Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

86: The Eagle wanted to go to the moon, but found that he was powerless! At this moment, CCTV received instructions from The Top Leader and immediately began arranging the evening news.

At the same time, it also immediately published the news on its official website.

“With the help of Mr. Zhang Yuanhang, the Lunar Landing program has entered its final stages.”

“The Aerospace Administration will choose a date to launch a rocket, sending astronauts to the Moon.”

This news spread virally online.

“Good heavens, our Huaxia Aerospace Administration is quietly doing something big!”

“Brothers, I think I just saw Great God Zhang Yuanhang.”

“That’s right, you’re not alone!”

“Great God Zhang Yuanhang is truly amazing; he was able to help the Aerospace Administration and even had CCTV specifically mention him in thanks. He must have made a significant contribution.”

After looking at the details of the news, the Huaxia public was very curious about what role Zhang Yuanhang played in this Lunar Landing program.

The Entire Blue Star countries following Huaxia were completely dumbfounded at this moment. They didn’t expect Huaxia to be going to the Moon. One must know that the only country that had ever sent people to the Moon was Eagle Country.

Eagle Country attached great importance to Huaxia’s news. Currently, Eagle Country temporarily did not have the ability to send people to the Moon.

Now, they were constantly praying that Huaxia’s rocket would encounter problems.

Eagle Country Leader’s office.

“Ake, you’d better give me an explanation!”

“Didn’t you tell me that Zhang Yuanhang was busy researching things? How is he now involved with the Huaxia Aerospace Administration?”

Trump’s saliva sprayed all over Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency Ake’s face, as if it cost nothing.

“This... this, Boss, I don’t know either!”

“According to the information we’ve gathered, Zhang Yuanhang was busy researching his own things. As for the Huaxia Aerospace Administration, we truly had no information at all.”

Ake was on the verge of collapsing. One must know that the experts from the Eagle Country Intelligence Agency had analyzed the situation in Shancheng over and over again.

They were 100% certain that Zhang Yuanhang was developing new things. Logically speaking, Zhang Yuanhang should not have had time to help the Huaxia Aerospace Administration at all!!!

At this moment, Trump and Ake would never have imagined that Zhang Yuanhang had not specifically gone to help the Aerospace Administration; everything was a coincidence.

“Go and call our Director of the Space Administration. We, Eagle Country, must restart the Lunar Landing program.”

Trump tightly gripped the pen in his hand. Although Eagle Country had landed on the Moon once before, decades had passed, and people on The Entire Blue Star were beginning to doubt the previous Lunar Landing.

Even Eagle Country’s own citizens were questioning whether their country had actually landed on the Moon back then.

To suppress Huaxia and to show The Entire Blue Star, Eagle Country must land on the Moon again.

A moment later, Director of American Aerospace Agency Thomson quickly arrived at Eagle Country Leader’s office.

“Thomson, I suppose you know that Huaxia is going to the Moon, right?”

Trump said.

Thomson had a bad feeling. The current Eagle Country Aerospace Administration couldn’t achieve a Lunar Landing; he desperately hoped Trump wouldn’t mention it. “Boss, I know.”

“To prevent Huaxia from stealing the spotlight, I plan to restart the Lunar Landing program. We, Eagle Country, will not only land on the Moon, but we will also establish a base there.”

“Establish a permanent research base!”

The more Trump spoke, the more excited he became, staring at Thomson with gleaming eyes.

Thomson, being stared at, wished he could bury his head directly into the office floor.

Mother’s kiss, we don’t even have the ability to fly to the Moon yet, and you’re already thinking about establishing a permanent research base on the Moon.

Even a madman wouldn’t play like this.

“What, is there a problem?” Trump frowned when Thomson hesitated to respond.

Ake looked at Thomson pitifully. He could understand Thomson’s feelings at the moment: powerless!!!

“Uh, uh, Boss.”

“What you just said, we temporarily cannot accomplish.”

Thomson said, steeling himself.

“Is the Aerospace Administration short on time? Stop all other projects and focus entirely on the Lunar Landing.”

“Whatever your Aerospace Administration needs, I will fully support it.”

Trump waved his hand. As long as they could suppress Huaxia, paying some price was acceptable.

“No, no.”

“It’s just that our Aerospace Administration currently doesn’t have the capability to complete this program. Many technologies from back then have been lost.”

“Moreover, many companies that manufactured Lunar Landing rocket parts back then have gone out of business, so we can’t gather those parts.”

“Now, if we want to restart the Lunar Landing program, we need to redesign and manufacture the rocket, which would take several years, or even more than a decade, to complete.”

Seeing that Trump kept misunderstanding, Thomson explained the entire reason.

With the passing of many aerospace giants and no new ones emerging, the current Eagle Country Aerospace Administration had long lost its former capabilities. These years, it had been living off its past achievements.

To land on the Moon, they would have to start from scratch, redesigning a Lunar Landing rocket.

Hearing Thomson’s words, Trump stood frozen, taking a long time to recover.

At this moment, Trump couldn’t accept that his almighty country, in his eyes, was actually inferior to the then-impoverished Huaxia in the aerospace field.

“Boss, why don’t we team up with the European Space Agency to complete the Lunar Landing program?”

Ake stepped forward and suggested. The European Space Agency had integrated the strengths of European Countries, and its power should not be underestimated.

Teaming up with his own country, they should be able to achieve a Lunar Landing, right!

A glimmer of hope appeared in Trump’s eyes as he looked at Thomson.

Thomson pondered for a moment, “Cooperating with the European Space Agency is also an option, but it will still take several years.”

“What!”

“Why, even with cooperation from the European Space Agency, do we still need so long?”

Trump didn’t understand why, even with a strong alliance, the time frame hadn’t significantly decreased. It still required such a long time.

“Boss, because the European economy has been sluggish these past years, the European Space Agency has received very little funding.”

“This has led to the European Space Agency, like us, not actively developing high-thrust rockets, and they also don’t have ready-made rockets that can reach the Moon.”

Thomson said awkwardly.

Trump stood awkwardly, realizing that he could only watch Huaxia busy with its Lunar Landing from his office.

“Is there really no other way?” Trump was unwilling to give up, hoping Thomson would think hard and see if there were any other solutions.

“No.” Thomson shook his head.

Currently, if Eagle Country wanted to land on the Moon quickly, its only option was to cooperate with Huaxia, but unfortunately, Huaxia and Eagle Country were at loggerheads.

Cooperation on this matter was simply impossible.

“Damn it!”

“We can only watch Huaxia land on the Moon.”

Trump, feeling helpless, slammed his fist on the table, venting his dissatisfaction.
