Ning An's Wild Wish System

At first glance, everything seemed fair and just, without any filth involved.

Lawyer Gao simply smiled faintly and calmly said:

”Our side maintains our stance, the defendant Zhang Xiaodan must be punished to the fullest extent!”

Before the scene could erupt in commotion, Lawyer Gao continued calmly: ”Our stance is as follows: The cost of slander and rumors is too low, leading to the current distorted state of the internet in society.”

”Rumor mongers thrive while those slandered face the destruction of their homes and lives. Your Honor, is this justified?”

”In 2020, in the Yiyang Region, a female streamer directly fabricated that her boss assaulted her for greater internet attention, neglecting the grace shown by her boss previously.

Her boss’s parents and children not only suffered baseless ridicule but also faced frequent threats, ultimately resulting in her boss’s bankruptcy. The family had to move away from the familiar neighborhood; even though they won the lawsuit eventually, who compensates for the boss’s career and family’s mental anguish?”

”Furthermore, the phrase ’No girl would joke about her own purity’ became an internet catchphrase, resulting in the legal rights of most women being harmed, and increasing indifference towards vulnerable groups!”

”I urge your Honor to make a demonstrative ruling in this case for the sake of society and the nation!”

Lawyer Gao’s words, each sentence, each word, were piercing, blood-soaked, each like a thunderstorm striking the hearts of people.

And what he spoke represented the pure emotional needs of the general public today.

When ordinary people become subjects of slander, they not only suffer in silence, unable to speak out, but face severe disruptions to their normal lives directly.

After spending a lot of time, manpower, and money, they finally prove their innocence, only to receive a casual apology from the slanderer.

Not to mention those ordinary people who go to their graves unable to prove their innocence, bearing deep regret.

Therefore, upon hearing this, viewers in the live stream instantly empathized.

”I support this lawyer’s viewpoint! We can’t protect without principles, can we?”

”If the cost of slander is so low, I can hardly imagine how many innocent people will suffer in society moving forward.”

”If we can’t sentence Zhang Xiaodan this time, it would only be embarrassing.”

”...”

As Lawyer Gao’s words fell, the courtroom instantly buzzed.

Because in their eyes, Lawyer Gao’s current approach was utterly foolish.

With proof of mental illness, along with national policies to protect vulnerable groups, both strongest buffs stacked, even Zhong Kui would avoid it.

If the plaintiff insists on his point of view, then dismissing his litigation request by the judge is completely lawful, compliant, and reasonable.

After the trial ends, Zhang Xiaodan will not be sentenced but acquitted on the spot.

Therefore, many insiders in the audience frowned.

In their eyes, stubbornly resisting is not a good choice right now. It’s better to lower the standards of their demands and plan gradually.

For a moment, the scene entered a stalemate again.

”Say no more, proof of mental illness is indeed a good thing.”

”Haha, who says not? Even if you committed murder deliberately.”

”What about mental illness? Can’t anyone treat her?”

”Yeah, the law plainly states it, says ’who told you to be born a normal person without it.’”

”Damn it! Why couldn’t she encounter that ’one-stroke brother’? We wouldn’t have to waste words here; he would handle it straightforwardly!”

”Isn’t she that mental patient? My uncle is the director of the psychiatric hospital, anyone who can contact the judge for me, my uncle just has one more bed available, ensuring comfort for her.”

”...”

The barrage in the live stream started to fly again.

Everyone naturally knows that mentally ill people have many privileges.

And it’s precisely because of this understanding that the discussion’s popularity is so high.

”Plaintiff lawyer, if you continue insisting on your litigation request without new evidence, then we need to reassess and discuss.”

The female judge looked at him, her tone icy.

”I have a recording file here and request to play it publicly.”

Lawyer Gao pulled out a recording pen from his pocket, then held it high.

”Damn it, is he Doraemon? How come evidence gets churned out in sets?”

”This is damn impressive, who doesn’t want a lawyer like this for litigation?”

”Litigation? Dude, aren’t you a college student? What kind of lawsuit are you filing?”

”Cough cough cough, cashed out after pedicures, if he deceives my monthly living expense, would be fine, but mainly he scammed my semester, leaving me with no money for food.”

”Awesome!”

The live stream viewers began to boil, even Ning An became interested.

Gotta say, this kind of charm commanding the whole scene is too cool!

Wang Yi looked at the recording pen in his hand, only feeling a thorn in his back, his forehead covered in tiny beads of sweat.

When he first reviewed this case, he didn’t think these cases were very difficult.

Adding the benefits given by Zhang Xiaodan, he simply steered with the tide and took on this case.

Thought it was just an ordinary case, but damn it, turned out directly into the opponent’s trap!

The confrontation intensity directly maxed out, coupled with having a teammate constantly dragging down.

Who can understand his current pressure?

The enforcer took the recording pen, as the judge’s face darkened but reluctantly nodded, the recording inside the pen was relayed to various places on site.
