96: Hong Bo won the special merit”Commander, Hong Bo just sent back photos. He completed his mission. The air defense circle of the Eagle Country’s allied forces was breached by our Aerospace Fighter.”

”Should we release the photos on the official website now?”

Elder Wang excitedly rushed into The Top Leader’s office with a stack of photos and placed them in front of The Top Leader.

The Top Leader, with an excited expression, picked up the photos from the table and began to look at them.

He saw a group of officers on the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier being blown every which way, while the Navy soldiers on the other warships looked around in confusion.

Because the Aerospace Fighter’s speed was too fast, they didn’t even know what had happened.

”Just putting these photos on the official website isn’t quite enough,” The Top Leader said with a smile.

This was a great opportunity to make the Eagle Country lose face, and The Top Leader wanted to maximize it.

”Have all major telecommunication operators send messages to every Chinese citizen.”

”Inform everyone about Hong Bo piloting the Aerospace Fighter for a low-altitude penetration of the Eagle Country’s allied naval fleet’s defense line, and at the same time, award Hong Bo a special merit citation!”

The Top Leader said.

The magnitude of the crisis Hong Bo faced this time was unimaginable to everyone. Not to mention facing a massive fleet with over two hundred warships.

Just flying at low altitude and high speed over the sea was like dancing with death.

One must know that if an accident occurred during low-altitude, high-speed flight, there would be no chance to react, and the only outcome would be the destruction of the aircraft and the death of the pilot.

”Hong Bo truly deserves a special merit citation this time.”

Elder Wang also nodded in agreement.

So, he immediately began to make arrangements.

At the same time.

The combined fleets of the Eagle Country and various other countries had all halted their advance. They had been scared witless by the low-altitude, high-speed Aerospace Fighter that flew past. If they continued to approach China.

They worried about facing an attack from an Aerospace Fighter at that point.

That would be troublesome.

So the Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet called Eagle Country Boss Te Kao Pu.

”Boss, something unexpected happened. I recommend suspending this military exercise,” the Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet said bluntly after making the call.

Trump, on the other end of the phone, looked at his phone in surprise. If this hadn’t been a dedicated line, Trump would have suspected he was dealing with a phone scam.

”What nonsense are you talking about?” Trump immediately cursed back, ”We’ve gathered so many allies and warships; you can’t just stop it. How will we explain it to everyone?”

Trump understood that if he suddenly and inexplicably announced the suspension of this military exercise, the radical citizens of the Eagle Country would surely come to the White House to lambaste him.

His approval rating would definitely plummet then.

For the sake of his seat as Eagle Country Leader, Trump would never order the suspension of the military exercise unless it was absolutely critical.

”Boss, we just encountered China’s Aerospace Fighter,” the Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet explained to Trump.

”So what?” Trump laughed, ”Are you telling me that with so many warships, you’re afraid of one Chinese Aerospace Fighter?”

Trump was quite speechless with the Commander of his aircraft carrier fleet.

”If you can shoot down China’s Aerospace Fighter and bring it back.”

”I can promise you right now that you will be the next Naval Commander of the Eagle Country!”

Trump’s eyes glowed. If they shot down the Aerospace Fighter, the Eagle Country could reverse engineer it, then develop its own Aerospace Fighter. Wouldn’t his approval rating increase significantly then?

”Boss, what did you just say?” The Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet incredulously rubbed his ears.

”Shoot down China’s Aerospace Fighter!” Trump shouted into the microphone.

”Boss, do you know how we knew about China’s Aerospace Fighter?”

The Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet said with a bitter smile.

”Needless to say, it must have been radar!”

Trump said confidently.

”No, Boss, we saw China’s Aerospace Fighter with our own eyes.”

”China’s Aerospace Fighter directly breached all our defense systems, flying directly over everyone’s heads.”

”If that Aerospace Fighter had been carrying bombs, we might all be dead.”

Thinking of this, the Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet felt a chill run down his spine.

He had been just one step away from death.

”What!”

Trump was so startled that he instantly stood up, completely shocked.

The Eagle Country had always boasted to the outside world about how excellent their air defense system was, but now the Aerospace Fighter had simply ignored all of it and flown right through.

”Boss, this military exercise can be canceled, or moved to another location.”

”We can’t go near China’s waters anymore, or we’ll be the ones losing face.”

The words of the Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet made Trump seriously consider the matter.

Trump felt a little numb for a moment, ”But the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already announced that we will be conducting military exercises near China. It seems a bit late to change it now!”

The Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet scratched the back of his head and came up with a good idea, ”Boss, we can say that there was a hurricane in the area of the military exercise, and we had no choice but to change the location of the exercise.”

”This way, we can save the Eagle Country’s face and avoid facing China’s Aerospace Fighter.”

Trump heard the words of the Commander of the Eagle Country’s aircraft carrier fleet, nodded in agreement, and immediately waved for his secretary to handle it.

”But, Boss, according to the weather forecast, there’s no hurricane or anything in the area of our military exercise?”

The secretary felt there was too big a flaw in this statement; a hurricane wouldn’t just appear out of thin air.

Trump looked at his secretary with cold eyes, ”If I say there’s a hurricane, then there’s a hurricane. You just need to release the news.”

”Yes, yes.”

The secretary nodded hastily and then left in a panic.

Just as Trump thought he had perfectly handled the matter, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted the photos taken by Hong Bo on its official website.

At the same time, every Chinese person received a text message commending Hong Bo.

”Damn, brothers, did you receive the official commendation for a pilot named Hong Bo? A living special merit citation!”

”I can only say it’s too amazing. This is my first time seeing a living special merit citation.”

”Quickly go to the official website and look. They’ve posted a few photos of the Eagle Country and other countries’ combined fleets.”

”My goodness, I can even see the nose hairs of the people on the aircraft carrier.”

”This must be a close-up shot, right???”

”Brothers, I think I understand why Hong Bo received a special merit citation.”

...The internet exploded in an instant.

This was the first special merit citation in China in decades!
