Two years later!

Building a business route from Moth Frog City to the Doma River meant that Moth Frog City would become the first big city that was closely connected to relatively flourishing cities outside the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy. Tens of thousands of Moth Frog City residents were celebrating, as the entire Moth Frog City had entered a festive mood.

Naturally, the residents of Moth Frog City took Grimm’s name, and named this business route Grimm Road.

Grimm Road was only three meters wide, paved with bluestone slabs, even though it was just the lowest class business route, it would unleash its unbelievable function!

The ocean liners of the four chambers of commerce were docked at the Doma River Port, as Grimm stepped onto a podium, looking at the crowd of merchants and caravans, staring at the port that was humble but fully equipped, Grimm spoke in a clear voice, “From today onward, this port shall be named Vivian Port.”

Clap, clap, clap…

A round of applause, and the merchants at the port dock drove their carriages toward Moth Frog City.

Now the merchants would not need to be like the Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce before the road construction, where they had to ride elephants to cross the swamp and thorn bushes to journey toward Moth Frog City.

After Grimm celebrated with the nobles of Moth Frog City for a while, he turned to the accountant behind him and said under his breath, “Please keep track of the taxes from today’s port and business route thoroughly.”

“Understood.”

The accountant combed his small beard excitedly and nodded.

To welcome the president of the Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce who specially rushed over, Grimm walked toward her, this person was an old woman with very well-maintained skin and it showed to be extremely fair and delicate, even though she was a normal human over a hundred years old, Grimm could feel that her Soulfire was still quite stable, with no signs of breaking apart.

Behind the old woman, were two Legendary Knights.

“Congratulations to Governor Grim on the official construction of Vivian Port, these two Broken Stone Scaled Beast cubs are just a small gift from the Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce!”

Behind her, ten muscular Knights lifted a giant iron cage that contained two one-meter-long scaled cubs, the cubs were roaring like tigers that had just started weaning.

“Hmm?”

“These beasts!”

The other chamber of commerce presidents, who planned to establish a long-term partnership with Moth Frog City, were all shocked seeing these two Broken Stone Scaled Beast cubs, the Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce was so willing to pay such a price to Moth Frog City?

Of course Grimm knew the worth of these two cubs.

This type of cub was a Sorcerers World being that could be easily trained by humans, once it reached adulthood it could easily possess the strength of a Legendary Knight, its worth was the same as the Blazing Phoenix from the Blazing mercenary regiment.

The Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce actually gifted two of them, perhaps this chamber of commerce was willing to expand into an even more intimate partnership with Moth Frog City.

If he remembered correctly, the Will of Magnolia mercenary regiment, who had a Sorcerer-Apprentice with them, was founded by the Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce from the Tri Thunder Tower Sorcerer Academy regions.

“You’re too kind, president.”

Grimm smiled, and signalled for the Knights from behind to take away the cage with these two Broken Stone Scaled Beast cubs, and asked tentatively, “I wonder if the Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce is willing to work together with the building of Moth Frog City’s sky port?”

In the previous contract, the Sycamore Gold only provided technical support to Moth Frog City’s sky port.

But right now, from the Sycamore Gold chamber of commerce’s intentions to proceed into a large-scale partnership, Grimm proposed his partnership intentions at the right time.

“Of course!”

The old woman smiled brightly, and extended her right hand, she seemed to have prepared a partnership contract…

After that, the other chambers of commerce also presented their gifts, but compared to the Sycamore Gold, these chambers of commerce only planned to carry on a normal partnership with Moth Frog City.

At night.

The accountant ran to Grimm’s room enthusiastically, and spoke excitedly, “My lord, the tax we got from Vivian Port and Grimm Road today was eight hundred and twelve gold coins altogether!”

He had already predicted this, so Grimm nodded in satisfaction.

Today was the first day, so of course there would be more income in the days to come, if they were able to maintain a third or half of what they had earned today, the income purely from the port for the whole year would be more than ten thousand gold coins, that was not at all a small number.

As for this business route and Vivian Port, and also the rapidly developing raw material processing workshop and the service industry, this additional indirect income would be ten times what the business route would earn!

And just like this, the high status of Moth Frog City was established!

Two months later.

The hiring contract signed between the Blazing mercenary regiment, the Roaring Earth mercenary regiment and the Will of Magnolia mercenary regiment and Moth Frog City had ended.

But that did not matter anymore.

Half a year ago, Dawn Protector City sent an emissary and signed a peace treaty with Moth Frog City, because of the rapid momentum of Moth Frog City’s development, and the overwhelming business road construction, Dawn Protector City could no longer defend against Moth Frog City’s attacks.

In less than a few years’ time, Moth Frog City would definitely outclass the cities surrounding it which were Dawn Protector City, Love Bee City, and Bataatti City.

And if the construction of Moth Frog City sky port is done, and had become a municipality of the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy, then it would be a city that was two classes ahead!

The Blazing mercenary regiment and the Roaring Earth mercenary regiment parted ways with them, only the Will of Magnolia mercenary regiment stayed behind.

The old Sorcerer-Apprentice from the Will of Magnolia mercenary regiment presented himself and bowed to Grimm.

“Great Master, I don’t have many years left, my only worry is this daughter of mine. I hear that the Great Master has already signed a Great Bloodfalls Lavawyvern Bloodline Sorcery contract with Sir Muyi, after the Great Master is done with the terms of office, will you be guiding Sir Muyi toward the Underground Abyss Knights Academy?”

Grimm nodded and said calmly, “That is correct.”

The old Sorcerer-Apprentice inhaled deeply and said, “If I may, O Great Master, what Bloodline Sorcery level is the Great Bloodfalls Lavawyvern? If my daughter Hiroyuki Magnolia were to sign the same contract with the Great Master, what price must be paid?”

Hmm?

Grimm pondered upon his question, and went silent immediately, but did not expect Muyi to kneel on one knee, saying, “Lord Grimm, I hope…”

Grimm stopped Muyi, and asked in a strange manner, “Do you like her?”

“Huh?”

Muyi who was not good at expressing himself suddenly did not know what to say, he stuttered, and was unable to complete his sentence.

This courageous, reliable Legendary Knight stood there absentmindedly and helplessly.

“Muyi, yes means yes, and no means no. I was like you, but let me tell you, don’t let the good things slip away from you.”

Muyi gritted his teeth, and said deeply, “Yes!”

Grimm looked over to the embarrassed Hiroyuki, the corner of her lips were smiling. He then turned and said to her father, “The Great Bloodfalls Lavawyvern, is a Level-3 being from the Shadow World, it is categorized as the highest level bloodline sorcery, that means a Knight who possesses this bloodline sorcery will have a slim chance of successfully becoming a Great Knight comparable to a Level-3 Great Sorcerer!”

Grimm paused for a while, and continued, “As for the drawback, the Great Bloodfalls Lavawyvern needs to consume a certain amount of sulfur regularly, if not its power would weaken, not consuming sulfur for a long period of time would result in the demonic blood moss in its body eating its host!”

Bloodline sorcery would inevitably have its disadvantages.

But even so, no matter if it were Hiroyuki or the old Sorcerer-Apprentice, they were all stunned and surprised.

Grimm once again said to the old Sorcerer-Apprentice, “It just so happens that I reserved a few bloodlines of these naturally strong foreign beings. As for the conditions, to be honest, Muyi is the favorite child of my junior who had passed on, if your daughter Hiroyuki Magnolia is willing to become his wife, then after my term of office as governor has ended, as a blessing from an elder, I will transplant the Great Bloodfalls Lavawyvern Bloodline Sorcery to these two children at the same time.”

Ten years later.

The development of Moth Frog City had become even more rapid.

Not only the surrounding Dawn Protector City, Bataatti City, Love Bee City, even Datong City, Rising Orchid City and other further cities’ residents were attracted by the rich lifestyle of the rising Moth Frog City, and a big moving plan started to occur in large numbers.

Moth Frog City was like a beast’s giant mouth, devouring and accepting all the endless migrants that gathered in the city.

It can be said that the juniors and seniors who took the assessment together with Grimm would have to prepare themselves to congratulate Grimm for his success.

In the governor’s residence.

Grimm spoke to the three Legendary Knights kneeled in front of him, “Your jobs are to lead a thousand city guard Knights, be sure to leave no bandits drifting at the business route alive! Be careful, those people are not normal characters, bring the Broken Stone Scaled Beasts with you.”

“Yes, sir!”

The three Legendary Knights left the hall.

The three Legendary Knights were Muyi, Hiroyuki Magnolia, and a newly born Legendary Knight from seven years ago in Moth Frog City.

But different from Muyi’s choices, this newly promoted Legendary Knight was a noble, he just wanted to inherit the household and continue to enjoy his noble life and pleasures.

Hiroyuki and Muyi had gotten married eight years ago, Hiroyuki’s father left the world five years ago with a smile on his face, and they both had a daughter who was born four years ago, named Mu Vivi, it seemed like it was in loving memory of Grandma Vivian.

“Daddy, mommy.”

Mu Vivi ran out with her father and mother, she had a pair of big and watery eyes, they were full of unwillingness, after Hiroyuki coaxed her, she pointed to Grimm and said, “Go play with your Grandpa Grimm.”

Grimm smiled, “Come here, little Vivi, let Grandpa bring you to the Knights Academy to find Little Myna, alright?”

While he was coaxing little Vivi, he stared at Muyi and Hiroyuki who had gone far away, he smiled in his heart.

Even the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy’s attention had been attracted as they started using shabby tricks to cause problems, it seemed that the development of Moth Frog City had indeed become the all-round number one of all the cities that accepted the assessment.

At the very least, Grimm had not heard of other cities that were like Moth Frog City, where a bandit group with a Legendary Knight had suddenly appeared.

However, Moth Frog City now would not be willfully misdirected by a mere Legendary Knight leading a few hundred bandits!

Taking Muyi and Hiroyuki as comparison, both of them had come to inherit all that had been passed on by the Sorcerer-Apprentice after his demise, this was not something that could be obtained by a normal Legendary Knight.

As expected.

After seven days, the three Legendary Knights holding a bunch of bandits captive, as well as the head of the Legendary Knight, were welcomed back by the passionate residents of Moth Frog City.

Two four-meter long Broken Stone Scaled Beasts stood at the center of the Knights majestically.
