Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

83: My flight suit not only allows me to walk in outer space, it also has an exoskeleton!“That’s right, the speed of fifty Mach is in Space; within the atmosphere, the Aerospace Fighter can only fly at a mere eight Mach!”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

Hearing Zhang Yuanhang say it was only a mere eight Mach, Everyone present’s eyelids twitched. Currently, most things on Blue Star that could reach eight Mach were still missiles.

And the types were few and far between.

“I really look forward to the day of the Aerospace Fighter’s maiden flight.”

“Thinking that our Huaxia airspace will be guarded by Aerospace Fighters in the future, I can’t help but feel excited!”

“By the way, Everyone, isn’t eight Mach very demanding on pilots? What if we build the Aerospace Fighter, but no one can fly it?”

...Everyone thought, ‘That’s right!’ If they painstakingly built the Aerospace Fighter, but no pilot could withstand the pressure and unleash its full potential.

Wouldn’t that be infuriating!

Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao turned to look at Zhang Yuanhang. They believed that since Zhang Yuanhang had considered this step, he must have resolved the problem long ago.

“No need to worry,” Zhang Yuanhang said, turning to rummage through a table behind him. After a moment, he pulled out a blueprint. “With this, we won’t have to worry. By then, any pilot will be able to fly the Aerospace Fighter.”

Zhang Yuanhang naturally knew that once his Aerospace Fighter experienced overload, basically no pilot could withstand it.

So, when he had the factory manufacture parts for the Aerospace Fighter, he also made sure to prepare the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit.

Of course, all the required technical data and material formulas were provided by Zhang Yuanhang. Otherwise, even with the full support of the country, they wouldn’t have been able to help Zhang Yuanhang produce this Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit.

“Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit!” Academician Wu took the blueprint from Zhang Yuanhang’s hand and read the words on it.

Everyone present, upon hearing this, looked at Zhang Yuanhang with shining eyes.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, did you give the blueprint for this Flight Suit to the factory? Have they manufactured the parts?”

Academician Zhao asked eagerly.

He had originally been worried that the Aerospace Fighter wouldn’t be able to fully utilize its capabilities, but he hadn’t expected that Zhang Yuanhang had already thought of a solution.

“I did. They should have delivered the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit by now, right?”

Zhang Yuanhang hadn’t paid special attention to this matter, so he didn’t know the current situation.

He only knew that they had finished it.

“Gulp!” After carefully examining the blueprint, Academician Wu was completely stunned.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, is this Flight Suit designed as a Space walking suit? And why does it also seem to have some exoskeleton assistance device inside?” Academician Wu looked up and asked Zhang Yuanhang slowly.

Oxygen supply system, power system, cooling system, life support system—the more Academician Wu looked, the more it resembled a Space walking suit. So he asked Zhang Yuanhang.

“That’s right, you could also call it a Space walking suit,” Zhang Yuanhang nodded.

Everyone’s eyes widened. This Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit seemed to be quite extraordinary!

“I thought that if the Aerospace Fighter were attacked in Space, the pilot wouldn’t be directly exposed to Space. The exoskeleton assistance device allows the pilot to safely enter the escape pod I designed in the event of an emergency.”

Zhang Yuanhang explained.

“Escape pod?”

Everyone was stunned. They had initially thought that if the Aerospace Fighter had a problem in Space, the pilot would basically be... They hadn’t expected that Zhang Yuanhang had even created corresponding rescue measures.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, can your escape pod safely bring the pilot back from Space?”

Academician Sun had a hint of doubt in his eyes. He felt that the escape pod Zhang Yuanhang designed might only serve as a comfort.

One must know that the return capsules used by astronauts were quite large and heavy!

For the Aerospace Fighter, where every inch is precious, it would be impossible to spend so much to install an escape pod.

“Of course it can. My escape pod uses a new type of material, so protecting the pilot is absolutely no problem.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

Everyone’s eyes lit up—new type of material!!!

One must know that Zhang Yuanhang’s new material for the mecha had once greatly advanced Huaxia’s material science. Now, Zhang Yuanhang had come up with another new material, which made Everyone extremely excited.

At the same time, they all looked at Zhang Yuanhang with envy, jealousy, and even a hint of resentment.

How difficult it was to develop a new material was something even these non-professionals knew. Every time a new material was developed, researchers would lose a basketful of hair, and it would simply be impossible to develop it otherwise.

“Good, good, good, Comrade Xiao Zhang, on behalf of our Air Force pilots, I thank you.”

This was Yang Aiguo arriving.

He had originally only learned that the Nuclear Fusion Engine experiment had been successful and wanted to come see the engine, but he hadn’t expected to hear this scene unfold.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, thank you!”

Yang Aiguo said with red eyes. With these two measures from Zhang Yuanhang, Yang Aiguo believed that future Aerospace Fighter pilots would not be 100% safe, but they would definitely be safer than other fighter pilots.

At the same time, Yang Aiguo wondered if he should tell his friend at the Aerospace Administration about the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit.

They were currently designing a Space suit for extravehicular activities after the Lunar Landing.

Zhang Yuanhang’s Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit seemed like it could also be applied to their Lunar Landing!

So Yang Aiguo said, “Comrade Xiao Zhang, the Aerospace Administration is currently designing a Space suit for extravehicular activities for the Lunar Landing. Can I tell the Aerospace Administration about the Space Fighter Dedicated Flight Suit?”

“Uncle Yang, of course you can!”

“I think that using my Dedicated Flight Suit would make our Lunar Landing astronauts even safer.”

“However, they will need to manufacture it themselves at the Aerospace Administration. My Flight Suit here isn’t enough; it’s for test flights.”

Zhang Yuanhang quickly expressed that his designed Flight Suit could be used.

He was also very surprised by the Aerospace Administration in his heart, not expecting that they had already begun planning for the Lunar Landing.

Zhang Yuanhang had originally thought that Huaxia’s Lunar Landing would still depend on him acquiring more advanced Space technology in the future.

But he hadn’t expected that the Aerospace Administration was already preparing for it now. It seemed he had no destiny with the moon.

Indeed, my Huaxia has so many talented people!!!

“Of course, the Aerospace Administration is wealthy; they can pay to build it themselves.”

“Thank you, Comrade Xiao Zhang. Rest assured, the Aerospace Administration won’t use your things for free.”

“By then, I’ll try to get some good things for you in return.”

Yang Aiguo patted Zhang Yuanhang’s shoulder, thinking to himself: The Aerospace Administration brought back a lot of moon soil from the moon; giving a little to Comrade Xiao Zhang wouldn’t be too much, right!

“Hahaha, then I thank Uncle Yang.” Zhang Yuanhang wouldn’t be polite about what he deserved.

Zhang Yuanhang was very curious, what would the Aerospace Administration give him then???
