My Players Are So Fierce

They gathered at the cleaned-up coast by the Mermaid Ladies, waiting for the reward settlement to begin. During this time, some people set up stalls, clearing out materials and items they couldn’t use from the recent battles.

Of course, in this process, there was no lack of those European Kings selling high-level equipment dropped from defeating wild creatures, enticing a group of excited newbies to drool and haggle.

With the current multi-dimensional, multi-type equipment acquisition methods displayed in “Real Otherworld,” as long as newbies can get through their initial phase and grind a bit, they can get a pretty decent set of armor and weapons.

Can’t say they are excellent, but they definitely won’t face situations where they can’t defeat monsters.

Players who pursue equipment often take time to farm materials near quest areas, then find local craftsmen to craft themselves.

The manufacturing players’ skills have also become quite refined; for example, the Broken Sword Master can steadily produce commander-grade refined weapons, and occasionally when luck strikes, can even craft top dominator-grade weapons.

Moreover, with the development team’s constant event pacing, almost every version includes a baseline equipment set that advances with the storyline, like this time’s Wild Fish Feast where Mermaid Elder Sisters brought Atlantean Kingdom’s standard Rapid Military Gear from the Large Reef Province using big turtles.

The early-arriving players even helped unload those exquisite weapons from the back of the shipping turtle, now piled under the old lighthouse awaiting settlement to begin. The Mermaid Ladies loved the lively players, thus allowing high-reputation newbies to try out the weapons early.

The Psychic Trident crafted with a unique Water Forging Method could cut hair with ease, equipped with [Rapid Stream Cut] and [Call Wind and Rain] entries in the water environment, usable by both physical and spiritual energy dual professions. Even more impressive is the Wave Battle Blade exclusive to the Avenger Tidal Hunters.

This blade deepens its edge with enemies’ blood, and after several enemy slashes, can even deal out undefendable true damage.

The Merfolk’s Rapid Armor features an entry [Bubble Shield], allowing damage absorption through bubbles, a divine artifact for newbies lacking accumulated equipment and skills while tackling monsters in storylines.

Of course, high-end players find such goodies utterly unappealing.

For instance, Little Wei Ming was sitting on his dad’s shoulders, standing beside his mom at the water’s edge, watching the Mertrainers drive the tamed sea beasts closer to the island.

Those large sea beasts were also part of the military reward.

The large turtle could carry at least thirty riders, the great sea snake had strong destructive power and could still splash venom, the giant crab was a formation-breaking beast, and the most wonderful aspect was that the blue-purple giant crab could fight on land, even considered a “war pioneer” in another form.

And the merfolk-tamed tiger sharks.

These ferocious marine creatures, tamed into vehicles with saddles crafted through merfolk secret techniques, allowed humans to breathe freely underwater, a feature mount explorers loved.

Overall, the “Wild Fish Feast” chasing event was indeed full of sincerity; players from all tiers could find what they needed, and the top reward of a Ghost Ship was not only a strategic weapon but possibly very few in number by the game’s closure.

Such flashy things were a must-have for players devoted to establishing their guild’s fame!

“How come Old Huo came too?”

Currently imagining his guild sailing the Ghost Ship across the seas, Chen Long was startled to see Boss Huo disembarking a nearby airship.

With his four glamorous companions, the latter strode through ostentatiously, displaying an air of importance.

“Wasn’t he supposed to return to manage his casinos and Tobacco Empire? Why is he here?”

Piggy, next to him, widened his eyes in concern.

“Rumor has it that Boss Huo plans to acquire a Ghost Ship to create a unique ‘Underwater Casino…’”

Knowing some insider info due to close ties with the Silver Moon Group, Sister Maotu whispered:

“It’s a vital step in Boss Huo expanding his business empire; he intends to spread Treasure Bay’s fame worldwide, and by the way, to secretly go on a world tour with his Chenyu…”

Sister Maotu’s voice grew louder with a slightly jealous tone.

Everyone’s gaze turned to Xugou, pretending to admire the coastal view; he quickly realized the misconception and exclaimed:

“Why are you all looking at me? I don’t have the ability to get a Ghost Ship for a honeymoon trip… cough, but it’s not impossible either; however, each military achievement settlement alone releases one Ghost Ship, and if Old Huo snatches it this time, we’ll have to work hard for the next round.”

“It’s okay. No worries. Old Huo never participated in events. How could he have those fins to settle military achievements? I think this matter might…”

[Ding! “Wild Fish Feast” event first phase settlement starts! Statistics show all participating players have exceeded the maximum military achievement preset by submitting over seventy thousand pairs of Black Fins from Merfolk within seven days, surpassing the limit by 150%, hidden rewards unlocked!
