A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 526: The Dreadlord XII

Gemini King’s question made the Dreadlord Servants tremble like a cold breeze had been blown right through them as they gaze upon him.

Indeed. If Nightmare Creatures were to lose the ability to leech on creatures from reality, to be rebirthed, for what purpose should The Fallen One stay alive, or collect Fright Energy to evolve?

All the fuss to collect more Fright Energy just to make human beings’ nightmares scarier?

There would be no end if one were to collect Fright Energy just for the sake of collecting Fright Energy. Even if the accumulated Fright Energy was on par with a Dreadlord, this was still a small, elusive, and everlasting Nightmare World without hope. What would be the next step?

Perhaps to Grimm, this Nightmare World, which leeched on the Sorcerers World to exist, was incredibly vast, yet it was too small to those Dreadlord Servants and Dreadlords who had lived for countless decades.

After all, this was merely an inner part of a world!

As the First Servant of Withering Corruption Dreadlord who supported Nightmare Mist Dreadlord, Gluttony King frowned slightly after looked at Gemini King, saying, “Gemini, we only have to represent those great Dreadlords on the preliminary negotiations, there is no need to activate…”

Gluttony King was halfway through his persuasive speech; his pupils suddenly dilated as his forty-meter long gigantic hand gave a reflexive smash toward the giant ape leaping toward him.

Such incredible speed!

The outburst of the giant ape’s brute force managed to knock away Gluttony King’s large hand.

What surprised Gluttony King was that the Nightmare Hunter was aiming at Gemini King that was standing beside him.

It was a one hundred percent demonized Gemini King. The strength the demonized Main Gemini possessed was indomitable, overwhelming Grimm in every aspect. If Vice Gemini did not constrain Main Gemini with its life, not even Wailing King could stop the completely demonized Gemini King in his Nightmare Realm

The potential of Nightmare Mist Dreadlord’s First Servant was beyond imagination.

Thud!

Grimm ended his battle with the one hundred percent demonized Gemini King within seconds. Plus, with the damage he had taken from Gluttony King’s reflex, Grimm’s upper body was sliced in half by bloody nails, as he landed a few hundred meters away.

“Hmph…”

Blood streamed out of the corner of his mouth before Grimm spurted out a mouthful of blood. It seemed that he was at the brink of collapse.

It only took a few seconds for Grimm to be in such a miserable condition in his battle with two First Servants of the Dreadlords. Dreadlord Servants surrounded Grimm only to look at him but did not harm him.

Four of the strongest Dreadlord Servants had different perspectives on the current situation. They feared each other’s strength, and Grimm was not weak either.

If all of the strongest Four Dreadlord Servants were to reach an agreement, Grimm would be nothing but specks of dust.

“Hahaha, uh…”

Before Grimm collapsed, he looked upon the Dreadlord Servants as if he was victorious. He spurted another mouthful of blood as his body split into two.

Puzzled, Gluttony King smirked coldly as Grimm fell onto the ground.

“Pathetic.”

On the other end, everyone’s expression changed, including Rage King and Wailing King.

“Oh, no!”

“This is not good!”

Boom!

A flash of blood spilled out of Gluttony King’s body. Gluttony King could sense a pair of scarlet eyes dazzling with a killing instinct as ten bloody ape nails pierced through his bones.

Swoosh!

Gluttony King withdrew backward instinctively, dodging a killing blow. The pain on his body was excruciating; all he could think of was the tail that bonded Main Gemini and Vice Gemini.

The tail! It had been sliced apart!

“Two hundred percent demonization!?”

Only Rage King had the record of fighting evenly against Nightmare Mist Dreadlord in his Nightmare Realm.

The truth was all the four strongest First Dreadlord Servants could only defend themselves against Dreadlords in their Nightmare Realm.

The only one who could fight a Dreadlord outside his Nightmare Realm was the two hundred percent demonized Gemini King!

Both Main Gemini and Vice Gemini had to be in a demonized state at the same time. The cost of which was losing their minds to become a monster that only desired to kill.

Only after a killing blow, could they both recover their consciousness.

The moment Grimm sliced the tail into half, Vice Gemini on Main Gemini’s shoulder opened its eyes. Its bright eyes changed from that of suffering in pain into bloody-red killer eyes; the sign that Gemini King was about to lose his mind.

Vice Gemini gradually submerged into Main Gemini’s shoulder.

“Stop him!”

The injured Gluttony King lifted his large hand, and opened his Gluttonous Mouth in the midst of his pain. A great force of suction tried to hold back the two hundred percent demonized Gemini King from attacking his surrounding Dreadlord Servants.

Almost immediately, Gemini King broke free from the suction of Gluttony King’s Gluttonous Mouth with ease!

Gemini King appeared in a wild and twisted posture a few hundred meters away, It happened so fast, as two arm shadows collided, and bloody ape nails cut a Dreadlord Servant into ten pieces.

Swoosh!

That was only seconds ago when Gemini King had cut an unknown follower of Nightmare Mist Dreadlord. Now it had appeared in front of a Nightmare Mire Dreadlord’s follower, clenching his fist, and throwing a fatal punch at light’s speed.

Wham! This Dreadlord Servant used its body split nightmare ability.

The punch landed on the ground as the Dreadlord Servant split itself into half, left and right, with a huge space between them. Before he could even feel relieved, five blades of bloody ape nails sliced from the left, cutting him into five pieces.

Well, so much for being lucky.

“Yes, just like that, just like that!”

Grimm revived himself with his Immortal Body ability, losing more than 10,000 Fright Energy in the process. Yet the atmosphere was nurturing him with countless supplies of Fright Energy in the amount of thousands. Grimm replenished his Fright Energy at a shocking rate.

Two factions of Dreadlord Servants each fighting in the name of Nightmare Mist Dreadlord and Nightmare Mire Dreadlord.

Every Dreadlord Servant killed was Grimm’s Fright Energy supply.

Grimm was aware that the Dreadlord Servants were no longer hundreds in numbers but thousands as they kept on pouring into the scene.

Roar!

Rage King combined his strength with Gluttony King to have an even fight with the two hundred percent demonized Gemini King, stopping him from killing Dreadlord Servants at his will.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Wailing King dragged his hundred meter tall body and moved toward Grimm, the giant ape, who had significantly shrunk.

Grimm, the giant ape, grinned widely, exposing his fangs and displaying his fierce eyes.

Although Grimm had absorbed a lot of Fright Energy, it was still low compared to the Fright Energy he had lost in reincarnation.

“Your fate shall be decided by the first Dreadlord!”

Dreadlord Servants were not bothered by the conflict between Nightmare Mist Dreadlord and Nightmare Mire Dreadlord. The decision on the Nightmare World’s direction was entrusted onto these Dreadlords in its entirety.

The wailing sound made by Wailing King’s belly button constrained Grimm from making any movement like a vast web.

Every Spiral Mark on Grimm’s body began to intensify. It was almost impossible for Grimm to move a limb.

“Ah…”

Grimm, the giant ape, struggled with his bulky arms. He roared in agony as he was utterly subdued by Wailing King’s Wailing Web in his Nightmare Realm.

“Huh? Your strength… ”

As his web constrained Grimm, Wailing King sensed that Grimm’s strength was gradually increasing. He was impressed and wanted to say something, but he stopped suddenly.

Other than Gemini King, who was held down by Gluttony King and Rage King, all seventy Dreadlord Servants stopped in their attacks. They felt the presence of an oppressing force closing in on them. A humongous creature made its appearance.

Finally, a Dreadlord had arrived!

Which Dreadlord could it be?

What would happen to Grimm now?

Billions of flora and fauna in the Nightmare World belched black energy above them, moving toward a hundred-meter-tall gigantic ugly monkey in the air. It was a Dreadlord who had collected billions of Fright energy and had fully converged himself into Fear Energy. It gazed upon Grimm.

“It is… Stalker Dreadlord!”

WIth Grimm captured, Wailing King’s eyes were full of questions as he murmured to himself.
