Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

99: An air-to-air missile with the power of half a little boyAt this moment, Eagle Country’s military satellites were still brazenly monitoring over Huaxia’s Mountain City.

“Sir, Huaxia’s Aerospace Fighter just took off. We have currently lost the target.”

Even with over a dozen military satellites continuously tracking the Aerospace Fighter, they couldn’t capture it after it took off.

“Immediately notify the surrounding bases to launch reconnaissance planes and see if they can locate Huaxia’s Aerospace Fighter.”

The officer immediately had people call the major military bases near Huaxia.

Upon receiving the news, the various bases launched reconnaissance planes, circling Huaxia to search for the Aerospace Fighter.

Just then...

The Aerospace Fighter, which Eagle Country was expending great effort to search for, had already appeared not far from one of Eagle Country’s military satellites.

Looking at the Eagle Country military satellite in front of him, Hong Bo revealed a mischievous smile, “Goodbye!”

Hong Bo disengaged the safety, pressed the fire button, and the Aerospace Fighter’s two laser cannons instantly vaporized the military satellite in front of him.

“Huh, why did this satellite lose contact?” At this moment, the operator responsible for this satellite was dumbfounded, looking at the screen filled with static.

After attempting to reconnect to the military satellite and failing, the operator immediately reported the incident.

However, it did not attract too much attention. The engineers thought it was likely due to the satellite having worked for over a decade, causing it to temporarily lose contact with the ground.

It might be fine after some time; this scene had played out many times with old satellites.

The officer in charge of this operation also didn’t take it to heart; after all, there were still over a dozen satellites monitoring Mountain City, so one less wouldn’t matter.

In Space.

“Next.”

After destroying this one, Hong Bo proceeded to the location of the next Eagle Country military satellite, according to the data provided by the ground base.

“Next.”

“And the next.”

...Hong Bo, alone in Space, piloted the Aerospace Fighter, destroying Eagle Country’s military satellites one after another, enjoying himself immensely.

Meanwhile, the ground in Eagle Country was in chaos.

They watched as one satellite after another lost contact. It was understandable if old satellites lost contact, but new satellites that had just entered orbit and started working also went offline.

This left everyone completely bewildered.

The loss of over a dozen military satellites, especially those monitoring the important target of Huaxia’s Mountain City...

The news reached Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu immediately.

“What?!”

“Over a dozen military satellites have lost contact one after another? Is the quality of the satellites poor?”

Trump immediately suspected that the Eagle Country Aerospace Administration had cut corners, leading to poor quality military satellites.

“Yes, Boss.”

“We just inquired with the experts at the Aerospace Administration, and they said it’s impossible for it to be a quality issue with the military satellites.”

“They said it’s very likely that our military satellites encountered Space debris, and all the satellites were completely shattered into fragments.”

The secretary hurriedly explained.

“Damn it, doesn’t the Aerospace Administration detect Space debris? Why didn’t they provide a warning so the military satellites could evade in advance?”

Trump was heartbroken at this moment; over a dozen military satellites were not cheap, and the cost of sending them into their respective orbits was no small sum.

“Boss, they can only detect large fragments; small fragments are undetectable.”

“Our military satellites this time probably encountered those small fragments.”

The secretary explained on behalf of the Aerospace Administration.

“Moreover, the Aerospace Administration also said that our losses this time will be considerable. So many satellites being destroyed will definitely create a large amount of Space debris.”

“All satellites in the same orbit will need to be adjusted, which will consume a lot of fuel, and the lifespan of the satellites will be greatly reduced.”

The secretary’s words were like a steel knife piercing into Trump’s heart.

The plan had just begun, and there was no news yet of finding Huaxia’s Aerospace Fighter, but he had already lost over a dozen military satellites, and the lifespan of satellites in the same orbit would be greatly reduced.

Who the hell could he complain to about this?

While the people of Eagle Country were busy adjusting their satellites to safe orbits, Hong Bo had already piloted the Aerospace Fighter safely back to base.

Capital.

“Chief, news just came from Mountain City that Hong Bo has perfectly completed his mission, and according to the information sent back by our people embedded in Eagle Country...”

“Eagle Country mistakenly believes their satellites were hit by Space debris, and now all satellites in the same orbit have consumed a large amount of fuel to increase their altitude.”

“The lifespan of Eagle Country’s satellites in this orbit will be greatly reduced.”

Elder Wang’s mouth was practically stretching to the back of his head with a smile.

“Hahaha!”

The Top Leader even slapped the table and laughed heartily. He never expected that having Hong Bo destroy these Eagle Country military satellites monitoring Mountain City...

Would actually lead to Eagle Country creating such a situation. The Top Leader truly wanted to go and ridicule Eagle Country properly.

“Eagle Country truly lives up to its name, always pulling off unexpected moves,” The Top Leader laughed.

“Indeed, I was a bit worried earlier that they might suspect us.”

“But it turns out they don’t even bother to consider us.”

Elder Wang shook his head.

“Later, have people continue to monitor Eagle Country’s satellites. As long as they dare to monitor Mountain City, have Hong Bo take direct action.”

“If one comes, hit one. Let’s see how long Eagle Country can last!”

The Top Leader laughed.

“Mhm, mhm.”

Elder Wang turned and left.

At the same time.

Zhang Yuanhang had previously felt that Huaxia did not have suitable missiles for Aerospace Fighters.

So, he decided to develop new missiles himself.

Now, he had finally found inspiration. Zhang Yuanhang planned to use a Nuclear Fusion Engine, specifically a modified, smaller Nuclear Fusion Engine, as the missile’s engine.

Zhang Yuanhang had a premonition that even with a smaller Nuclear Fusion Engine, the missile he developed would easily exceed speeds of Mach 50.

The explosives would be Huaxia’s most advanced currently, and with the missile using a Nuclear Fusion Engine, its power would definitely not be small.

Zhang Yuanhang handed the design parameters to Academician Wu and others, asking them to use supercomputers to help calculate the data.

Academician Wu and others, upon receiving the final calculated data, were stunned and immediately sought out Zhang Yuanhang.

“Xiao Zhang, are you sure this is the Air-to-air Missile you designed?”

“Its power is comparable to half of a ‘Little Boy’.”

Academician Wu swallowed. If such a missile were truly built, any fighter jet locked onto by it would be directly taken out by the shockwave from its explosion, even if not directly hit.

“That’s right, this is the missile I researched. Its power is still a bit smaller than I anticipated.”

Zhang Yuanhang shook his head, saying it would be fine if its power exceeded that of a ‘Little Boy’.

Everyone present’s eyelids twitched. He still thought this power was too small?
