Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

84: Aerospace fighter assembly beginsYang Aiguo sent the news from Shancheng Military Base to the Aerospace Administration.

Director of the Space Administration Wu Wenhua, who received the news immediately, hastily flew to Shancheng.

He wanted to see with his own eyes if the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit invented by Zhang Yuanhang could truly be applied to their aerospace endeavors, as Yang Aiguo had claimed.

If it could genuinely be used for Lunar Landing by then, it would be a great convenience for the Aerospace Administration as well.

At this moment, Zhang Yuanhang was leading a group of scientists in assembling the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit.

Less than three hours later, the Flight Suit was fully assembled.

Yang Aiguo looked at Zhang Yuanhang, who clapped his hands, signaling completion, and was immediately stunned; Yang Aiguo had originally thought that the Flight Suit invented by Zhang Yuanhang would be relatively bulky.

After all, according to Zhang Yuanhang, the Flight Suit also had an exoskeleton power-assist device, and Yang Aiguo had thought this thing would be as bulky as a Space extravehicular suit.

However, its actual size was much smaller than he had imagined, like a fat person weighing two or three hundred jin wearing a down jacket.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, are you finished?” Yang Aiguo asked.

”It’s done. Now, with a quick charge, it can be worn and used directly.”

Zhang Yuanhang plugged in the power, saw the battery display start charging, and then sat aside.

”Good heavens, can this Flight Suit be used on other fighter jets?”

Yang Aiguo stroked the Flight Suit, then fell into deep thought. If this Flight Suit could be used on other fighter jets, it would greatly improve the safety of pilots.

However, considering that the size of this Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit was still considerably larger than the Flight Suits currently worn by pilots, he abandoned this idea.

Instead, he looked forward to the advent of the Aerospace Fighter.

Just then, Director of the Space Administration Wu Wenhua rushed to the scene.

”Hello, Comrade Xiao Zhang, hello!”

”My name is Wu Wenhua. I am older than you, so I’ll take the liberty of calling you Comrade Xiao Zhang, and you can call me Old Wu.”

Wu Wenhua looked around, then approached Zhang Yuanhang with a smile, eagerly extending his hand to shake Zhang Yuanhang’s.

”Alright, alright.” Zhang Yuanhang looked at the enthusiastic old gentleman in front of him, initially wondering who he was.

He inadvertently caught sight of the three large characters for ”Aerospace Administration” on his clothes, and then understood.

The person who came should be the Director of the Aerospace Administration.

”Old Wu, you’re quite fast this time, how long ago did I call you?”

”You actually arrived so quickly. When I needed you for something before, you weren’t this fast!”

Yang Aiguo jokingly looked at Director of the Space Administration Wu Wenhua. He had originally thought Wu Wenhua would take a few days to arrive.

But he didn’t expect the other party to rush over so quickly.

”No choice, for Lunar Landing, our Aerospace Administration has been preparing for a long time. Hearing that Comrade Xiao Zhang’s invented Flight Suit could meet the needs for Lunar Landing, how could I possibly stand still!”

Wu Wenhua looked at Zhang Yuanhang with a grateful expression.

Although he hadn’t yet examined the Flight Suit invented by Zhang Yuanhang, Wu Wenhua believed that anything produced by Zhang Yuanhang would definitely meet their Lunar Landing requirements.

”Old Wu, come and see if my Flight Suit can meet your Lunar Landing needs.”

Although Zhang Yuanhang knew in his heart that the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit met the conditions for Lunar Landing, he still wanted Wu Wenhua to confirm it himself.

”Alright.” Wu Wenhua followed Zhang Yuanhang to an office desk. The desk was covered with various design parameters for the Flight Suit; these were all provided by the system and could also be considered experimental parameters.

Wu Wenhua picked up each sheet, pushed up his glasses, and meticulously examined them.

”Old Wu, do you think the Flight Suit invented by Comrade Xiao Zhang can meet the needs of your Aerospace endeavors?”

Seeing Wu Wenhua remain silent for a long time, Yang Aiguo spoke up and asked.

However, Wu Wenhua had no time to pay attention to Yang Aiguo at the moment; he was completely awestruck by the Flight Suit invented by Zhang Yuanhang.

After a full half hour, Wu Wenhua finally withdrew his gaze from the blueprints in his hand.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang’s Flight Suit can completely meet our Lunar Landing needs, and all the data is better than what we required.” Wu Wenhua looked at Zhang Yuanhang, wondering how someone who builds Mechs thought of building this.

So he asked, ”Comrade Xiao Zhang, aren’t you busy producing Mechs right now? Why did you specifically take time out to design and manufacture this Flight Suit?”

Although Wu Wenhua didn’t know how much time Zhang Yuanhang had spent on this Flight Suit, it certainly wasn’t short.

After all, this Flight Suit was so excellent.

”Hahahaha!”

Yang Aiguo held his stomach, laughing heartily at Wu Wenhua.

”Old Yang, what are you laughing at? Did I say something wrong?”

Wu Wenhua looked at Yang Aiguo, bewildered, for a moment not understanding why his old friend had suddenly burst into laughter.

”Old Wu, let me tell you, Comrade Xiao Zhang didn’t specifically design this Flight Suit.”

”He just designed it to protect pilots while inventing the Aerospace Fighter.”

Thinking that Wu Wenhua was the Director of the Aerospace Administration, Yang Aiguo did not conceal the news of the Aerospace Fighter.

”What!” Hearing this news, Wu Wenhua’s eyes widened like an ox’s.

”Gulp!” Wu Wenhua swallowed, looking at Zhang Yuanhang in disbelief. Good heavens, how long had it been since he created the Pangu Mech!

Wu Wenhua had thought he would have to wait several years or even more than a decade to see Zhang Yuanhang’s new invention.

But how long had it been, and Zhang Yuanhang had actually come up with a new invention again, and just like the Pangu Mech, it was a groundbreaking creation.

”It seems our Aerospace Administration needs to work harder, otherwise one day we will be replaced by the things Comrade Xiao Zhang invents.”

Wu Wenhua felt immense pressure. For the past ten years or so, the Aerospace Administration had been steadily developing, appearing to be the best on Blue Star. Wu Wenhua had originally thought that in the future, the Aerospace Administration would definitely become the guiding light for Space on Blue Star. Now, with Zhang Yuanhang’s invention of the Aerospace Fighter, everything had become an unknown.

After all, who knew when Zhang Yuanhang would invent a Space Freighter? At that point, wouldn’t their Aerospace Administration be in an awkward position?

”Hahaha.” Zhang Yuanhang and Yang Aiguo laughed simultaneously.

Zhang Yuanhang didn’t think he would replace the Aerospace Administration, but like Wu Wenhua, Yang Aiguo also felt that once Zhang Yuanhang developed a Space Freighter in the future, the Aerospace Administration’s position would become awkward.

After all, once there was a more efficient and cheaper mode of transport, the country would definitely not spend a lot of effort launching rockets to transport satellites and various items into Space.

At that time, the Space Freighter would be the country’s first choice.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, I’ll take this Flight Suit back for some relevant experiments. Once confirmed, our Aerospace Administration will definitely show our profound gratitude.”

Wu Wenhua said gratefully.

”Mhm, mhm.” Zhang Yuanhang nodded. Afterward, Wu Wenhua signaled his people to take the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit and quickly left Shancheng Military Base, returning to the Aerospace Administration to test the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit.

”Comrade Xiao Zhang, the parts for the Aerospace Fighter have arrived.”

At this moment, Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao rushed over. All the parts had arrived, so they could begin assembling the Aerospace Fighter!!!

”Good.” Zhang Yuanhang turned to Yang Aiguo, ”Uncle Yang, I’ll be going now.”

”Alright, alright, you go ahead and get busy!” At this time, Yang Aiguo would not delay Zhang Yuanhang’s important business.

Watching Zhang Yuanhang and the others head to the factory, Yang Aiguo went back to retrieve his sidearm and personally led people to patrol Shancheng Military Base.

From today onwards, Yang Aiguo would personally oversee the assembly of the Aerospace Fighter.

Because Air Force Commander Yang Aiguo led by example, the soldiers of Shancheng Military Base all raised their spirits by two hundred percent.
