body.”

Under the pressure of the Punishment Eye, the One-Eyed Man dared not conceal anything, trembling as he recounted everything he knew.

After learning the specific coordinates and the Mother Body’s information, Wang Jin’s arm blade suddenly swung down without warning.

A flash of sharpness, and the One-Eyed Man’s head rolled to the ground, an expression of disbelief still frozen on his face.

“Why… why…” his lingering consciousness uttered its final question.

Wang Jin watched indifferently as the Punishment Eye devoured the opponent’s soul: “I never promised not to kill you.”

In the dimensional space, Lin Zhi received the information from Wang Jin, his breathing slightly quickening.

A true god descended to the world, yet in its most vulnerable state! This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“System,” he asked, suppressing his excitement, “Can a ‘descended deity’ in this state be contained?”

[Analyzing… ]

[Conclusion: Can be contained]

[The descended deity is bound by mortal flesh, and its divinity is in an unawakened state]

[Recommendation: Proceed with containment]

[Special Note: Successfully containing an entity with divine essence will have a chance to seize some of its authority]

“Seizing divine authority…” Lin Zhi’s eyes blazed with fervent light; this was far more tempting than harvesting ordinary spiritual essence!

At this moment, the distant sound of police sirens seemed close to his extraordinary hearing.

Wang Jin knew it was not advisable to stay here long and was about to leave when he received a direct instruction from Lin Zhi in his mind: reveal the information and location of the Monkey God’s incarnation to the Investigation Bureau.

Wang Jin immediately understood the intention of the “Myriad Words Devourer”—this was to use the Investigation Bureau to further muddy the waters, and even potentially use them to attack the Monkey God Sect’s main altar, thereby creating more favorable conditions for the final harvest.

He deftly carved a line of clear coordinate information onto the blood-stained wall with his fingertip.

“The Monkey God has incarnated, the Mother Body is located in Longcheng, Qingshi Mountain, in the abandoned urban area. The Dome watches everything.”

After completing all this, his figure quietly disappeared as if melting into the shadows, leaving only chaos and gradually cooling corpses in the basement.

Soon after, a large number of police officers arrived and completely sealed off the scene.

Piercing police sirens cut through the night sky, and flashing red and blue lights illuminated the area as if it were daytime.

Criminal captain Zhao Yongqiang led his team in first, and even he, with his extensive experience, was shocked by the gruesome scene in the basement.

Soon, Zhang Ji of the Bureau of Anomalous Affairs Investigation and his team also arrived at the scene.

They wore specialized combat suits, their Ω symbols flickering under the police lights.

Zhang Ji’s gaze sharply scanned the entire space; the precisely dismembered limbs and the eerily blue-glowing blood all indicated that an extraordinary conflict had taken place here.

“captain Zhang, a discovery here!” The voice of team member Xiao Wang came from a corner; he was wearing rubber gloves and pointing to the newly discovered carving on the wall.

Zhang Ji’s gaze was fixed on the blood-stained characters on the wall.

“Monkey God… The Dome…” he repeated the two words in a low voice, his expression growing more solemn.

But what shocked him most was the phrase, “The Monkey God has incarnated.”

—A god, descended?

As a senior special agent of the Investigation Bureau, he knew better than anyone what this meant.

Thirteen years ago in Han Country, the “White Fog Incident” that almost destroyed half the nation was due to the awakening of a terrifying entity. And this time… was it a true deity descending?

“We must report to Headquarters immediately.” Zhang Ji’s voice was tight, “If the news is true, the entire Longcheng… no, the entire Dragon Nation could face annihilation.”
