My Players Are So Fierce

The “Tide of Fish” event is divided into four stages, each lasting a week with a settlement at the end. According to Murphy’s timeline, the final settlement coincides perfectly with the launch of “Creator’s Legacy”.

The development team led by him clearly intends to seamlessly transition through the DLC changeover period, but Murphy has once again underestimated the players’ enthusiasm when faced with easy rewards.

What?

During the event, if you don’t empty the store, is it still considered grinding?

Under the leadership of these “all-out” pros, the Daguan Fishmen from this sea area and the northern continent suffered greatly over the past seven days. Although not yet completely eradicated, the events of the past week are considered a small miracle over the past thousand years on this continent, according to the observations of the Mermaid Yunyou Priests.

The ever-dominant Daguan Fishmen, known for their rapid reproduction, have been suppressed by killing for the first time.

This terrifying efficiency of eradication was unimaginable by the Mermaid Sisters before. Upon seeing the settlement ending and receiving military accolades, the players enthusiastically prepared to continue hunting fishmen non-stop. Lady Dena, the High Priest of the Temple of the Giant Rock, immediately came up with a “bold” idea.

This worldly and capable lady quickly found Governor Murphy, who was leisurely passing time in the ruined lighthouse, and explained her idea to him. At that moment, Murphy was busy working on the developer logs for “Creator’s Legacy”. After hearing the well-experienced mermaid’s idea, he was completely baffled.

What?

Murphy blinked and asked:

What do you mean by “turning into a ‘long-term event’?”

I thought there aren’t many fishmen left in the nearby sea anymore, and the remaining Daguan Fishmen close to the shore can only support the warriors to complete the second-stage settlement. For the next two stages, they would have to go to the Kato area and Lake Xiuerpres to hunt fishmen.

I’m now worried if the fishmen there can withstand my warriors’ wild assaults.

How can this become a long-term event?

I know you have an extreme disdain for fishmen, but this isn’t how you harvest them; you should at least give these poor fishmen some time to reproduce, right?

No, no, you’ve misunderstood, Governor.

Lady Dena took out a map of the Large Reef Province from her bosom, summoned spiritual energy so it floated before Murphy’s eyes, pointing to the areas marked in advance around the sea chart with large and small red regions, she said:

The fishmen in the Kato Waters are clearly not enough for your warriors’ frenzy hunting and killing. With these slayers’ killing efficiency, any fishmen disaster likely to erupt within Transylvania shouldn’t be a problem. However, other places in the world haven’t had the fortune to enlist such brave warriors to help clear the calamities.

Take the Large Reef Province: there are seven large fishmen nests near our sea area alone, and continuously splitting small nests and hidden Daguan sanctuaries in the Savage Sea Domain.

These threats cannot be resolved in the short term by relying solely on Tidal Hunters. However, perhaps guided by the Sea Abyss Deity, I glimpsed the perfect way to suppress, even resolve the fishmen disaster during this perilous journey.

Your warriors!

No doubt about it, the fighting and execution prowess of warriors from foreign lands in the face of military rewards amazes me, and only those as fearless as them can combat the explosive disaster like Daguan Fishmen.

In three days, I’ll send a batch of sisters with abundant loot back to the Large Reef Province to ask for accolades from the governor. But I will stay here to continue providing military reward exchanges for the warriors.

My suggestion is, I will recommend the governor to initiate similar bounty tasks within the province; the Large Reef Province warmly welcomes your warriors to assist us in defeating evil.

Upon saying this, Lady Dena pats her affluent and generous chest, earnestly promising:

Regarding military accolades, you need not worry!

Even if we exhaust all manpower and resources of the Large Reef Province, I will certainly make sure your warriors receive rewards that match their diligent contributions.

Not only in our Large Reef Province, but throughout the seven provinces of the Atlantean Kingdom, except the Abyssal Royal Court, other places generally have significant pressure from fishmen disasters, especially the Moon Province on the eastern sea border.

Fishmen there have already polluted the natives on the island. Those Fallen have creatively transformed their faith in Daguan into a local apocalyptic demon-god’s bizarre legend, attracting many filthy sea beasts.

Every once in a while, other provinces draw large elite forces to support battles in the Moon Province. But now, with your warriors… Forgive me, but they are undoubtedly the most outstanding ‘Fish People Butchers’ we can find and safely employ.

Hmm, I roughly understand.

Murphy nodded, stroking his chin, said:

Turning ‘Tide of Fish’ from a temporary event into a ‘permanent event,’ this is indeed a brilliant idea. Given that a large number of newbies may enter our world in the near future, such a fulfilling permanent event can definitely enhance player satisfaction.

But you need to handle the journey from Transylvania to Large Reef Province.

When my new warriors break through the Black Iron Tier, I’ll guide them to go to the Large Reef Province to root out evildoers. The Temple of the Giant Rock should set a starting point within Transylvania and send diplomats to be stationed at the Crimson Castle.
