Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

80: A nuclear fusion engine that could change the worldThe moment Yang Aiguo stepped into the factory, he saw the 1:1 model of the Aerospace Fighter built by Zhang Yuanhang. Looking at the futuristic fighter in front of him, Yang Aiguo didn’t even blink.

The Aerospace Fighter is different from previous fighter jets; traditional fighter jets had to be designed around aerodynamics.

However, the Aerospace Fighter is different. Zhang Yuanhang’s Aerospace Fighter only flies in the atmosphere during takeoff and landing, but most of the time, it flies in Space.

The primary consideration is sturdiness, so the fighter in front of him looks much thicker than previous fighter jets.

”Can you tell me about this model?” Yang Aiguo looked around, not seeking out the busy researchers, but instead asking someone who looked like a new intern.

”Yes, Commander.”

Guan Ya looked at Yang Aiguo excitedly. Today was her fourth day working in this workshop, and she never expected to meet such an important figure, someone she had only seen on TV.

”This model is a 1:1 replica of the Aerospace Fighter. There is no difference in appearance from the actual Aerospace Fighter.”

Guan Ya introduced, pointing at the Aerospace Fighter.

”This model is seven meters high and thirty-one meters long...” Guan Ya told Yang Aiguo everything she knew.

Of course, given Guan Ya’s rank, she only knew some external data; she knew nothing else.

”This Aerospace Fighter doesn’t even conform to aerodynamics; whether it can fly is a question in itself!” a senior pilot who accompanied Yang Aiguo to Shancheng Military Base said slowly.

”Hong Bo, shut up, what nonsense are you spouting!” Yang Aiguo glared at the person he brought.

One should know that Hong Bo was one of the top test pilots in the Huaxia Air Force.

Yang Aiguo brought him this time precisely so that he could personally pilot the first Aerospace Fighter in the future. Yang Aiguo was worried that Zhang Yuanhang, who was building the Aerospace Fighter for the first time, lacked experience.

At that time, the Aerospace Fighter might encounter various problems, and with Hong Bo’s superb skills, it might be possible to save the Aerospace Fighter.

”Do you think the Mech invented by Zhang Yuanhang conforms to the aerodynamics you’re talking about?”

”It doesn’t. But the Mech still flies everywhere, doesn’t it!”

Guan Ya rolled her eyes at Hong Bo, then turned to attend to her own work.

”This...” Hong Bo was at a loss for words after Guan Ya’s retort. As Guan Ya said, the Pangu Mech completely defied aerodynamics, yet it flew purely by the power of its mighty engine—brute force flying a brick!

”Hong Bo, remember not to speak carelessly when you meet Comrade Xiao Zhang later.” Yang Aiguo reminded Hong Bo. He didn’t want Zhang Yuanhang to refuse him the test flight of the Aerospace Fighter because of Hong Bo’s mouth.

Hong Bo nodded, ”Commander, don’t worry, I won’t speak carelessly anymore. I just lost my composure a bit when I saw this Aerospace Fighter.”

Seeing Hong Bo’s sincere apology, Yang Aiguo said nothing more.

Instead, he looked at the Aerospace Fighter in front of him with a wide smile.

While Shancheng Military Base was a hive of activity.

Far across the ocean, Eagle Country held a press conference.

”Everyone, we, Eagle Country, will officially develop the Aerospace Fighter!!!”

”Following the final decision of our Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu, we, Eagle Country, will invest 100 billion US dollars into the Aerospace Fighter project.”

”We, Eagle Country, are not like some countries that are reluctant to share technology. As long as countries are willing to invest money, they can join our plan.”

... The words of the Eagle Country Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson caused all the reporters present to erupt. Eagle Country was actually going to research an Aerospace Fighter, something that only appeared in science fiction movies, capable of traveling between Blue Star and Space.

At this moment, reporters from India and Japan among the journalists were extremely excited and immediately relayed this news back to their respective countries.

They did not want their countries to miss this golden opportunity.

Looking through the one-way glass, Trump watched the reporters from India and Japan, a faint smile flashing in his eyes.

This so-called Aerospace Fighter was all a hoax, merely to appease the public.

Because Huaxia’s Pangu Mech had brought considerable shock to the people of Eagle Country, Trump came up with this Aerospace Fighter idea to stabilize public morale.

”This is great! I knew that we, Eagle Country, as the number one superpower on Blue Star, couldn’t possibly lack black technology!”

”Yes, while Huaxia is still fighting for territory on Blue Star, we, Eagle Country, have already set our sights on the vast and endless Space!”

”We, Eagle Country, are truly the number one superpower on Blue Star. I feel like I might be able to travel to Space once in my lifetime.”

... Seeing this, the people of Eagle Country, holding weapons, rushed out of their rooms, firing into the sky and celebrating loudly.

In an instant, the sense of oppression brought by the Pangu Mech vanished from the people of Eagle Country.

However, the people of Eagle Country never realized that this Aerospace Fighter was just a facade by Trump. The entire project had no money, no technology, and no personnel; it was completely a three-no product.

But Trump was not flustered at all. The money would soon be provided by India and Japan, who yearned for achievements in Space. Technology would be developed slowly, and personnel would be trained gradually.

If the Aerospace Fighter was developed during his term, that would be for the best. If it wasn’t developed during his term, Trump was still not flustered.

Because by then, all these problems would be for the next Eagle Country Leader to solve; they would have nothing to do with Trump.

Capital.

”Chief, why did Eagle Country suddenly announce they are going to build an Aerospace Fighter?”

”Could it be that an Eagle Country spy stole Comrade Xiao Zhang’s technology?”

Old Wang was very nervous. One must know that every technology of Zhang Yuanhang could revolutionize a field. If Eagle Country also obtained Zhang Yuanhang’s technology, it would be very disadvantageous for Huaxia.

”Don’t worry, our people have figured it out. This is Trump’s trick.” The Top Leader put down his teacup and said unhurriedly.

At first, he also thought Zhang Yuanhang’s technology had been leaked. Just as he was about to order a thorough investigation, the people lurking in Eagle Country sent back news.

Eagle Country had no intention of researching an Aerospace Fighter at all. This was all a deceptive tactic by Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu to stabilize public morale.

”Our people found that India and Japan, those two big suckers, have already rushed to send people to Eagle Country, planning to pay and join Eagle Country’s Aerospace Fighter plan, which has nothing yet.”

The Top Leader said with a smile.

”Hahaha!”

”Good heavens, Trump actually played this card.”

Old Wang truly couldn’t believe that the seemingly foolish Trump was so cunning.

Thinking about how the money from India and Japan would be wasted, he was overjoyed!

However excited the people of Eagle Country were now, they would be just as furious when the truth came out.

At that time, if there weren’t several large-scale protests, Old Wang wouldn’t believe it!

Shancheng Military Base.

”What!”

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, what did you just say?”

”You wouldn’t lie to us three old men, would you?”

... At this moment, Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao were all filled with shock, surrounding Zhang Yuanhang. The three trembled with excitement, as if they might collapse at any moment.

This prompted the researchers nearby to immediately call a doctor, just in case anything happened to the three Academicians.

”Everyone, I said I designed a Nuclear Fusion Engine for this Aerospace Fighter!”

Zhang Yuanhang said, word for word.
