My Players Are So Fierce

The first military merit settlement of “Feast of Frenzy Fish” just began, and Murphy, hiding in the dilapidated lighthouse, used his newly acquired “Calculating Pearl ProMAX” to stir up something for the players.

The launch of the special character template, Mermaid, was like a thunderclap for the players, immediately causing those female players who had long envied the beautiful tails of the mermaids to scream.

Ever since the Mermaid quest line went live, discussions about this special race have persisted both in forums and on the Transia Tavern APP. One of the players, “Photography Master” Dasaen, even spent two days editing a video titled “Summer of Fish Tails,” which topped the charts right after being posted on the APP.

He cleverly filmed alongside the various styles of big sisters among the mermaids, showcasing Lady Dena’s intellectual elegance, Lady Mo’er’s capable maturity, Miss Katerina’s youthful beauty, and Avenger Tidehunter Commander Lady Nikita’s valiant demeanor and enchanting snake tail in different segments.

It must be said that the mermaid race truly has a special “resonance” with water by nature.

Perhaps on land, mermaids are simply beautiful and striking, but once they enter the water and sway their exaggeratedly magnificent fish tails or startling snake tails with the waves, paired with their long hair floating in the water, it instantly gives an indescribable but heart-stirring shock.

Beauty varies from person to person. There are always some peculiar individuals whose tastes don’t align with the norm and are exceptionally bizarre, but there exist some irrefutable truths in the field of aesthetics.

Undoubtedly, the special form of mermaids perfectly hits the softest spot in the hearts of the otherworldly spirits.

There are posts on the forum discussing whether mermaids might become a selectable race in the future. However, according to veteran player’s summaries, based on the current game’s race release process, before the players truly engage with the main storyline of the Atlantean Kingdom or enter the Large Reef Province adjacent to the Origin Land, it’s unlikely that the stingy development team will open the mermaid race.

Especially since this modeling and dual-form transformation mode clearly consumes a lot of programmer’s hair.

But as it turns out, players shouldn’t use their mediocre brains to speculate the astonishing wisdom of the development team—now this is called a surprise!

This is a surprise!

“Wait for me!”

Lady Judy, who was looking at the scenery on the coast with her husband and daughter, screamed, throwing the Little Potato she was holding into her husband’s arms, then went offline in place, leaving Little Potato and Daddy Potato staring at each other.

Little Wei Ming also wanted to transform into a mermaid; she still had a chance for a free race change that she hadn’t used yet. But considering that she is currently one of the only two “warriors” acknowledged by Sir Murphy in the game, if she changes, she would lose Sir Murphy’s favor, which didn’t seem worth it. She reluctantly decided to forgo it.

Not only Lady Judy went offline, but Sister Maotu also instantly went offline, and the four flowers accompanying Boss Huo wandering around collectively went offline. The girls of the Silver Moon Group hesitated for a moment, and even Lumina, who was firm in her “elf obsession,” wavered a bit.

Even “Lady Shui” sighed deeply.

Achieving the silver rank isn’t good either.

Silver-ranked race conversion would lose a portion of Ancestor’s Power, effectively weakening the character’s stats. Although optional, the subsequent story and gaming experience would suffer greatly, not to mention that she’s currently a top-tier professional player among the player community—if she loses power, given the current community’s intense competition, it will be extremely difficult to catch up again.

Most importantly, the mermaid is currently just a test template, so it’s hard to say if this race’s strength will keep up with the increasingly outrageous strength of the enemies the Silver Moon Group is currently facing.

Minutes later, under the watchful eyes of Little Potato and Daddy Potato, Lady Judy reappeared online, maintaining her original appearance. However, upon logging in, her body was covered in a watery glow that obscured her lower body due to the form change, making it impossible to wear equipment.

With a cheer from Lady Judy, she flapped her fiery red tail hard towards the water surface, jumping into the sea like a carp leaping over the dragon gate.

Upon entering the water, there was no sense of suffocation or pressure.

The modified body according to the race template seemed to awaken the talent of fish, allowing Lady Judy to breathe easily even underwater, and she even felt more relaxed and free than on the shore. She spread her arms in the water as if to embrace something.

While swinging that red, smoky tail, she hurried underwater, darting through the corals on the shore like parkour and continually accelerating underwater. Finally, she leaped out of the water amidst Little Potato’s elongated call.

The wet hair stuck to her neck, and the tail with beautiful tail fins curved into an elegant arc, resembling a mythical siren luring sailors with the rainbow light refracted by the water blossom.

“Wow!”

Little Potato spread her wings and flew over, only to be hugged by her playful mom in mid-air, taking her into the water once more.

This action made the little vampire instinctively struggle in the water, but in the next moment, Lady Judy clumsily used the mermaid’s talent skill, putting a personal water bubble on Little Wei Ming to prevent her from suffocating in the sea water.
