Ning An's Wild Wish System

”I’m a simple girl, don’t I have the right to be suspicious? Why are you forcing me, why are you forcing me...”

”Officer, let’s not bother you with this matter.”

”Yes, yes, this counts as a matter within our school; we can handle it ourselves.”

”Exactly, it’s obviously just a misunderstanding. It’s fine once it’s explained.”

All the female leaders present, at this time, basically stood up.

The most outrageous was Vice Director Wang, this venomous middle-aged woman, who smiled and said:

”This is just a joke among the kids, nothing major. Students don’t have deep grudges; an apology will settle it. We won’t bother the officers with this.”

Before the police arrived, these people let Zhang Xiaodan slander Li Yang without saying it was a misunderstanding or that an apology would resolve it. They even threatened to expel Li Yang and cancel his d-qualification!

But now the situation has reversed, and they turn around saying it’s just a misunderstanding, that the kids are young, and an apology will make it alright...

Seeing the change in their reactions, Wang Ziru couldn’t help but laugh in anger.

”Oh, teacher, you didn’t seem to say that just now!”

Wang Ziru is naturally hot-tempered, not to mention Zhang Xiaodan had offended her earlier. Without hesitation, she retorted:

”Just now you called the student here, without clear evidence, wanting to expel them, and even to file a lawsuit. Now Zhang’s criminal evidence is definitive, clearly violating the law, and you call it a misunderstanding?”

Li Yang stepped forward, looked at these leaders in front of him, and said word by word: ”I don’t think this is a misunderstanding, and I absolutely won’t accept an apology as compensation for slandering me.”

With these words, Li Yang successfully drew the attention to himself at the scene.

He didn’t want to cause anyone trouble.

This matter had nothing to do with others; if they wanted to retaliate, let them retaliate, but dragging Wang Ziru into it wasn’t right.

And Vice Director Wang, being contradicted by two students one after another, felt a bit embarrassed, her face showing shades of white and red, but with the police present, she couldn’t say much.

She secretly remembered these two people, though, as a middle-level leader, managing a few students, even if they’re not from the Mechanical College, would be very easy!

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the conference room became tense, everyone’s eyes looked towards the director, waiting for his final judgment.

”Um...”

After a long silence, the director finally spoke. He slowly glanced around, seeing the teachers avoiding eye contact, he felt a deep sense of sorrow.

He tried to stand tall, his long years of research had deformity his waist somewhat, and he said deeply: ”Officer, whatever needs to be done, should be done. Our school will fully cooperate; the school doesn’t belong to anyone, nor is it anyone’s immunity card!”

This was exactly the statement needed!

Officer Xiaoli nodded to him; with no resistance from the school, the following matters became much easier.

Whether it was Li Yang or Zhang Xiaodan, both filled in their personal information, signed, and stamped their respective report forms.

Once both had completed the signing and stamping and the information was confirmed correct, Officer Xiaoli nodded and collected them.

”Zhang Xiaodan, once again I ask you, is everything you reported true?”

Looking at Zhang Xiaodan’s pale face, Officer Xiaoli spoke sternly: ”According to Article 246 of the Criminal Law of our country: publicly insulting others or fabricating facts to slander others with violence or other methods, if serious, is punishable by imprisonment, detention, supervision, or deprivation of political rights for up to three years!

If you didn’t speak the truth, you might also have violated other laws, and the final sentence could be even more severe!”

”Wuu wuu wuu.”

Seeing Officer Xiaoli speaking so seriously, Zhang Xiaodan, already nervously uneasy, now became even more afraid, her head spinning, she collapsed on the ground.

She cried hoarsely, like a child who had made a mistake, repeatedly saying only these two sentences: ”I don’t know, I don’t understand... I don’t know, I’m scared, I want to go home...”

Seeing this situation, Vice Director Wang, who had always favored her, couldn’t sit still, and her mind began racing to think of solutions.

At about fifty years old, with decades of teaching experience and having stayed in high positions, her indescribable aura made anyone who went to school feel uneasy.

”Officer, isn’t what you’re saying a bit exaggerated? It’s just a minor friction between classmates, how could it lead to criminal law.”

She slowly stood up, first looked at the surrounding teachers, then smiled at Officer Xiaoli, saying: ”In my opinion, this at most falls under the ’Public Security Management Punishment Law,’ and possibly not even that. Having Zhang apologize to Li and compensate 500 yuan should resolve this.”

The big boss had spoken, and the teachers from Vice Director Wang’s faction quickly chimed in, with a stance of educating people and speaking of sage principles.

”Officer, Zhang’s intention was simply to seek fairness, not realizing it would lead to the current impact. She is still a child, don’t criticize her too harshly.”

”Zhang has no fundamental issues; everyone can make mistakes, and an apology suffices, no need to over extend the situation.”

”Yes, a young girl in a drowning state, a bit mentally unstable, very normal, everyone can understand. Moreover, Zhang is just preparing for her postgraduate exams, a pivotal time for contributing to the nation!”
