A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 540: The Genius Knight

One day later.

The Sorceress who was responsible for recruiting Sorcerer-Apprentices saluted Grimm, “I heard that Master Grimm was a Demon-Hunter from the Holy Tower of Seven Rings. This time, the Moth Frog Town is able to receive such a large number of Sorcerer-Apprentices all thanks to you. I believe that your population growth mission in Moth Frog Town will be successfully completed. ”

The Sorceress’ magic staff was wrapped in layers of tender green leaves, exuding a breath of life, and her face was slightly wrinkled like Grimm’s, but Grimm felt that the actual time of living experienced by her was lower than his own.

Unconsciously, Grimm was already an old Sorcerer with considerable qualifications.

Behind the Sorceress stood a total of fourteen children, all of whom were selected from the Moth Frog Town.

Out of the fourteen children, nine of them were accepted by the Sorceress under Grimm’s directions after witnessing their knowledge. The other five children had a mental strength of 10 or more.

It was worth mentioning that when the merchant gave Grimm a manor as a bribe, his daughter’s mental strength was also more than 10!

In other words, he could have kept this wealth.

Grimm smiled slightly under his Mask of Truth, “The credit isn’t mine for the taking, I was just lucky.”

The Sorceress then took out a mission pact and gave it to Grimm.

“You can rely on this mission pact to announce the fourteen Sorcerer-Apprenticeship missions, or one Sorcerer mission plus four Sorcerer-Apprenticeship missions within the next ten years at the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy. This mission pact is effective for ten years. If it is not used until the Sorcerer-Apprentice recruitment of the next session, it will be automatically void. ”

Phew…

Grimm was relieved. With this mission pact, there was no need to go to Vivian in person and trouble her with too many things in the next ten years.

Besides, Vivian…

Grimm sighed after thinking about her.

“Snap, snap, snap, snap. Listen, sorcerer etiquette is more important now that you have come to the Sorcerer Academy, and you must always respect Sorcerers who are stronger than yourselves. This is no longer a simple etiquette, but a law of the Sorcerer Academy.”

Little Myna had been an etiquette tutor for three years at the Knights Teaching Academy. Enigma #1 was like a puppy, not only was it inseparable from, but was also a deterrent for Little Myna to discipline his students.

“Yes, Lord Myna.”

“Got it, Lord Myna…”

The children nodded honestly and agreed, Little Myna’s face was pleased, and he nodded proudly. “Come back if you have time after becoming Sorcerer-Apprentices a few years later. Senior Sorcerers look down on my basic sorcery knowledge, but it’s more than enough for you. Do you understand?”

“Yes, Lord Myna!”

“Yes, Lord Myna…”

Grimm gave the mission pact to the accountant behind him, turned to the Sorceress and said, “As usual, everyone please enjoy my carefully prepared dinner here.”

“You are so kind…”

Five years later.

Unknowingly, Grimm had been in the Moth Frog Town for more than eight years.

The exploitation of the Crooked Fang Mountain gold mine allowed Grimm’s accountants and nobles involved in road construction to obtain high profits.

Today, the Moth Frog Town was following the second step of Grimm’s plan to build the second part of the road from the Moth Frog Town to the Doma River, which was also the road section from the Crooked Fang Mountain to the Doma River. It was expected to be completed in ten years.

Although the road had not yet been repaired, while the Doma River Port was still under preliminary planning and had not been built yet, a large number of pioneer merchants had already taken resources from Moth Frog Town, and brought wealthy returns to the residents of the town.

Thanks to Grimm’s road construction plan, a large number of jobs had been added to the town. At the same time, the exchange of the merchants’ trade resources had initiated the set up of a farm around the city to expand its revenue.

The increase in wealth, the increase in the number of jobs, and the education in etiquette had significantly reduced the crime rate in the small town. At the same time, there was an increase in birth rates whereas death rates had been greatly reduced!

Even Grimm’s research found that the average life expectancy of the small town’s residents seemed to have increased.

The extension of their life span was equivalent to an indirect increase in the small town’s resident population, which was something that Grimm had never thought of before.

As for the migration of immigrants, although the small town initially had some wealth, but there were no signs of large-scale migration of immigrants.

On this day, Grimm took a dozen city guards to the Knights Teaching Academy as it was the annual Knights Academy’s Graduation Assessment Day!

The Knights Academy only provided free education for young children under the age of sixteen. These children would be assessed once when they leave the academy at the age of sixteen.

According to the assessment, a small batch of Knight graduates with the most outstanding results would be directly employed by the governor’s office as the town guards, while other Knight graduates with excellent grades would often be favored by some nobles and great merchants, and would be hired by private contracts.

In previous years, Grimm would not go to the Knights Graduation Assessment except for the first session, but this session was different because in this batch of the Knights Teaching Academy graduates… a genius was born!

A sixteen-year-old, vigor-stimulating, Legendary Knight!

Legendary Knights were scarce. As far as Grimm knew, the Moth Frog Town had never had a Legendary Knight, but a sixteen-year-old Legendary Knight was born in the Knights Teaching Academy. As the governor, Grimm was naturally surprised.

With this Legendary Knight, and with a little training, some planned schedules could be greatly advanced.

More than a dozen old college Knight Trainers with various styles stood in front of the stage in front of Grimm, giving orders to more than three hundred Knight graduates, and arranging for each one to enter the assessment area.

Little Myna stood on the top of Enigma No. 1, he was also a member of the Knights Academy Trainers.

After a day’s time, the assessment was completed, and each Knight’s assessment results were listed neatly in front of Grimm with a large number of both nobles and merchants who were qualified to hire Knights.

Grimm alone summoned the sixteen-year-old Legendary Genius Knight named Muyi from the Cavaliers Academy.

“Are you an orphan in the Moth Frog Town?”

Grimm sat on a high platform while looking down at the Legendary Knight kneeling down before him. He felt the weak vital energy on his body and evaluated his constitution.

Ordinary humans were too fragile.

Even for this so-called Legendary Knight, his constitution was only about 20, not even as good as some infants born as powerful foreign life.

“Yes, governor. When I was seven years old, one year before you, my great lord, became the governor of the Moth Frog Town, my parents were killed by a monster outside the town and their bodies were devoured.”

Muyi said with a choked voice.

The Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy was established in a desolated place that had never been developed in the Sorcerers World.

In such a place, some beasts and bugs that could be easily killed by Sorcerers were enough to pose a lethal threat to normal human beings. The ordinary humans could only live in the “greenhouse” developed and cleaned up near the Sorcerer Tower.

‘A foreign survivor?’

It was not that he was never tested by Sorcerers, but it was too difficult.

The Foreign World and the Sorcerers World often had some insignificant law changes, but they were enough to completely exterminate the ordinary human immigrants.

Comparatively speaking, the descendants of some Asians left in the Foreign World by some Refinery Sorcerers in the underground abyss could better adapt to foreign environments.

Since he was also an orphan, Grimm’s affection for the Legendary Knight naturally increased.

After nodding, Grimm said lightly: “By looking at your score, the full score of the literacy assessment is two hundred, and you only have one hundred and ten. Although such a score is reasonable for an average Knight, if you want to be one step higher in the Sorcerers World to see its true colors, it is simply impossible. ”

One step higher?

Sorcerers World!?

Muyi still had a somewhat immature face as he looked at Grimm. For a Knight, he had no knowledge of the Sorcerers World as a whole, or even a vague concept of its general laws.

Even for Grimm, it was only after he was officially a Sorcerer that he gradually began to have a vague understanding of the Sorcerers World.

Under his truthful visage, Grimm said solemnly: “If you are only satisfied with the world in front of you, then I will appoint you as the third commander of the Moth Frog Town Squad and you will be given a noble’s status. If you are not satisfied with the world in front of you and are thinking of entering the Sorcerers World…”

Grimm suddenly took out a contract and threw it at Muyi.

“Sign this contract and become my Knight Attendant for more than forty years when I continue to be the governor. I will arrange for you to learn the basics of the Sorcerers World within the next few years. After the contract has been fulfilled, I will help you complete your transformation with the constitution of a Great Bloodfalls Lavawyvern’s Bloodline Sorcery, guiding you to the path of the Underground Abyss Sorcerer Academy of the Sorcerers World. ”

The vigor-stimulating Legendary Knight would have a certain degree of improvement in his life. At the same time, he could accept the transformation by the Bloodline Sorcery like a Sorcerer, along with its side effects.

Grimm looked at Muyi, with his voice sounding like a devil’s temptation.

“There, you will have the identity of a Knight and the name of a Sorcerer. Think about it!”
