Squeak…

Two cracks about a hundred meters long appeared beneath the Heartless King’s feet.

In an instant, multiple nightmare bugs were crushed beneath the Heartless King’s feet.

Bending over his body and supporting himself with his arm, the Heartless King breathed heavily as his gaze remained fixed on the giant ape that was as big as the mountains.

“You…”

The Heartless King’s mouth was agape, as if he wanted to say something. This giant ape, whose appearance was far too different from ordinary Horrifying Creatures of the Nightmare World, stomped on the ground with both of his feet.

Thud! Thud!

After multiple footprints cracked opened the ground, a wild fury of hairy fists came toward him.

Bam!

Like a hand-to-hand combat between two beasts, the Heartless King was thrown off a couple hundred meters away, and crashed into the ground. Bang! A huge crater was made.

Grimm’s giant ape form in the Nightmare World had already overpowered the Heartless King completely. The Heartless King could not even fight back.

“Gemini King! Dream Watcher King! Moonshaker King!”

The Heartless King had just crashed into the ground as he called for the three Dreadlord Servants who had just arrived in a distance. But the moment he did so, he got punched heavily in the chest by the giant ape who stomped over to him. The giant ape’s fist passed through the hollowness in the center of his chest.

Slush!

The Heartless King opened his mouth. His scarlet tongue pierced into the giant ape’s left eye at the speed of lightning.

“He he he he, I thought you had always wanted to know my secret to collecting Fright Energy quickly?”

Grimm used one of his hands to pass through the Heartless King’s hollow heart and raised him up with his thick arms until the Heartless King was above his head. His other hand casually gripped the scarlet tongue, that had blinded his left eye, and started ripping it out mercilessly.

What was left of Grimm’s gory left eye had turned into tentacles. In the Heartless King’s terror, the huge eyeball that was pierced out by his tongue became distorted, and limbs started to grow. The limbs struggled to climb toward the giant ape’s empty left eye socket.

It was so eerie that even the Heartless King felt terrified!

The giant ape, who had recovered, smiled cruelly.

Bam!

His other fist landed on the Heartless King’s fist that was about to fight back. The two fists collided.

Crack!

The Heartless King’s arm became twisted in an unnatural way.

“Ah…”

The Heartless King twisted his body around, as if a prey trying to struggle in its last moments. The Heartless King wrapped his tail around the giant ape’s neck as his other hand was pressed down by both of the giant ape’s hands. The Heartless King’s hands were being twisted and broken in what seemed like an excruciatingly slow process.

“My secret to collecting Fright Energy this quickly lies within prey like you, muahahaha…”

Crack!

Grimm had also completely broken the Heartless King’s other arm!

However, it seemed like Grimm did not have the means to defeat him. Instead, Grimm told him his secret?

The Heartless King narrowed his eyes and trembled while saying, “Are you saying the hunter…”

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Three thuds of heavy landing could be heard almost at the same time.

Bam!

Grimm was hit on the chest by a forty meter tall Dreadlord Servant. The majestic power from his fists sent Grimm flying in an instant.

Becoming a giant ape had caused Grimm’s explosive attack power and defense to increase greatly, but this resulted in a decrease in his agility.

Thud!

After falling to the ground clumsily, he awkwardly got back up.

Yet the continuous attacks Grimm was expecting did not come.

‘Hmm?’

‘This is…’

Grimm was shocked. The Dream Watcher King with three bloody eyes had his back facing Grimm as he faced a thirty meter tall giant ape. The Dream Watcher King did not have any means of attacking him. What was going on?

As for the Dreadlord Servant who punched him…

He was a forty meter tall hideous monkey who was even taller than the current Grimm. Even his so-called forty-meter-tall height was just the height of him bending over!

Sitting on his unusually broad shoulders was a Fallen one of about seven to eight meters tall. Grimm noticed that the huge and small Fallen ones had their tails linked together.

‘Is this the Gemini King that the Heartless King had called for?’

Undoubtedly, this was a Dreadlord Servant that was even stronger than Grimm at the moment.

Bam!

The punch had caused large pieces of bloody red moonlight fragments. The Moonshaker King glared at the Dream Watcher King and roared, “The great Nightmare Mist Dreadlord is on his way. If you—a mere scum under the Nightmare Mire Dreadlord. want to avoid angering the great Nightmare Mist Dreadlord, then leave immediately!”

The bloody red color of the moonlight seemingly had some deeper attacking effects to it. Some red fur spots on the Dream Watcher King started to wither at a rate that was visible to the naked eye.

Yet the Dream Watcher King did not step back.

“Compared to angering the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord, I am more fond of the Nightmare Mire Dreadlord’s will. To protect this fallen Sorcerer from being found by the Nightmare Mire Dreadlord and Judgment Staff. To let him fall into the Nightmare World forever and become a true Fallen one.”

The three bloody eyes of the Dream Watcher King stared at him.

“I believe the great Nightmare Mire Dreadlord’s speculation is correct! Those Dreadlords in the past did not complete their rebirth. They merely became Judgment Staff Stigmata Sorcerer’s tools, he is much more evil and sly than the Three Rings Celestial Sorcerer that created the Tricolor fairytale law! The Sorcerers World is peacefully transforming the Nightmare World. They are not only going to end the threat of nightmares to Sorcerers, but they are also going to create Nightmare Sorcerers!”

Grimm who was in a distance stood up and defended himself from the Gemini King’s attack.

Yet now, Grimm’s eyes were startled as he heard the Dream Watcher King’s words.

The Tricolor fairytale law was a law that was created by the Three Rings Celestial Sorcerer? Was his pursuit for the past couple of years wrong?

Whereas Judgment Staff Stigmata Sorcerer’s goal was to find a way to transform the Nightmare World peacefully in order to create so-called Nightmare Sorcerers?

The first thought that came to his mind was Solumn.

Could it be that that fella happened to be a Nightmare Sorcerer?

Could it be that after the birth of Machinist Sorcerers, Black Sorcerers, Elemental Sorcerers and Anatomy Refinery Sorcerers in the Sorcerers World, a new birth to a new kind of Sorcerer was coming? The birth of Nightmare Sorcerers?

Grimm was shocked by his own bold guess.

Could it be…

That the way to leave the Nightmare World was to be parasitized by a Dreadlord in the Nightmare World and in turn be transformed into a so-called Nightmare Sorcerer by Judgment Staff Stigmata Sorcerer?

And this nightmare sorcerer law was the celestial sacrifice to Judgment Staff Stigmata Sorcerer!?

No, this was merely his own speculation. Before finding Judgment Staff Stigmata Sorcerer, he would not give up on hope and actually let a Dreadlord gain some so-called rebirth from his body.

This foolish gamble of surrendering your fate to a flip of a coin.

“Hmph! Compared to the mindless speculation of the Nightmare Mire Dreadlord, I’m more willing to believe the words of the great Nightmare Mist Dreadlord. The Nightmare Mire Dreadlord is just a coward that is terrified of the Sorcerers World. So he has given up on the higher pursuit of Ancient Nightmare World Dreadlords, and is willing to hide in this tiny box his whole life while waiting for the so-called decision of fate from outside the Nightmare World!”

Bam! Bam! Bam

The Moonshaker King and the Dream Watcher King clashed in battle.

As the Dream Watcher King fought with the Moonshaker King, his three bloody eyes kept staring at Grimm’s giant ape form as he roared viciously, “So close, I was so close to proving that, based on the great Nightmare Mire Dreadlord’s wisdom, the adjudication law exists! It is going according to the so-called leverage law of the Sorcerers. By sacrificing the nightmare protection of the Black Domain, the Nightmare Judgment of the Sorcerer Continent can be created.”

On one hand, Grimm was shocked by the quarrel between the Moonshaker King and the Dream Watcher King. The quarrel revealed too much information on the fight and competition between the Sorcerers World and the Nightmare World.

Even the battle between the Sorcerer Continent and the Black Domain was somehow involved.

On the other hand, the Gemini King roared at the Heartless King who had started battling with Grimm first.

“Lowly thing, how dare you go against the will of the great Nightmare Mist Dreadlord for that insignificant etiquette of yours?”

Grimm also looked at the Heartless King. His greedy eyes made Grimm very uncomfortable.

Grimm did not kill him just for the sake of preserving his strength to get through the night without dispersing his Fright Energy. That was the only reason he revealed his hunter ability to him.

If this were the case, the other Dreadlord Servants would hesitate and not let the Heartless King ‘offer’ his own Fright Energy. The Heartless King would naturally not ‘commit suicide’ and restore his combat abilities after losing a part of his Fright Energy.

If so, Grimm would lose one of his opponents.

If this were not the case and Grimm were to defeat the Heartless King, he would only be able to absorb a small amount of Fright Energy that would not change the situation nonetheless. This would result in the chance of him increasing his Fright Energy, but then he would not make it through the night before it dissipated.

“He he ha ha ha, nightmare hunter, your hunting Nightmare Power is just too marvelous! Now… you are about to witness the trading law that only I have in the Nightmare World.”

Suddenly, a new beating heart appeared in the Heartless King’s hand.

“I am going to use this heart of dreams and all my Fright Energy to replicate your hunting Nightmare Power. From now on, you will become the Fallen one with two nightmare powers and as for me, I will obtain the hope of becoming a new Dreadlord! Hehehehahahaha…”

A scale was formed between Grimm and the Heartless King.

As the Heartless King spoke, the scale on Grimm’s side had started to be slowly lifted up. A hunting nightmare ability was being completely replicated in the form of a greedy mouth as it filled the hollow chest of the Heartless King.

A pleasure unlike anything he had ever felt before filled his entire being. The Heartless King was so excited that he could scream.

“As for the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord? The only thing he can do to me after I’ve lost all my Fright Energy is to give me the repression punishment, hahahaha. But how long can he keep me there? In the end, he still has to leave this world to complete his rebirth!”

On the other side of the scale, the giant ape that had received a large amount of Fright Energy became even larger. At the same time, there was a strange heart in his chest.
