‘I have to do something!’

Grimm’s consciousness struggled to save himself from his imminent death, he pulled away in an instant, Grimm’s crooked body used up all his strength to change his direction once, the dark shadow contracted quickly and slashed all the fleshy mushroom buildings in half.

Grimm took flight and headed towards the original coordinates without slowing down.

With both hands casting the Eternal Flame, Grimm activated all his Magic Power in one go, hoping to break the dark grey energy binding his waist, but it was useless.

The difference in the level of the nature of his Eternal Flame and this clump of dark grey energy was far too wide.

It seemed that the core that was releasing this dark grey energy was getting closer, Grimm felt something happening in the surrounding space, layers and layers of the void were being extruded, and he himself, along with the space, was changing and becoming smaller.

‘This is…

‘The Enigmatic Seal System, this is without a doubt a Void Sealing Sorcery!

‘No, something has to be done, I cannot let this go on.’

Grimm could feel himself shrink rapidly as he fell backward, he observed the objects around him that flew by in a flash, they were around a meter long. He was close to the core of the Long-ranged Teleportation.

‘Hmm?’

While shielding himself from the blast, Grimm reluctantly lifted his head. He saw the Bright Sorcerers under the gloomy clouds, it was as if a massive vortex was going to devour all of them. The Stigmata Sorcerers of the Holy Order at the center of the vortex seemed to have noticed the sudden appearance of a Level 4 Guardian of the Shadow World.

Voidships that were three meters long lined up neatly one by one, as the coarse blast cannons accumulated energy for a brief while, beams of purple blast were released together, and a deafening explosion followed, what ensued were continuous earthquakes as the crowded swarm of Amonro’s Shadow Legion army was blasted and white patches of areas could be seen.

At the same time, the pulling force on Grimm’s waist seemed to have stopped.

His eyes lit up with pleasant surprise, there was a chance now for him!

Grimm roared deeply. He almost used up all of the Magic Power storage in the magic stones of his Demon-Hunter armor, as he cast a long-distance Teleportation Spell. The pinpointed void coordinates below the Myna suddenly warped underneath Grimm, and Grimm disappeared in a blur on the spot.

Something that disappeared together with him, was the energy cluster around his waist.

As the blurriness cleared away, Grimm saw the Myna with a face full of tension and a Dark Sorcerer. His first reaction was to look down, and he saw that the black energy was still around his waist, at the same time the void that appeared behind him once again emitted an ear-piercing sound of crystals scraping against each other…

“No!”

Grimm was once again forced to fly backwards, under the Mask of Truth, Grimm’s eyes were slightly hopeless as sceneries flew past him on both sides.

The Magic Power of his Demon-Hunter gear has finally run out, and the Magic Power Grimm had was not enough to cast another long-distance Teleportation Spell, there was no hope left.

The mountains from afar and corpses underneath him, rivers of blood, suspicious-looking fleshy buildings passed by Grimm’s view quickly.

Suddenly, his face was serene, Grimm who awaited for his death suddenly felt something different. This feeling was actually himself being locked on by the Repulsion and Attraction Spell!

This…

Grimm could not believe the surprise, as if holding onto a straw of hope, he cast the Repulsion and Attraction Spell in the same direction, both forces superimposed, and an afterimage of someone was chasing after Grimm who was flying backward.

It was an Elemental Anatomy Refinery Sorcerer who was wearing golden bloody-reddish iron armor, around him was energy that was red as blood floating unevenly, under the elegant black hair was a face full of scars and stitches. When this sorcerer felt the same spell that was cast by Grimm himself and met him face to face, his eyes were full of disbelief!

Ha!

This Anatomy Refinery Sorcerer together with Grimm drew towards each other, he grunted loudly, both his feet then stomped onto the ground, as if trying to stop Grimm from flying backwards.

A loud crack was heard, and he slid two long gullies on the ground.

The unfamiliar Anatomy Refinery Sorcerer had the blood red energy dug deep into the ground one by one, and it seemed to be slowing Grimm down.

There was a ‘clap’ sound, as Grimm and this stranger tightly held each other’s hands.

The two pairs of eyes looked at each other, both were a bit baffled, but before they could say anything to each other, the strong force around Grimm’s waist pulled and he flew back out.

‘Snap’, the crushing pressure around Grimm’s space appeared once again, with a speed that could be tracked by the naked eye, Grimm who had returned to normal from the original long-ranged Teleportation Spell, had started to shrink, with just a few breaths the hand that Grimm was holding on to had become just as thin as a child’s arm.

“Are you Master Peranos’ student? Or are you Orton’s student?” the Sorcerer abruptly asked Grimm, and he seemed to be considering something.

Grimm’s hopeless eyes sparkled, and he answered without hesitation, “I am Master Peranos’ third student that he accepted at the Black Isotta Sorcerer Academy two hundred and twenty years ago.”

Right at this instant, Grimm felt that this Elemental Anatomy Refinery Sorcerer in front of him was a Level 3 Great Sorcerer, Grimm felt a bit cold from the hard iron gloves.

“Third Brother’s student? Hmph, you’re a lucky bastard, I’ll use you to practice a way to not damage the skin with the Repulsion and Attraction Spell later as my reward,” he said, and followed by a loud grunt, two blood-red giant arms of energy poked out of his sleeves, and pulled the Dark Enigmatic energy behind Grimm.

Third brother?

On the other hand, Grimm was stunned by him addressing Grimm as such, he immediately thought of someone.

The ones that could address Master Peranos as third brother, were only Master Peranos’ two older brothers.

One of the master’s brothers had already advanced into a Stigmata Sorcerer, he had already known about this from Master Orton, the sorcerer in front of him could not be a Stigmata Sorcerer, then there was no need to consider more, this person had to be the master’s second brother Deidaron.

Suddenly, Grimm’s heart burnt with expectations as he looked up to this great sorcerer, his gaze filled with a bit of desire.

Huff…

Waves of elemental energy gathered from all around, Master Deidaron’s pupils turned white, the blood-red energy that turned into giant arms tore at the Dark Enigmatic energy relentlessly.

Bang!

A crisp sound echoed, the force that kept pulling Grimm backward suddenly vanished, and Grimm scraped the earth as he always did, leaving a line of gully on the ground. A rumbling sound could be heard as he landed into a ruptured flesh mushroom building.

After regaining his composure, Grimm was still in shock as he walked out from the fleshy building, the black scales on his skin slowly withdrew, at the same time unbearable fatigue came naturally, he was using his magic staff help him gain a foothold or else he would collapse.

This seemed like the aftermath of unlocking his wild instincts, he would need to activate it in the long run to get used to it.

“Hmm? You’re an elemental sorcerer, yet you can unlock wild instincts. Interesting.” Deidarion remarked as he observed Grimm. He then took out a red scroll, after a round of Energy Conservation Seal, the remaining Dark Enigmatic energy around Grimm’s waist was sealed off, it seemed like it would be used as a sample for energy research.

Grimm expressed his gratitude as he was still stunned, he told Deidarion willingly the reason why he had successfully overcome the damage on his skin caused by the Repulsion and Attraction Spell.

“Hmm, I didn’t know this is one way of achieving it, you don’t even need to change the calculation formula from the origin?”

Master Deidarion looked like he was almost one point nine meters tall, his looks were that of a young teen, his body full of vitality, the bloody red golden armor was sturdier than Grimm’s, black strands of hair flew elegantly and proudly, his arms were crossed, while strands of bloody energy with tints of black floated around him.

He seemed like he was coated with a layer of invisible mask, emitting an aura of intimidation.

Grimm used his mental strength to detect and found out that the level of the Despair of Amonro in the floating red energy was a few hundred times more than his!

This…

Just how many Amonros had to be killed!

“Your name?” Deidarion asked, even though he was talking to Grimm, he had his eyes fixed on the sky behind him.

It was the light of the sun that had accumulated in the entire battlefield, an elemental giant that was about a hundred meters tall with tens of thousands of Bright Sorcerers surrounding it came from the sky, at the same time many cold metal Voidships glowed, once again shooting into the skies with the blast cannons.

In the skies, Amonro’s Shadow army was a mess. The elemental giant that left an afterimage as it went for the skies fell, the sky and earth were silent for a moment, and an invisible force of wave blasted into every direction, many low-level Amonros and Bright Sorcerers retreated, while many of the other low-level creatures imploded and fell.

Only some of the most elite Enigmatic Amonros and Demon-Hunter sorcerers surrounded the two Level 4 creatures, a fierce battle unfolded, supporting one’s level 4 creature for success.

Grimm was about twenty thousand meters away. The invisible shockwave hit Grimm and he was blown back tens of meters, his Demon-Hunter cover was hit with small pieces of debris.

A shock wave was created by a simple roar from both Level 4 creatures, the number of sacrificed low-level creatures in the range was phenomenal.

“Grimm, there’s a level two sorcerer seven hundred and ninety thousand meters from that direction calling for backup, go there and help.”

The direction that Deidarion pointed to, was the exact opposite of where the battle between the Stigmata Sorcerers and the Guardians of the Shadow World was, after that he left a footprint on the ground and flew tens of meters away, towards the direction of the battlefield.

From that crumbling piece of land, once again a shockwave blasted, in the waves of energy explosion, a giant hole was blasted into a mountain of fatty flesh.

Grimm’s eyes flashed. On the land where the two high-level creatures were fighting, the shock waves themselves were probably enough to destroy the bodies of low-level beings.

Grimm ground his teeth, and he went towards the direction that Master Deidarion pointed to.
