The World's Richest Man: Start with the Daily Intelligence System

98: Chapter 98 Establishing a CompanyZhang Wei was also quite happy. In fact, what mattered in this treasure hunt was the process of searching; the final treasure itself wasn’t particularly important.

Zhang Wei put the stamps away. This was a meaningful collectible, and Zhang Wei had no intention of selling it.

He and An Xiaoxi got another free lunch out of Yu Hongtao before returning to Jiangnan Garden.

On the way, Zhang Wei asked An Xiaoxi, ”What are you planning to do this afternoon?”

”I’m going to watch a talk show with Sister Jiayan this afternoon. I heard it’s really interesting,” An Xiaoxi replied happily.

Zhang Wei felt a bit jealous hearing this. ”How long have you two known each other, and you’re already calling her ’Sister Jiayan’ this and ’Sister Jiayan’ that? Come on, call me ’Brother Zhang Wei’ so I can hear it.”

An Xiaoxi said crossly, ”Sister Jiayan has had a miserable time being marginalized by her company lately. Don’t add to the trouble.”

Zhang Wei asked curiously, ”Marginalized by the company? Hasn’t that fat pig named Wang-something already been hauled away by the Police Officers? Does someone still dare to marginalize her?”

As soon as he asked, Zhang Wei slapped his forehead. He hadn’t realized earlier that Wang Jiahao was, after all, the chairman’s nephew. Even if that guy was already serving time, Chen Jiayan’s colleagues would still distance themselves and marginalize her.

”Sister Jiayan is a strong woman. If her career hit a snag because she didn’t work hard enough, she would just do better next time. But if it’s due to external factors like factional infighting... it’s more painful for her than being killed.” An Xiaoxi felt a pang of sympathy thinking about Chen Jiayan’s forced smiles over the past few days.

Zhang Wei thought for a long time. He now had over twenty million in his account, ten million of which was invested in the stock market. According to the intel, he would sell ”Yaoji Shares” at 30 yuan per share after three consecutive days of hitting the limit-up price. He could make a net profit of over ten million. Leaving this money in the account to earn interest was a very unwise choice.

”Maybe we can help her. You two go straight home after the show. I’ll have a chat with her,” Zhang Wei said.

An Xiaoxi’s eyes lit up upon hearing this. ”Are you going to help her? If that’s the case, I won’t go to the talk show. I’ll just invite her over to the house.”

This little girl had never been that good to him. The jealousy Zhang Wei had just suppressed welled up again, turning him into a total lemon.

”Forget it then. I’m not that close to her anyway. I’ve been busy enough lately,” Zhang Wei said with an air of indifference.

An Xiaoxi started acting cute and wheedling until he finally relented.

Half an hour later, on the living room sofa, Zhang Wei smiled and said to Chen Jiayan, ”I heard your group has been targeting you lately, so I’ll get straight to the point. Manager Chen’s ability is beyond doubt. Have you considered partnering up to start a jewelry brand?”

Chen Jiayan thought for a moment and said solemnly, ”My biggest dream in life is to have my own jewelry brand. But that’s no easy task. First, jewelry sales are slow, which requires a lot of tied-up capital. Second, it requires a lot of promotion and marketing to get consumers to identify with and trust the brand.”

”It’s a long and extremely money-burning process. That’s why many small jewelry companies can’t survive.”

Zhang Wei thought about it. Sun Yicheng’s gym needed five or six million, and the rest didn’t have a clear use for now.

”I can currently invest twenty million. Although the capital isn’t much, my idea is to start with an online brand. We’ll target a mass-market brand like Shihuahuoshiqi.”

Zhang Wei continued, ”We can involve An Xiaoxi and Liu Horui. An Xiaoxi will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the online store and big data pushing, while Liu Horui can handle advertising and live-stream sales. Once the brand becomes famous and generates profit, I can even cooperate with giants like Zhu Group and Xuzhou Heavy Industries to set up offline flagship stores in Location and the Jiangsu region. You will be the main person in charge, taking on the heavy responsibility of operation and management. I believe that with everyone’s hard work, we can definitely make this brand a success.”

”Twenty million isn’t much, but starting as an online brand is just barely enough.” Chen Jiayan listened to Zhang Wei’s advice very seriously.

An Xiaoxi raised both hands from the side. ”I have over two million there that I can invest too.”

At this point, Chen Jiayan, Zhang Wei, and An Xiaoxi had been discussing for a while. The door opened, and Liu Horui rushed in hurriedly.

”Old Liu, you’re just in time. We were just discussing starting a brand-new jewelry brand. Do you want in?”

Liu Horui patted his chest. ”How can I be left out of something like this? I’ll put in however much An Xiaoxi puts in. With all of us together, are we afraid we won’t get things done?”

Although Zhang Wei had long known Liu Horui would say that, he was still deeply moved. The three of them weren’t blood-related, but they were as close as family. This was also why Zhang Wei would still share money with him, even though Liu Horui was only responsible for emergencies in the previous few operations and hadn’t been of much practical use.

When your own brothers are working hard with you, how can it be the same as a regular employment relationship?

Chen Jiayan smiled and said, ”I’ve also saved up some money over the years. I can come up with two million. Count me in.”

Zhang Wei nodded and called Zhu Pengfei to ask if he wanted to join. As it turned out, this nouveau riche only heard a few sentences before saying Zhang Wei could just decide for him for anything under ten million. If it wasn’t enough, he’d ask his family for more. Zhang Wei was deeply touched.

After discussion, Zhang Wei made a preliminary plan and introduced it to everyone: ”Currently, the company is divided like this: I’ll contribute twenty million for a 50% stake. Other than being the chairman, I won’t be responsible for other matters. An Xiaoxi and Liu Horui will each invest 2 million for a 10% stake each, responsible for online matters and promotional live-stream sales respectively. This counts as a technical stake. There will be additional profit commissions based on sales later on.”

”Chen Jiayan will invest 2 million for a 10% stake and be appointed as the company’s General Manager, responsible for a series of operational matters. Her salary will be 80,000 a month separately. Once the company makes money, it will increase by a certain percentage every year.”

”As for Zhu Pengfei, he’ll invest five million for a 10% stake. He won’t hold a position. The remaining 10% will be reserved as rewards for future management.”

Zhang Wei looked around at everyone and smiled. ”If there are no issues, it’s settled. Manager Chen—no, Jiayan, you start getting the company registration going. Then we can inject the capital and immediately start hiring talent to build the team.”

Liu Horui said exaggeratedly from the side, ”Sister Chen, I’m counting on you to make money. This is my entire net worth, originally intended for buying a house back in my hometown to get married.”

Zhang Wei added, ”Me too. I was originally going to save up for a luxury mansion. Now it’s all in the company. Jiayan, if you don’t pull through, I’ll go straight into bankruptcy.”

”Stop it. Uncle Zhu just gave you a river-view luxury mansion a few days ago. Why are you crying poverty?” An Xiaoxi rolled her eyes and teased him.

It was the first time starting a business for several of them, and they were all excited. They simply began discussing specific details. Zhang Wei felt it was better to take the civilian route, focusing on colored gemstones and crystal jewelry.

Why was Shihuahuoshiqi successful? They don’t sell real precious metals, but they’ve won the love of countless young women with their excellent designs and affordable prices.

Ordinary people might only have a few pieces of gold jewelry in their lives. But with crystal necklaces, they can change them every day without repeating a style.
