“Dali, what’s wrong!?” Just as he finished shouting, before he even had the time to put on his clothes, his mother Lan Ruoxi violently kicked open the door to his bedroom. Once she entered, she immediately asked anxiously, “Are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere…”

“AH!” Hong Dali unconsciously turned his body around and ended up making contact with Lan Ruoxi’s caring eyes. He instantly felt his entire body going cold, then violently covered his little stick. “Mum, it’s, it’s nothing…”

“Don’t move!” Lan Ruoxi eyes lit up, stepped forward, and slapped his hands away. “Quickly, let Mum see!”

Five seconds later, Lan Ruoxi teared up. “My house’s little prodigal has finally become a grown man. Good, very good!”

“Mum you, can you let me put on my clothes first…” Hong Dali put on a bitter face. “Even if I don’t put on the shirt, at least let me put on my pants… it’s quite embarrassing to be looked at by you like this…”

“You little rascal!” Lan Ruoxi’s face laughed until it looked like a flower. “I’m your own mother, which children are afraid to be looked at by their mother?”

Saying so, Lan Ruoxi violently rubbed her eyes. “Ah, my house’s little prodigal has become a grown up now. I have to quickly search for a lady for you and get ready to carry my grandchild. En, I will not accept it if that lass Tang Muxin wants to renege on the wedding now! She’s very good looking, my house’s little prodigal isn’t bad looking either. Next time, when she bears a child, the child will definitely be very pretty!”

One wasn’t enough for her, Lan Ruoxi continued mumbling, “That Lady Lan Ruoxi is not bad too. I have done my research. Her background is clear, and her virtues are good too. She also treats my house’s little prodigal very well, and she’s quite gentle. We shall take her in too, she will definitely be protective of you in the future! Being able to cook and also suitable to bring out to meet outsiders, she will be a good daughter-in-law. Now, her net worth is also just able to be comparable to you too!”

Hong Dali: “…” This was definitely my own biological mother, wasn’t it!

Lan Ruoxi still wasn’t satisfied. “Two isn’t enough, our family is still too small. Next time, I shall look out for a few more for you! Ah, carrying a grandchild, no wonder I kept having dreams about Dragons and Phoenixes nowadays. At first, I wondered what it was about, but now, it looks like it was our house’s little prodigal asking me to get ready to carry my grandchildren! Yup, if it’s a boy, he shall be named Hong Juli. If it’s a girl, girl…” Saying so, Lan Ruoxi looked at Hong Dali. “Dali, what do you think we should name the child if it’s a girl?”

Hong Dali: “…”

Lan Ruoxi continued to talk to herself in excitement. “Yup, you’re still studying now. It is unlikely for the school to allow you to be married now… but fear not, if that old principle dares to show any signs of objection, I will break his legs! Dali, rest assured, Mum will pave the path for you! You just need to find a few more ladies for me and bear some more children! By that time, I shall carry one in each of my arms, and your Dad will carry two on his back, only then can it be considered our family population being prosperous!”

Saying so, Lan Ruoxi smiled as if she were a demon from the abyss. “Dali, work hard!”

“…” What am I supposed to work hard for, my god, I am only 18 this year, OK!?Hong Dali hurriedly said, “Mum, I haven’t put on my pants yet…”

“Oh my, what’s my house’s little prodigal blushing for?” Lan Ruoxi laughed loudly. She hummed to herself as she walked out. “Oh dear, I’m really happy today. Dear, Dear! Come here quick, good news, there’s good news for you!”

Hong Weiguo’s head probed out from the study room. “What’s the good news that caused you to be in such a fuss. I haven’t finished writing the prospectus for my project yet. This is a project worth several hundreds of millions, I can’t joke about this.”

“Even if it is worth billions, you must still come up here right now!” Lan Ruoxi stood with her arms akimbo, with the air of an old Empress. “If you don’t get here within one minute, I will tear your prospectus into pieces!”

“OK, OK, OK, I’m coming now!” Hong Weiguo mumbled to himself as he went up the stairs. “What could be so urgent, you ain’t like this usually…”

One minute later.

Hong Weiguo’s eyes almost popped out from its sockets. “Are you serious? You said that Dali has really become an adult? His illness has recovered!?”

“Would I lie to you on this matter!?” Lan Ruoxi’s mood was excellent. While drinking tea, she was also humming to herself. “Oh my, this time, we can finally have a grandchild to hug. I have longed for it every day and night. Dear, if it’s a boy, do you think it’s fine to name him Hong Juli? I think this name is not bad. Dali, Juli 1 , they’re quite a match.”

“No, no.” Hong Weiguo excitedly walked around in circles. “Hong Juli, this name seems to be snatching the limelight from Dali, this won’t do. Those who don’t know will think that Juli is Dali’s father, that definitely won’t do.”

He thought for half a day and suddenly stopped. He touched his chin and said, “The son of our Dali, he definitely has to be more domineering. Weren’t you dreaming about Dragons and Phoenixes these past two days, then let’s name him Hong Dalong 2 ! This name is domineering and mighty!”

Lan Ruoxi’s eyes immediately lit up. “That’s a good name. What if he has two children?”

“Hong Erlong 3 !” Hong Weiguo didn’t even pause to think. “If there’s a third one, then he is Hong Sanlong 4 !”

Lan Ruoxi laughed until she bent over. “You old rogue. Yup, in my opinion, the youngest grandchild shall be named Hong Dachui! This film Unexpectedly! that our child firmed was quite interesting. The youngest grandchild shall be named Hong Dachui, and his nickname Chuichui, not bad! If it’s a granddaughter, the first one will be named Hong Dafeng! The second Hong Erfeng! As for the youngest… what shall we name the youngest?”

Hong Weiguo excitedly said, “The youngest granddaughter shall be named Hong Xiaofeng 5 !”

“OK, I shall listen to you!” Lan Ruoxi excitedly said, “Wait, Dear, quickly think and see if there’s any girl who’s comparable with our Dali. She must be pretty. If she’s not pretty, then don’t consider her! Our Dali is so outstanding and so handsome, we can’t let him feel any grievance.” She was indeed Hong Dali’s biological mother, a person who was a prodigal in the mouth of others was “outstanding” coming from her mouth.

“Wait, let me think!” Hong Weiguo started walking in circles again. “That lass from the Wang Family, her age is about the same as Dali, but her looks can’t make it. Rejected! Yup, the one from the Liu Family, she’s only seven now; slightly young. Next time, I shall mention it to him and wait out a few years again, then see. The one from the Meng Family—no, no, her temper is too short, and she likes to hit others. Our Dali can’t be made to stand family violence. The one from the Hu Family? How old is that lass again?”

Lan Ruoxi: “16?”

“16, the age is fine.” Hong Weiguo touched his chin. “But I haven’t seen her for a few years. I’m not sure if she has grown pretty or ugly. I will get a picture of her from her father. As for that lass Muxin and Li Nianwei, I think both of them are not bad, let Dali take in both of them. Although Li Nianwei’s family background is slightly poor, she is pretty and has a good temper. If Dali has such a big sister to care for him, that would be quite good too. I don’t mind, anyway. A female three years older is worth a gold bar 6 . She’s in the fourth year in university now, that means she’s worth two gold bars, not bad.”

“OK, I also think that both of them are fine too.” Lan Ruoxi thought for a while and suddenly asked, “Oh right, what was the name of that lass from the Lin Family? Chuyin? I heard she’s quite pretty, why not her?”

Once she mentioned Lin Chuyin, Hong Weiguo decisively shook his head. “That lass is out of the question. She’s like a tiger, I fear that Dali will be at the losing end if he faces her. That lass doesn’t have any genes for emotion, she may fall-out with us at any moment. She hasn’t smiled once in her entire life. Old Lin is more worried about her now than I am. Let’s not consider her for now. Oh my, in the end, there’s still only the two of them. This isn’t enough at all!”

Lan Ruoxi laughed till she bent over and said, “OK, OK, we’re just seeking some happiness. If Dali really took in so many ladies, wouldn’t that be ** 7 ?”

Hong Weiguo squatted down and smoked, laughing at the same time. “That’s true. Alright then. I shall give all the maids a red packet today, 10,000 yuan each, to add to the happy atmosphere! Oh my, I have waited for this day for 18 years. Now, it has finally arrived, that wasn’t easy at all…” As he spoke, he suddenly said, “Why is this smoke so choking, heh heh…”
