My Players Are So Fierce

“Hehe, Uncle Potato Daddy is in for a rough night.”

Cheche let out a mischievous laugh and glanced back at Xugou and Maotu behind him.

These two were putting on a show of “human and snake love,” but unlike others, it was Maotu using her long snake tail to wrap up the screaming Xugou, dragging him into the water amidst his cries.

Well, this is another kind of love play, and everyone present is part of their act.

Over here, the players were eagerly discussing the implementation of the Mermaid template, while the true mermaids on the other side were dumbfounded. The mermaid big sisters watched, wide-eyed, as a group of foreigners transformed into members of the merfolk right before their eyes. They were taken aback, but the mermaids familiar with players were just enjoying the spectacle.

For instance, Miss Katerina was leaning over Three Five Battles’ back, peering at those foreign sisters swimming around in the water like little mermaids just let out to play.

“You guys can really become any race, huh? I thought you were just boasting before.”

Katerina exclaimed:

“So if necessary, could you also become Daguan Fishmen?”

“Uh, we can, but those who tried before suffered miserably; no one dares to do it now.”

Three Five Battles, compliant as ever, serving as the small mermaids’ walker, commented:

“Daguan isn’t anything good; getting involved with it definitely brings misfortune. But do you really have no mermen, not even one?”

“None, really.”

Katerina explained seriously:

“It’s said the Sea Abyss Deity’s blessing was initially given to a sorrowful Dragon Lady who lost her lover. She despised the land where her lover died and was accepted by the sea, becoming the first mermaid, the inaugural Queen of the Atlantean Kingdom. Until her death, she never set foot on land again. Since then, the Sea Abyss Deity’s blessing has only been open to females, but after finding true love, we’re still free to choose how to spend the rest of our lives. Many sisters do abandon their tails to become human again and spend a lifetime on land with their lovers. The most typical example being the current Queen of the Dragon Emperor. She fell in love with the Dragon Emperor at first sight, leaving the ocean to live in Jade Cloud Mountain in Tiandu. A little more than a month from now will be the Queen’s birthday, and the Celestial Venerable’s human form will happen to be touring the world and pass by the Large Reef Province at that time. By then, we’ll hold a grand celebration there, and since you are friends of the merfolk, you can participate as well. Maybe one of the mermaid sisters will fancy you, Three Five Battles, even though you’re quite plain.”

“Haha, fine, you can call me plain, but why curse me to be fancied by one of your sisters?”

Three Five Battles retorted sharply:

“Even if I get fancied, what for? Our… ahem, anyway, it’s useless, not everyone can have pure love like Niu Niu until the end of time.”

Forget it.

I’m not watching them anymore.

No fun, better to go collect my reward.

You mentioned you wanted that sea serpent named ‘Lute’ as a mount, right? I’ll contribute some of my military merits to Brother Meow, and there’ll be just enough left to trade for a sea beast, which I’ll gift to you.”

“Huh? Aren’t you going to trade for weapons and armor? The sisters worked tirelessly to transport those from the Large Reef Province, and they’re really good weapons.”

The little mermaid inquired in surprise, as Three Five Battles shrugged and proudly patted the battle hammer at his waist, saying:

“What I have is much better, don’t need those for now. Those weapons are prepared for newbies; I just need to get a tiger shark for myself. This event doesn’t pose any real challenge for an expert like me, so, just tell me, do you want the sea serpent?”

“Yes! I want to ride the sea serpent back to the Large Reef Province and show my childhood sisters. Maybe I could become a formidable Tidal Knight in the future. It’s a shame the sea dragons in the Savage Sea Domain have been wiped out by the Daguan Fishmen; otherwise, taming a sea dragon would be more impressive. Speaking of which, will you be visiting the Large Reef Province, Three Five Battles? There are some artifacts from land people in my mother’s armory, said to be gifts from my father, and much better than your wooden shield and hammer. I’ll give you one then.”

“Huh? My hammer and shield are sacred relics, you know? They’re blessed by Avalon, and there may be many divine weapons on the Continent, but few are better than mine.”

“Believe it or not, my father’s battle bow was blessed by Lord Cloud Mist, who is far more powerful than Nature Celestial. I heard from my mom that my father once shot down a star with it! Hmm, that’s probably exaggerated, no mere mortal could shoot down a star.”

“Wait a minute! Little mermaid, you have a weapon blessed by Lord Cloud Mist? What’s your father’s background? Now that I think about it, I never asked about your family after we met. What does your mother do in the Large Reef Province?”

“Uh… can’t say! It’s a secret! Anyway, just know that my mom is amazing, and so are my sisters. My father, being from the land, passed away long ago, but he was also remarkable. There’s even a temple in the Kalem Ancient Country dedicated to him. I’m just a little failure… Oh well, not going to talk about it, it’s all tears.”
