Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

64: Mecha heads to the Mountain City GymnasiumAs countless citizens watched with eager anticipation, night gradually dissipated, and the sun began to rise.

At Shancheng Military Base, Zhang Yuanhang was already forced to get out of bed.

This time, the Mech would fly directly from Shancheng Military Base to Shancheng Gymnasium.

”Leader, won’t this be too high-profile?”

Leader Jia’s intention was to transport the Mech to Shancheng Gymnasium via heavy-duty trucks, but China’s Top Leader and Elder Wang vetoed it.

What they wanted was to showcase the Mech’s combat power; how could they keep it hidden?

”High-profile is exactly what we want. This time, we need to let all countries on Blue Star know that our China has begun its march towards the throne of Blue Star’s number one.”

Elder Wang’s eyes, like a sharp sword, looked towards Eagle Country across the ocean.

Leader Jia nodded, no longer saying anything.

At the same time, Academician Wu, two other Academicians, and their respective teams were conducting the final checks on the Mech.

They were worried that the Mech might malfunction at a crucial moment. A malfunction would be a minor issue, but considering the large number of people present, any problem could be disastrous. So, Everyone pulled Zhang Yuanhang along to help with the inspection.

Zhang Yuanhang was quite speechless about this. He had repeatedly stated that his Mech was incredibly safe, and that even if Blue Star were destroyed, his Mech would not have any problems.

Unfortunately, Academician Wu and the others simply wouldn’t listen to Zhang Yuanhang. Seeing the elders, who were several generations older than him, getting up early to inspect the Mech, Zhang Yuanhang couldn’t bear it and could only reluctantly pick up his tablet to perform a small check on the Mech.

This was to appease Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao.

An incense stick’s time quietly passed.

Seeing that the sun had already risen outside, Lin Yun quickly approached Zhang Yuanhang, ”Xiao Zhang, how is it? When can I get into the Mech’s cockpit?”

”It will be eight o’clock in half an hour.”

Lin Yun said with concern.

”It’s ready now.”

”Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao, let’s make way for Colonel Lin Yun.”

Seeing that the time was approaching, Zhang Yuanhang waved for Everyone to retreat to the safe zone.

Academician Wu and the others looked at the factory clock, seeing that it was already seven-thirty. To avoid delays, they could only retreat to the safe zone.

”Everyone, don’t worry, with me, Lin Yun, there will definitely be no problems.”

Lin Yun patted his chest, attempting to reassure Academician Wu and the others, but Academician Wu and the others only showed him their backs as they walked away.

Seeing this, Lin Yun’s face flushed slightly as he entered the cockpit, ”Damn it, no one’s paying attention to me. This is too embarrassing.”

After entering the Mech, Lin Yun immediately activated it and then waited for the helicopter that would guide him to Shancheng Gymnasium.

At this time, five miles from Shancheng Gymnasium, many streamers had set up their live broadcasting equipment. This location was precisely on the Mech’s essential flight path from Shancheng Military Base to Shancheng Gymnasium.

They wanted to capture the Mech’s magnificent appearance as it flew towards Shancheng Gymnasium.

”Brothers, I’m so nervous! It’s almost eight o’clock.”

”Darn it, I couldn’t get tickets to Shancheng, so I can only watch the live stream at home.”

”Brother, it’s a good thing you didn’t come to Shancheng. Shancheng Gymnasium is already packed with people. Even if you came, you might not be able to get in to see the Mech.”

...At this moment, Zhang Yuanhang and China’s Top Leader, under the escort of fighter jets, took a helicopter to Shancheng Gymnasium ahead of time. This was a scene that would go down in history, and they couldn’t miss it.

A large number of military police also began to get busy, only allowing one person into Shancheng Gymnasium after a full body search.

”Hurry, Ya Xin, the people in front are starting to go in.”

Guan Ya, who was originally drowsy, saw the people in front slowly starting to move, and her sleepiness instantly vanished. She excitedly looked towards the main entrance.

”Great! We’ve been waiting all night. We should be among the first to enter, right?”

”Probably, after all, Shancheng Gymnasium can accommodate fifty thousand people at once.”

”Brothers, I’m a little excited!”

...Li Yaxin looked at her classmates’ excited expressions, and her heart was also filled with curiosity. What kind of person could develop something as epoch-making as the Mech?

”Ya Xin, wouldn’t it be great if the two of us could become disciples of the person who invented the Mech!”

Guan Ya’s eyes sparkled. Becoming a disciple of a great master, wouldn’t her future life be smooth sailing?

”Let’s be more realistic,” Li Yaxin said with a smile, patting her best friend’s head.

CCTV had already set up live broadcasting equipment at Shancheng Gymnasium. For the next day, CCTV would broadcast live from Shancheng Gymnasium all day long.

”Here it comes, here it comes! CCTV’s live stream is clearer. But where is the Mech?”

”I was just thinking the same thing, why isn’t the Mech in the center of the venue?”

”Could it be that the officials are giving us a smoke screen???”

”Everyone, what’s the rush? It’s not eight o’clock yet. There are still ten minutes until eight!”

...At this moment, hundreds of millions of people instantly poured into CCTV’s live stream. Everyone was quite bewildered to see the empty venue. It was almost eight o’clock, so why hadn’t the main character appeared yet!!!

Shancheng Military Base.

”Colonel Lin Yun, you can depart now.”

At this time, the helicopter responsible for guiding Lin Yun to Shancheng Gymnasium had arrived at the designated location.

”Okay, I’m coming!” Lin Yun excitedly maneuvered the Mech to take off.

”Boom!”

The four engines instantly roared to life, propelling the mountain-like Mech to follow behind the helicopter, heading towards Shancheng Gymnasium.

”Holy cow, family, they’re here! The Mech is here!”

At this moment, the streamers waiting outside were the first to spot the Mech in the sky through their binoculars, then immediately pointed their cameras upwards.

”It’s hard to imagine, the helicopter looks like a newborn baby in front of the Mech.”

”I’m even more curious about how incredibly powerful the engines must be to make this Mech fly.”

”It seems our country has made earth-shattering progress in the field of engines!”

...Many netizens watching these streamers were trembling with excitement. The previous videos about the Mech were not comprehensive enough, and people didn’t have a clear concept of it.

Now, seeing this behemoth, they were incredibly excited.

”Colonel Lin Yun, Shancheng Gymnasium is directly below.”

The helicopter pilot said via radio.

”Okay, watch my divine descent!” Lin Yun maneuvered the Mech to begin the landing procedure.

”It’s here, the Mech is here!”

”I really want to know how shocking the scene is. Tens of thousands of people, not a single sound, Everyone must be stunned speechless.”

”You’re stating the obvious!”
