Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

57: On the durability of mecha! The Laser Cannon and Electromagnetic Oscillation Cannon earlier were just minor warm-ups; now comes the main event of today.

Zhang Yuanhang operated the tablet a few times.

The Mecha’s thighs began to change, and in the blink of an eye, two eight-legged Mecha emerged from them.

“Bang!!”

From each of the two thighs descended a three-meter-tall, eight-legged Mecha, which was the Tarantula Unmanned Self-Propelled Mecha. On top of the Mecha was a 155mm caliber cannon.

The pitch-black cannon muzzle was particularly intimidating.

The Tarantula Unmanned Self-Propelled Mecha, like a kung fu kid, ran around on the reinforced concrete ground that had been ruined by the Electromagnetic Oscillation Cannon.

“Gulp!”

Everyone collectively swallowed. The Mecha also had two exceptionally agile ’little brothers.’

Everyone’s gaze converged on Zhang Yuanhang, hoping he could explain this ’little guy’ to them.

“Because the Mecha’s system, after maintaining its own normal operation, still has a large amount of remaining computing power, to avoid waste, I developed this eight-legged Mecha.”

“They are connected to the Mecha’s system, capable of networked combat, and each is equipped with a 155mm caliber Electromagnetic Cannon, with 100 rounds of ammunition.”

Zhang Yuanhang patted the Tarantula Unmanned Self-Propelled Mecha.

“Electromagnetic Cannon!”

“So the Tarantula Unmanned Self-Propelled Mecha is powered by electricity? Is there enough electricity?”

Academician Wu looked at the Tarantula Unmanned Self-Propelled Mecha; this guy wasn’t small, and it also needed to power an Electromagnetic Cannon. Could the battery store that much electricity?

“Yes, of course, it’s enough.”

“When it runs out of power, this guy will return to the Mecha to charge itself.”

“Under full power, this Mecha can still operate at full capacity for five hours.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile, with the battery technology provided by the system, it could keep this Tarantula going until the end of the battle.

“Gulp!”

Academician Wu and the other researchers looked at Zhang Yuanhang with terrified eyes. This guy was not human!!!

China’s Top Leader looked at the Tarantula and asked, “Comrade Xiao Zhang, is your charging speed fast?”

“It’s decent; it only takes half an hour to fully charge,” Zhang Yuanhang replied.

Hearing that it only took half an hour, China’s Top Leader’s eyes lit up. If this battery were applied to electric vehicles, wouldn’t China’s electric vehicle industry dominate The Entire Blue Star!!!

“Oh, right, Xiao Zhang, what about your Iron Eagle Stealth Drone?” Elder Wang remembered the other thing Zhang Yuanhang had mentioned earlier, so he hastily asked.

“I’ll demonstrate it now!”

Zhang Yuanhang manipulated the tablet twice.

A small, foldable drone ejected from behind the Mecha’s head.

“This looks like it’s just over a meter, how long can it fly?”

“Yeah, this drone doesn’t look fast, does it? How come it feels even slower than the Mecha?”

“This is a bit useless!”

...Some young researchers looked at the Iron Eagle Stealth Drone hovering overhead and shook their heads.

Just as they were looking down on this drone, the air defense forces stationed there erupted into chaos.

They clearly saw a drone circling in the sky, but all radar systems showed no reaction.

You have to understand, at this distance, it was like looking at someone right in their face, yet all radar systems were as if paralyzed, showing no reaction at all.

They just watched the drone circle in the sky.

“Quickly inform the leaders to evacuate! We cannot lock onto this drone!” Seeing that they could not lock on, the air defense force leader immediately shouted.

The security forces moved quickly, rushing to China’s Top Leader and the others, which startled everyone.

“What’s going on?”

Elder Wang looked at the nervous security personnel, his heart tightening. Could Foreign powers be coming to destroy the Mecha?

Damn it, how did the Mecha get exposed so quickly!!!

“Chief, the air defense radar cannot lock onto this suddenly appearing drone. We should enter the air raid shelter now.”

“After we shoot down this drone, we’ll come out.”

After speaking, the security personnel were about to escort Zhang Yuanhang, China’s Top Leader, and Elder Wang away from the area.

“Wait, wait.” Elder Wang now understood what was happening, so he directly pushed everyone aside, “Don’t be alarmed, this is a drone developed by Comrade Xiao Zhang, there’s no problem.”

“Ah!”

The security personnel looked at Zhang Yuanhang in astonishment. The drone he invented was too powerful; none of the surrounding air defense forces could lock onto it.

“Xiao Zhang, does your drone also have stealth capabilities???”

China’s Top Leader’s jaw dropped slightly, his eyes wide with shock as he looked at Zhang Yuanhang. There were so many air defense forces surrounding Shancheng Military Base.

The radars were countless, yet under these circumstances, not a single team could lock onto this drone.

“Yes, it does.”

Zhang Yuanhang nodded.

For a moment, everyone stared blankly at the drone circling in the sky. What the heck? This drone, which looked rather unremarkable, had such incredible stealth capabilities?

Even our China’s stealth fighters and the Eagle Country’s stealth fighters would be detected and locked on in this situation.

Yet this drone, which was as simple as could be, was not locked on.

“Xiao Zhang, how are the capabilities of this drone?”

Everyone no longer dared to underestimate this drone. At this moment, everyone understood that this drone was definitely more powerful and more incredible than they believed.

“This drone’s battery can ensure it flies for eighteen hours at a speed of five hundred kilometers per hour.”

“Because of its small size, it isn’t equipped with any weapons, but it possesses very strong stealth capabilities. The Mecha supervisor has three such drones to ensure 24-hour surveillance of the Mecha’s surroundings.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

“I didn’t expect, Xiao Zhang, that your Mecha is full of treasures!”

“If it weren’t for the Mecha’s enormous size, making it easy to be focused fire on the battlefield, I would really want to build several production lines and equip the troops.”

A hint of regret flashed in China’s Top Leader’s eyes. Equipping this massive Mecha was not suitable at the moment.

“What’s there to fear about focused fire? My Mecha has flight capabilities, and even if the engine runs out of fuel, its protective capabilities alone are enough to block enemy attacks.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

“Protective capabilities?”

Everyone was bewildered. What other special abilities did this Mecha have?

Elder Wang and the others looked disapprovingly at Academician Wu, Academician Sun, and Academician Zhao. They had had the Mecha’s design blueprints for so long and hadn’t discovered anything.

“My Mecha is entirely made of metal materials that I developed myself. This material is lightweight and has strong anti-strike capabilities.”

“It can easily withstand rocket and artillery attacks, and bullet attacks can be directly ignored.”

“As for missiles, the two Laser Cannon on the Mecha can completely blow them up from a long distance.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.
