Above the odd scale of the Nightmare World.

On one side of the scale, Grimm’s body continued to grow larger. While on the other, the Heartless King’s body kept shrinking at an alarming rate. This was the result of the Heartless King’s body, which was formed by Fright Energy, being transfused rapidly into Grimm’s body.

The Heartless King’s Nightmare Power was being able to replicate the Nightmare Power of other Fallen ones?

Or was it this Nightmare Trading Scale?

This was completely different from his hunter ability which involved exhausting large amounts of Fright Energy. Grimm was injected with Nightmare Power like never before as his giant ape form had grown from forty meters tall to fifty meters tall. His solid muscles were filled with energy while the wild long red hair on his arms was almost touching the ground.

Thump thump… thump thump… thump thump…!

The heartbeat from the heart of dreams in Grimm’s chest was ringing in his ears. It was as if it had some special ability to force itself into dreams.

Of course, this so-called forcing into dreams referred to the dreams of others.

“Hmph, you traitor!”

A sharp voice could be heard from the short twin on the Gemini King’s shoulder. The short twin leapt toward the other side of the scale and slammed his hand on the Heartless King that had shrunk to two meters tall.

“Bam!” Heartless, who was no longer a Dreadlord Servant, was easily squashed into pieces. Blood and mist gushed out and filled the air.

After mere moments, the blood mist converged once again as the basic immortality ability of the Nightmare World was activated.

“From now on, I will become the new Nightmare Hunter!”

Heartless excitedly laughed sinisterly, not paying heed to the Gemini King’s anger.

“I’ve already lost all my Fright Energy, what’s the point of you attacking me again? Repress and bind me all you want, or hand me in to the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord to get rid of your anger haha hahaha….”

Heartless laughed shamelessly with a satisfied delight.

The Gemini King was composed of the main and vice.

“Crack!” On one side, the Main Gemini’s huge body straightened itself as it looked at Grimm, who was already bursting with power, with a heavy look.

Gazing upon Grimm who was suddenly surging with power, the Main Gemini could not help but feel a repression from him.

“Don’t bother with that guy anymore, what matters is completing the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord’s task. This guy is becoming troublesome!”

The Main Gemini from the other side of the tail said with a heavy voice. The tail between the Main Gemini and the Vice Gemini moved, returning the Vice Gemini who was hundred meters away back on the shoulder of the Main Gemini. Both of them turned to Grimm.

“Hmph! And it’s all because of that fool!”

The Vice Gemini glared at Heartless who had already lost all his Fright Energy.

“Let’s go!”

“Bam!” The Gemini King rushed toward Grimm’s giant ape form. The Main Gemini’s body had completely straightened. His body seemed a tad bit taller than Grimm’s giant ape form. A red hairy palm came in contact with Grimm’s head as a shockwave, like wind shredding the air, appeared.

Crack!

The giant ape’s arms that were much stronger than the Main Gemini’s locked onto his arms like pliers.

Boom!

The ground beneath his feet cracked open as crushed pieces of stones were thrown into the air. A hundred meter crater crack started to spread. The giant ape grinned, revealing two oddly long fangs as a ray of light flickered in his eyes.

Perhaps, there could be a change of plans!

Before, Grimm already had four hundred thousand points of Fright Energy. However, after the Heartless King’s exchange law of exchanging his three hundred thousand points of Fright Energy for the replication of Grimm’s hunter ability, he had already given all his Fright Energy to Grimm.

As such…

Grimm had close to eight hundred thousand points of Fright Energy!

This was in addition to his Level-2 wild instincts transformation that increased his strength according to his constitution ratio. If he were in the Material World of the Endless World, he would be an unbelievably horrifying existence.

If the Nightmare World were to be aligned with the Material World, Grimm would at least be a Level-6 creature. He might even be one of the strongest among them!

However, this was of course just the illusory power that was derived from the inner laws of the Nightmare Illusory World. If he were to believe in the illusory power and obsesses over it while growing according to the laws of the Nightmare World, then Grimm would become an actual Nightmare Creature.

Grimm’s initial plan was to protect himself by escaping to a relatively safe place before the arrival of the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord.

Yet when one was being hunted down by a Dreadlord, where on this vast Nightmare World was still a safe place?

The Holy Tower?

Even if the possibility of the guardians attacking him when he reached within the Holy Tower’s range were not taken into account, Grimm did not even have that much time to escape to the Holy Tower.

To Grimm, however, if he did not want to try and see if being parasitized by a Dreadlord was the actual way to leave the Nightmare World or trying to test whether that so-called adjudication law really existed, then there was really no safe place for him these few days before the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord arrived.

Yet now, Grimm had suddenly grown to become so strong that some changes must be made to his initial plan!

“Hehehehe, hehehehe, haha!”

Besides the Gemini King, the Moonshaker King, the Dream Watcher King and the Heartless King, Grimm could sense the large number of Dreadlord Servants that were swarming toward his direction from a distance. Grimm laughed wildly amidst the thought of his wild plans.

Well then…

Why not start a massacre and defeat all the Dreadlord Servants, utilize his hunter ability to the finest and absorb all their Fright Energy to become an existence that could even put up a fight with the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord!

If it were in the past, Grimm’s thoughts would sound unrealistic.

Even if the fact that all the Dreadlord Servants that were scattered across multiple locations in the Nightmare World and stronger in their own regions were not considered, Grimm would have been helpless, he would even fail and would have to run for his life.

Yet now, all these Dreadlord Servants had left their separate nightmare regions under the will of the Dreadlord. They were all actively heading toward Grimm, and Grimm’s strength had been increased due to the Heartless King’s greed…

That’s right, it was time for a change of plans!

Grimm’s hysterical laugh had caused the Main Gemini’s wariness and the Vice Gemini’s anger. The Vice Gemini let out a low growl as he ‘demonized’, with bloody red nails growing about several meters long. The connecting tail between them flinged at Grimm who was holding onto the Main Gemini’s arms.

“Creak!” After the Vice Gemini’s bloody nails came in contact with Grimm’s face, a sound like metal rubbing against each other could be heard.

The Vice Gemini clenched his teeth as he returned to the Main Gemini’s shoulder, saying angrily, “His defenses are unbelievable, I can’t break through his defenses even after demonizing. I guess it’s up to you now.”

When the Geminis demonized, one of them had to remain conscious or else they would become a killing monster, losing all sense and rationality.

Grimm in his giant ape form, used his scarlet red tongue to lick the five scratches on his face. After the blood was licked clean by his oddly long scarlet red tongue, he suddenly growled and flicked his arms, flicking the strong Gemini King away from him.

The Gemini King’s feet were dragged across the ground to form two gullies, only stopping after they were sent a couple hundred meters away.

“He has grown to such lengths. This nightmare hunter ability of his is too terrifying, and on top of that guy’s help… Hmph, I guess he can only be repressed through us being a hundred percent demonized. Until the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord arrives… Oh no!”

Grimm who had flung the Gemini King away turned his back and started running toward a random Dreadlord Servant.

The earth was quaking.

“Stop him from using his hunter ability!”

A thought came to the Vice Gemini as he yelled in shock.

Fortunately, Grimm was still marked by the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord’s spiral mark. The nightmare mist around him still binded Grimm, slowing Grimm down from running toward the servant.

The Vice Gemini who was on the Main Gemini’s shoulder looked toward that Dreadlord Servant from afar.

“It’s the Dark Shadow King!”

The Dark Shadow King was not worth mentioning when compared to the other Nightmare Mist Dreadlord Servants. He was absolutely incomparable to the Gemini King—the first servant of the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord.

But those who had become Dreadlord Servants were the Fallen ones who had walked upon this path of being a Dreadlord. Thus he was certainly not one to be underestimated.

“Don’t come closer, leave him be!”

The Main Gemini roared, signaling for the Dark Shadow King to stay away from Grimm.

The Dark Shadow King was initially shocked by the unbelievably strong body of the fifty meter tall Nightmare Hunter that was being chased after by the Gemini King. But after hearing the Gemini King’s warning, the Dark Shadow King smiled disdainfully.

The Nightmare Mist Dreadlord had absolute faith in this rebirth opportunity. That was why the reward for this task was remarkably high. Any Dreadlord Servant who participated in this Nightmare Hunter task would be rewarded with an unimaginably great reward.

Yet now, the Gemini King was asking him to leave?

Even if he were to dissipate once, it would be worth the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord’s reward!

Gradually, the Dark Shadow King’s body started to become blurry. It seemed like a sort of illusory ability—the ability to effectively reduce the effects of physical attacks. In the Material World of the Endless World, only special races could master such rare abilities.

The reason being that this kind of ability was said to involve power from the Void World!

However…

To Sorcerers, besides the purest of Anatomy Refinery Sorcerers, almost no other Sorcerer would use purely physical attacks, especially the Elemental Sorcerers of the Sorcerer Continent.

“No!”

The Dark Shadow King shouted in shock, looking at his illusory arm being broken by the Nightmare Hunter in disbelief. Another large hand slammed onto him, the large hand emanating a violent breath.

The Nightmare Hunter was not affected by his void power!

Compared to the Sorcerers World that had been continuing to learn, understand and comprehend the Nightmare World, the Nightmare World’s understanding of the Sorcerers World was way too shallow.

This was caused by the trait of biological groups.

One after another, the Fallens in the Nightmare World had become the history of the Nightmare World. They marked the multiple worlds that the ancient Nightmare World had parasitized and abandoned again and again.
