Under the guidance of the Water-Crystal Turtle, Grimm and the other sorcerers continued their journey in the crooked and winding flesh barrier.

Beneath the Mask of Truth, Grimm carefully observed the test tube in his hand. The green liquid in the test tube produced sizzling sounds when it was shaken. The complicated energy emitting from the liquid was something that Grimm had never encountered before.

After some careful consideration, Grimm took a fragment of a Sorcerer Shard and dabbed it in some green liquid with the control of forces. Grimm threw the stained shard towards the flesh barrier beside him while he continued flying.

Poof! Without any obstruction, the Sorcerer Shard penetrated and disappeared into the flesh barrier.

“The strange tentacle is indeed closely related to the underground nest of Amonros. It might even be the builder of this strange underground nest,” Grimm speculated.

The other three sorcerers who were following behind Grimm started to ponder after they witnessed the scene.

The temperature in the passage was gradually increasing as they went deeper underground.

Hmm?

Some sorcerers suddenly halted. They saw a fork in the passage. A thin layer of fat membrane blocked their view and there was some dark green fluid circulating in the fat membrane.

Dark Sorcerers were known for their ability for combat and destruction. Without hesitation, Grimm and the others took down the membrane with some magical spells and another flesh layer was revealed.

They were stunned by what they saw.

‘Is this a nursery room?’

Hundreds of Amonro younglings were placed neatly in the layers of the flesh. Their skins were still soft and their tiny tails had yet ossify. They were like kittens still struggling and their eyes not ready to open yet.

This…

Suddenly, all the sorcerers’ faces were filled with a delighted expression!

It was a misconception to assume that the Sorcerer Civilization was built through conquering worlds with their magical power and the endless plundering of resources.

The Sorcerer Civilization was built on the foundation of wisdom. They handled different civilizations using different methods during their crusades.

In general, there were five different methods used during a crusade.

The most ruthless method was usually applied to the creatures that had no intelligence in a primitive world. Only killing, enslaving and plundering were involved during the crusade of such primitive worlds. The Demon-Hunters only needed to be aware of the higher-level creatures after the crusade.

Second to that was the low-level worlds like the Enigmatic Shadow.

Their resistance ability was relatively weak. After the initial occupation and stabilization of the base, the sorcerers would begin to enslave the Amonro’s younglings and to cultivate them according to their needs. They would also allure and regroup the tribes that had given up on fighting to establish a community of fallen abettors during the aftermath of crusades.

On the contrary, some tribes had stronger resistance abilities. The Demon-Hunters would need more time to conquer these indigenous worlds.

To deal with such a world, the Sorcerer World would first infuse a certain level of fear into them before signing a high-level contract with them. They would continue to influence them through the promotion of the value of the sorcerer civilization, and to produce worthless Sorcerer Coins, that were similar to Sorcerer Essences, in the foreign world. On the surface, the Sorcerer Coins could be used to exchange for products from the Sorcerer Civilization, but in actuality, the Sorcerer World had achieved a secret channel in plundering.

Following that was the subordinate world in the Sorcerer Civilization system – a massive world that contained seven levels of creatures.

Lastly, the chaotic world which was ruled by anger and violence. The reason was because this world was incomprehensible and the rules were strange. The Sorcerer Civilization found it difficult to invade them, which, needless to say, would inevitably come at a great cost.

The Amonro younglings in the nursery were right in front of the sorcerers. If they brought the younglings back to the Void Fortress, the Stigmata Sorcerer might cultivate them to become the leader of the Amonro Abettor tribe. In return, they would surely receive a lot of sorcerer rewards.

The four of them looked at each other while thinking about what to do.

If they transported these younglings back at this stage, time would be wasted and they might lose the opportunity to obtain honor. However, if they chose to go for honor, only one of them would be able to obtain it while others would not only return empty-handed but they would lose all these easy rewards in front of them too.

What if they opened the Space Shard here?

It was quite difficult to find the Destiny Lever this deep underground. It would take at least one full day to open the Space Shard, which was equivalent to making a trip back to the Void Fortress.

Gurgle!

The flesh barrier here seemed softer and weaker than the other areas. One of the sorceresses suddenly said, “Thirty Sorcerer Essences! I’m willing to pay thirty Sorcerer Essences for these younglings.”

Grimm looked at her and asked, “Are you planning to give up on the mission of the Great Bloodfalls Lavawyvern at the underground lava lake?

Thirty Sorcerer Essences! The reward that she would receive from this first batch of younglings would definitely far exceed this amount.

She mockingly replied, “I’m not sure if I’d receive the honor. Compared to such an uncertainty, I’d rather choose these for guaranteed rewards.”

Grimm, Dark Moro and the other sorceress looked at each other and agreed to her proposal.

After receiving ten Sorcerer Essences each, they continued to advance into the underground, leaving the excited sorceress behind to collect the Amonro younglings in the nursery.

With the continuous increase in the underground temperature, the Water-Crystal Turtle that was hooked on to Grimm’s earring had to completely disperse its water element and transform into a tiny crystal dot to hide inside Grimm’s ear.

Puff…

Pieces of red leaves began to appear on the flesh barrier. These leaves were about the size of a palm. It seemed to feed on the fire element energy. The leaves showed clear veins and grew out of the flesh barrier.

“The density of the fire element here indicates that our destination is just around the corner.”

Grimm who was leading in front suddenly stopped. He looked at the other two with his wise and rational eyes beneath his Mask of Truth.

Dark Moro extended both his arms and released a few strings of purple-black smoke. After a while, he said in a deep voice, “According to the calculation of the fire element density, the lava layer should be sixty meters beneath our feet. From the gradient of the slope, our destination is about nine hundred meters away.”

The sorceress nodded and retrieved a crystal ball from her sleeve. The crystal ball slowly levitated in the air, emitting a dim light and forming invisible waves that expanded to every direction.

This was the signal that the sorcerers left before entering the underground. It served as a coordinate for summons if there were any other sorcerers nearby to help them with the mission.

Half an hour later, the sorceress frowned, “I only managed to contact twelve sorcerers, another sorcerer team found another more valuable mission. The remaining of my contacts did not respond to me.”

Dark Moro nodded and turned to Grimm.

Grimm put away his crystal ball and said, “Plus one, that person is already on the way.”

Of course, Grimm contacted Victor.

After waiting for two hourglasses, all sixteen sorcerers, including Victor, had arrived. However, he was disheveled, it seemed like he had encountered some trouble.

Small magic arrays had been laid out in the passage. These arrays were able to detect any Golden Amonros within the flesh barrier with its resonance.

Dark Sorcerers with various styles and abilities gathered together, but they all fixed their eyes on Grimm. They were waiting for Grimm to explain the content of this mission.

Behind the grey and white Mask of Truth, Grimm carried long golden hair. His oversized grey sorcerer robe could not cover his buffed and well-built physique. With a dimly glowing magic staff, he looked at everyone with his calm and cold eyes.

Under the subtle control of the two forces, it was like a pair of invisible arms opening a small bottle of collected Demonic Blood Moss. The Demonic Blood Moss glowed in a dark bloody color. It looked mysterious and demonic.

Grimm gently pointed at the Demonic Blood Moss and it floated in the air. It moved slowly towards the underground space automatically. It seemed that there were some mysterious and unexplainable objects in the underground space that attracted the moss.

Grimm explained, “According to the information I possess, the origin of the Demonic Blood Moss derived from a creature called the Lavawyvern. Amonro raised three of these creatures in the Lava Lake in the underground space. The Amonros are planning to mobilize the Bloodfalls Lavawyvern using the underground lava layer because they are not afraid of the lava temperature. Our mission is to kill at least one of the dragons to obtain the Demonic Blood Moss antigen to exchange for honor rewards and to kill anything that resists the will of the Great Sorcerer.”
