He just didn’t want to cause trouble, but that doesn’t mean he’s afraid of it!

To say nothing else, just the attitude of that apology just now was completely insincere.

Even a clay figurine has a bit of fire in it!

”Hmm...”

Vice Director Wang was momentarily stunned; she hadn’t expected Li Yang to refute her, but she quickly regained her composure and said with a hidden edge, ”If you are not satisfied with this apology, how should Zhang offer one to satisfy you?”

As if he hadn’t noticed the coldness in the tone, Li Yang paused briefly and said resolutely, ”First of all, she must record an apology video, apologizing to me on all major online platforms. The video content must explain the entire incident from beginning to end and clear my name!”

”Secondly, she must apologize to me publicly, regardless of the occasion!”

”Finally, all the false videos she posted must be deleted, and she must ensure that the bloggers who forwarded her videos and damaged my reputation make public apologies...”

Before he could finish speaking, Zhang Xiaodan interrupted him from where she lay on the ground, tearfully saying, ”I can manage the first two, but there are so many people who forwarded the video—how could I possibly contact them all? Let alone have them apologize publicly. I just can’t do it, boo hoo.”

”Haha, that’s your problem.”

Wang Ziru laughed happily on the side, comfortably saying, ”You managed to get so many people to forward your video, so asking them to apologize publicly shouldn’t be too difficult for you, right?”

Li Yang nodded at Wang Ziru and continued without glancing at Zhang Xiaodan, ”Those are my conditions, and you have only one night to meet them. If you can manage that, I’ll forgive your slander against me and sign a letter of understanding.”

Upon hearing these conditions, Zhang Xiaodan’s first instinct was to refuse, but she quickly reconsidered and agreed, knowing that at least she had an evening to come up with a plan!

She cried even harder and nodded, saying, ”I’ll do my best, and I’ll strive to meet Li Yang’s expectations...”

Vice Director Wang, observing Zhang Xiaodan’s decision, nodded imperceptibly as well.

It was the right choice!

Once she secures the letter of understanding, she can decide how to handle things moving forward, whether they are square or round, flat or smooth.

”In that case, shall we sign the letter of understanding?”

Upon hearing Vice Director Wang’s words, the police officers, though reluctant, still had to take out the already prepared letter of understanding.

In such campus incidents, they not only prepare a report form but also a letter of understanding. After all, most of the time, just like now, victims will sign the letter for various reasons and forgive the perpetrator.

”Add Li’s words from earlier as well. Our school values fairness and justice highly.”

Vice Director Wang pretended to be earnest as she spoke, her expression serious, as if it were indeed the case.

”Alright.”

Officer Xiaoli acted quickly, placing the letter of understanding in front of Li Yang, while reminding him, ”Once you sign this letter, your previous report will be void, and you won’t be able to report this case again in the future. Do you understand?”

Li Yang picked up the pen, looked at the letter of understanding, and nodded, ”I understand.”

Seeing this scene, Zhang Xiaodan breathed a sigh of relief, realizing she was safe.

Once the letter of understanding is signed, it signifies the end of the matter.

For many academy leaders, this also meant one less headache, which was naturally a good thing.

Ning An left with the police too, but before leaving, gazed meaningfully at the group inside who had sighed in relief.

Who knew if these old folks in the ivory tower could figure it out.

Li Yang only agreed to forgive Zhang Xiaodan’s slander.

He never said he would forgive other charges!
