My Players Are So Fierce

Murphy was not entirely sure what his most fanatical little players were up to at the moment. He had just finished work at the temporary base in the Temple of the Giant Rock, and he was planning to lead Adel along the northern Ligurian Peninsula through Lake Xiuerpres to return to the Maginot Line, completing the final stage of his journey.

He did not plan to venture into the Kato area at this sensitive moment.

However, he did plan to stay in the unclaimed area at the intersection of Kato, the Ligurian Peninsula, and Transylvania tonight, waiting there for a guest of honorable status.

As the players continued to enjoy the “growing grass period” activity in the northern peninsula during the DLC transition, the Hammer of Morphy, carrying no passengers, traveled at a brisk pace and arrived in the target area by nightfall, beginning to descend in altitude.

The terrain in this area had become flat again from the hilly region, and looking down from the airship, some lights could be seen on the ground. These were from the fortifications set up by the Exploration Corps and some villages established by refugees planning to return to the Ligurian Peninsula for temporary residence.

However, the northern war zone had been devastated by the Filthy Jackal People and the Daguan Fishmen to a terrifying extent. According to Lady Liji’s personal inspection, even after being purified by fire, this area would not be habitable for at least twenty years.

Furthermore, because the Jackal People had polluted the water sources, this area might never return to its former prosperity.

Speaking of Liji…

The sealed demigod remained on the base island of the Temple of the Giant Rock. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to visit Transylvania with Murphy; it was mainly because Murphy had to set up quest lines in advance for the next DLC’s “Dragonborn” release.

Additionally, Lady Liji, who was skilled at “tea art,” quickly became fond of the naive youngsters after interacting with the small players.

She seemed like an enhanced version of Spider mother Wilanser.

In just a few days, Liji used her masterful green tea skills to cultivate a massive following of “fans,” coupled with her “unique modeling” and “oriental flair” that resonated well with players, her popularity surged rapidly upon her debut among the player community. Currently, in the forum’s “Top Ten Beauties” ranking, Lady Liji had already surpassed Adel to claim the third spot.

The momentum was so intense that even Triss, who had been reigning supreme at the top, felt a slight bit of threat.

The most outrageous part was that because Lady Liji naturally followed a “grassroots” approach, some followers of the Avalon Church shifted to the Lord Cloud Mist’s side. Liji and Knight of LiWen had already started preparing to establish her father’s temple in Transylvania.

For Murphy, this posed no downside.

He would be more than happy if Transylvania could become a “land of all beings,”

Now that even the Feathered Snake God Kurukan, from the faraway New Continent, had begun constructing his pyramid in the Andma Hills, another faith from Ao posed no issue, especially with his status as an administrator ensuring control over the godly followers.

“But Liji seems to be leaning more and more towards ‘fan circle’ activities. I can’t tell if she’s naturally talented at this or if some ‘dirty tricks’ are guiding her from behind.”

By the window of the Hammer of Morphy, the Vampire Lord grimaced at Adel, who stood beside him, and said:

“Honestly, now I feel like I’ve been deceived by Mannis. That guy left Liji with me with obvious ill intent, perhaps intending to curry favor with his ‘father-in-law’ this way?”

“The emergence of zealots isn’t necessarily a bad thing, Master.”

Adel, with her Shadow Fang Warblade, softly said:

“Given Transylvania’s positioning as a battleground, the presence of zealots can always take on the most dangerous duties when danger looms, as long as their numbers are controlled. Moreover, Lady Liji does not manage the specific affairs of the Cloudy Zenith Temple. She only needs to act as a figurehead. Knight of LiWen is much more sensible in this aspect.”

“It’s no use if she herself is rational.”

Murphy shook his head and said:

“Fan behavior will inevitably reflect on the idol one day, and if it attracts Ao’s displeasure, wouldn’t I end up getting implicated? As it stands, it’s better to place the Cloudy Zenith Temple outside of Transylvania. Lake Xiuerpres is a good spot, as the Sea Abyss Deity and Lord Cloud Mist are brothers, and their beliefs won’t clash when together.”

“Sir! The test subject of Project 27 has awakened!”

Just as Murphy finished speaking, Mosna’s voice came through his protective inner armor’s quantum communication.

Murphy paused for a moment, then quickly rushed with Adel to the medical bay.

When they donned sterile protective suits and entered the medical bay, they found Brigadier General Fraser devouring a bowl of “Governor’s special wontons” under He Lu’s assistance. Despite its clear broth, the chef’s skill was evident, and the chicken broth was rich and flavorful.

The poor brigadier general, having been in a coma for nearly a week, indeed needed to replenish his nutrition.

This unfortunate fellow had undergone multiple incidents, leaving him skin and bones now, but his mental state was surprisingly good. Murphy also noticed that the previously amputated left arm of Fraser had completely recovered.

The newly grown skin had a color difference from the original skin, making it look somewhat strange.

“How is his condition?”

Murphy turned to Mosna, who was using her body-integrated life detection device to monitor, and she, focusing on the fluctuating numbers on the screen, replied:
