At the border area of the Shadow Land.

Fifteen years had passed since the Demon-Hunters launched the attack on Shades. A large number of Dark Sorcerers had been mobilized to the Shadow Land to eradicate native Amonros that stubbornly went against the sorcerersʼ will. Machine Heart Victor was among the Dark Sorcerers that were sent.

Victorʼs machine arm was seen under the wide and grayish-black sorcerer robe, with a machine tail at the back. The other arm was also fully equipped with mechanical gear, while he flew at high speed at low altitude. Waves of wind flew past his ears while he tried to hunt down more than ten Golden Amonros that were in a hopeless situation.

”Hehe, stop being so a naïve. Those defending have zero chance against me.”

Victor laughed grimly and opened his mouth and blasted a ray of laser toward an Amonro that was the last one among the escaping Amonros. It let out a scream before its corpse fell in a mist of blood.

The Amonros that were escaping were shocked and screamed, while constantly moving their four tiny hooves to increase their speed during their escape in the air.

Buzz…

Two mechanical bees flew over to Victor, then a snapping sound was heard when a metal cover opened on his metal arm—the two bees flew into the arm.

”Life messages from two drops of saliva? Hmm, it would be enough it were only low-level sorcerer spells.”

Victor maintained his sneer while mumbling a sorcery curse. Magical power was stimulated and lines of energy that were dark green formed in the air, as the surrounding atmosphere was then filled with mysterious energy.

A moment later, two of the Amonros that were escaping fell from the sky. Victor swiftly moved past them with two light beams that pierced through their bodies, and only mists of blood remained.

Victor followed the escaping Amonros like a relentless grim reaper.

Victor had killed countless of Amonros throughout all these years of killings; he had achieved his highest personal standard of collecting the Despair from the Amonros.

The Despair that Victor had collected from the Amonros had enormously increased the offense power of his sorcery against them. Each attack from Victor could easily hit a few hundred points of energy.

Similarly, it was logical that Dark Sorcerers would be scary opponents against regular sorcerers. The base of the offensive power would be increased by folds when the count that they collect was from humans.

The pursuit continued and flashed across the land of shadows, where Flesh Plants and the dark river trench were seen flashing by.

The Amonros that were fleeing knew that they had no choice but to enter the border in between the Shadow Land and the Crimson Sun World. They entered the Crimson Sun World without any hesitation, a world that was formed of fiery red desert and was extremely high in temperature.

The Amonros naturally developed a phobia toward the Crimson Sun World, since the ancient times of the Lava Giants. They disliked anything that has to do with the giants.

However, for the sorcerer that was in pursuit from behind, the Amonros had gained a second chance to survive when they took the risk to escape into the Crimson Sun World without any hesitation.

”Oh? They would rather enter the Crimson Sun World?” Victor had a delighted smile, while the terrifying ability of a Dark Demon-Hunter in solo-combat was perfectly depicted through hunting down the Amonros.

The hot sun rays shone upon Victor, while the ground seemed to be distorted by the steaming hot air. Victor had to put on his sorcerer robe as his machine arm conducted more heat compared to normal human skin.

A translucent robe covered Victor like an eggshell.

Buzz!

An ear-piercing sound was heard when Victor took out a spiral disc from the back of the robe and raised it above him with his metal arm. There were colorful and shiny runes on the disc. Victor extended his index finger as the center point of the disc, and then the disc started spiraling while the surrounding air was drawn by the powerful spiral movement of the disc. Suddenly, rays of elemental light expanded to the surroundings.

The shocking moment caught the attention of the Amonros who were escaping and they looked back from the front.

The Amonros then let out their howls of despair, while they tried their best to surpass their partners to give themselves a chance to survive.

Poof! Poof! Poof! Poof! Poof!

Five of the Amonros were sliced in half by the spiraling disc before it returned to Victor without any stains of blood.

The remaining Amonros saw and became even more terrified; they continued to save themselves from Victor that was constantly chasing from behind…

After half an hourglass of time.

Victor snickered after he had killed the last Amonro, while he kept his metal arm under the sorcerer robe. He had arrived at the deeper part of the Crimson Sun World after the long flight, where there were only waves of red sand everywhere.

Perhaps, it would be a good idea to spend more time hunting in at the border between the Shadow Land and the Crimson Sun World?

Victor was deep in thought for his future plans.

There were many Amonros that refused to yield and join the Shadow Empire, due to their hatred and fear toward the Demon Hunters. They would rather choose to go across the Crimson Sun World and seek refuge from other Shadow Lands.

The Demon Hunters would also hunt down and kill such Amonros.

There were quite a number of Dark Sorcerers who preferred to roam in between the border to hunt down Amonros that intended to sneak out of the Shadow Land. They would always end up with fruitful rewards as the battle power of Amonros would be greatly affected when they were in the Crimson Sun World.

Victor calmed down and agreed to such a method, and then he decided to roam and hunt around the border.

Ten days had passed.

In the boundless fiery red desert, there was an active volcano with raging fumes far across at about seven-thousand meters away toward the north-west direction. Victor stopped roaming in the air when he raised his head and saw it—he could not believe what he was looking at.

”Is this…”

Waves of shadow clouds seemed like torrential waves of tsunami with wild turbulence. When looked from afar, it seemed to be getting closer from across the sky.

It was still the boundless desert under the endless Crimson Sun. After the blink of an eye, it had all changed into the Shadow World and expanding quickly toward the deeper part of the Crimson Sun World.

Such a situation could be described as an eclipse of the sorcerer world, where shadows swept through the entire world.

Victor was stunned as he looked around. The skies were all covered by shadow clouds that were dark gray with a subtle hint of purple—no sunlight could pass through the clouds.

Reflection from the skies and the land had turned everything in the surroundings pale gray.

”Oh no!”

Victorʼs expression changed when he realized something unusual, he immediately used Positioning Sorcery and flew toward the sorcerersʼ headquarters in the Shadow Land at full speed. He panicked while sweat started to trickle down from his forehead.

After a few hourglasses of time.

Shh…

The buzzing sound from the surroundings grew more rapid, as if there were demons hidden in the shadows while rumbling with a deep hum. The shadows that surrounded Victor wanted to feed on his flesh and blood.

”D*mn you!”

Victor howled and rays of powerful lightning blasted the surroundings, immediately—tens of Amonros fell from the sky after being struck by it.

From the flash of the lightning, Victor caught a glimpse of tens of thousands of Amonros in his surroundings. They were staring at him, and his hope was then diminished.

There were huge differences in the ability of these low-level Golden Amonros. They have now possessed the ability to fly and there were also big changes in their emotions.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh, swoosh…

Victor blasted lightning beams around his surroundings, like a candle during the night, contributing its own light to shine under the dark skies.

However, the source of light from the candle would be incomparable to the darkness of the night—only a light blow would be required to diminish it, and the endless night could then easily devour the tiny source of light.

Rays of lightning beams were shot from Victorʼs body. He released several of his ultimate skills without considering the cost—echoed by the rumbling sound of the lightning. However, the shadow energy in the surroundings grew stronger and Victorʼs light barely remained beside him.

Not long after.

”No…”

A long hiss was heard, and the light disappeared—leaving only eternal silence.

…

The Shadow World at the center of the endless Crimson Sun World.

It was a lava ocean filled and combined with pure golden lava flowed endlessly from the volcanoes in the surroundings.

At the center of the lava ocean, there was a Sacred Lava Mountain that was above ten thousand meters tall.

There were Lava Giants that worked in the lava ocean where they would collect Combustars at its purest form in between the reefs and the lavas.

While the endless Enigmatic Energy had formed an Enigmatic Hurricane Seal that was a few thousand meters thick and it had covered across the skies and land outside of the lava ocean.

This was the perishing land mentioned by the Amonros, which was the place of origin for the ancient Lava Giants, named the Sacred Lava Mountain.

At that moment, the endless shadow clouds had merged the entire Shadow World all together as one, and the skies above the Crimson Sun World was only left with the last Eternal Light.

A pack of Golden Lava Giants raised their heads to the peak of the Sacred Lava Mountain—a place where they felt peace, while the indescribable and delightful feelings could be seen from their fiery eyes.
