Ning An's Wild Wish System

”I’m not doing well in my studies, but is that my fault?”

”That senior at the Art Academy can do it, why can’t I?”

”I just want to get into graduate school, what’s wrong with that?”

Zhang Xiaodan was mentally broken, speaking these words unconsciously in her frenzy.

Her words made everyone present widen their eyes in astonishment.

Her lawyer suddenly looked up, his expression first blank, then puzzled, and finally shattered.

Walt?!

And in the live broadcast, the viewers were flabbergasted, their worldview shattered.

No one could have imagined that a university student could behave so atrociously!

”No, my hair! If you want to get into graduate school, study hard yourself, and if that doesn’t work, try to cozy up to the old professors at school. What good does it do to slander others like this?”

”I’ve lived this long and seen all kinds of birds in the woods, but I’ve never seen someone this shameless! We can say that it’s fine to be selfish, but not to ruin someone else for one’s own desires!”

”If, from the start, she had succeeded in her schemes, wouldn’t that young man on the other side be completely ruined? After studying for decades in hopes of fulfilling his family’s expectations, he was almost wrecked by such a little toad!”

”I didn’t expect that among those who defeated me in the college entrance exam, there would be people like this!”

”I strongly suggest that the court impose a heavy sentence on people like this, as a warning to others!”

”No, sister, acting this way makes it difficult for us to back you up!”

”Wow, am I dreaming? Can I really see a girl apologize?”

”...”

Zhang Xiaodan couldn’t withstand the pressure, exposing her vile conduct openly.

Witnessing this, Lawyer Gao decided to press his advantage.

”Opposing counsel, please honor your choice as a professional lawyer and answer me.”

”Has your client committed a criminal act!”

Zhang Xiaodan’s lawyer snapped back to reality, pondering deeply before letting out a long sigh.

”... My client has indeed committed a criminal act.”

The situation had reached a point where protecting Zhang Xiaodan was no longer a viable option for him.

He had to retreat strategically, as long as the presiding judge hadn’t delivered the verdict, there was still room for maneuver.

The female presiding judge clenched her jaw audibly.

No one told her when she accepted the money that this defendant was so stupid!

If she had known she was taking money from such a fool, she would never have let the middleman in!

But the situation had reached a point where she couldn’t afford any tricks.

After a brief discussion among the female judges, the presiding judge knocked on the desk.

”Based on the evidence submitted by the plaintiff and the defendant’s actions, we unanimously conclude that Zhang Xiaodan’s conduct violated the laws of Dragon Country.”

”The plaintiff’s charges are valid.”

”Plaintiff, do you have anything else to say?”

At this moment, Zhang Xiaodan, seemingly crazed, trembled on the chair like a quail, muttering nonsense, without responding to the presiding judge’s questions.

Seeing this, the female presiding judge turned her gaze towards her lawyer, speaking clearly:

”Then, counsel for the defendant, do you have anything to add?”

Meeting her gaze, Wang Yi nodded imperceptibly, then spoke aloud:

”Presiding judge, members of the jury, we acknowledge all of the plaintiff’s accusations.”

”However, I move to dismiss the plaintiff’s suit against my client.”

”My client suffers from a mental illness, as evidenced by the diagnostic sheet from the Municipal People’s Hospital. Please, presiding judge and jury members, review it.”

After the enforcement officers took the mental health certificate from him, Wang Yi continued:

”The doctor’s diagnosis indicates my client’s mental instability, and during episodes of mental illness, she is prone to engaging in extreme behavior.”

”Therefore, I move to dismiss the plaintiff’s suit.”

Wang Yi dared to take this case, indicating he was prepared.

Originally, according to his plan, this ace was unnecessary.

But Zhang Xiaodan’s repeatedly outrageous actions forced him to reveal this card ahead of time.

Facing unfavorable conditions, he needed to stabilize the situation first.

Only then could he gradually seek other breakthroughs.

”Please have the enforcement officers bring up the evidence provided by the defendant’s lawyer.”

Soon, the mental health certificate was delivered.

To further solidify the hard-won advantage, Wang Yi intensified his efforts:

”According to our country’s criminal law, Article 18, those unable to recognize or control their actions due to mental illness are exempt from criminal responsibility.

If a mentally ill person causes harm while unable to recognize or control their actions, and this is confirmed through legal procedures, they bear no criminal responsibility.”

”Thus, the plaintiff’s lawyer’s request is highly unreasonable, and I move for dismissal.”

Following his statement, the mostly female jury began whispering to one another.

Atop the judge’s bench, several judges exchanged opinions.

After a brief moment, they arrived at a consensus.

”After discussing among ourselves and with the jury, we find that Zhang Xiaodan’s mental state aligns with the conditions outlined in Article 18 of our criminal law.”

”The defendant’s lawyer’s requests are reasonable and lawful.”

”Please, plaintiff’s lawyer, submit a new suit request.”

The lead female judge feigned concern as she turned to Lawyer Gao, prompting him to propose a new request.

In current judicial interpretations, the authority and scope exercised by judges are substantial.

Moreover, what the defendant provided was akin to a life-saving token.
