Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

”This is a sacred place. If not for those inferior ordinary people, it would be perfect.”

Apocalypse, who had suddenly appeared, ignored everyone else in the room. First, he used his ability to sense mutants and felt the surrounding environment.

”If you all have something to discuss, we can move somewhere else and talk.”

Charles watched Apocalypse and the others warily and spoke.

He did not want a conflict to break out here. This school was the result of his hard work. There were too many mutants here who had not yet matured, as well as quite a number of ordinary people.

Once this place became a battlefield, everything would be destroyed.

”Child, I will not destroy this place. You have done something great.”

Apocalypse slowly turned around and looked at Charles with appreciation.

However, Apocalypse’s gaze gradually changed as he looked at Charles.

From initial admiration, it turned into surprise, greed, and longing.

”You! You are the ultimate answer I have been searching for!”

Apocalypse waved his hand, and Charles’s wheelchair turned into sand, drifting toward him.

Apocalypse had discovered Charles’s ability. It was the existence he had always longed for.

”Charles!”

The first to act was naturally Professor X’s best bro, Magneto.

All the metal that had originally been moved around the room to guard against Orion Cross burst through the walls and attacked Apocalypse.

Thud!

With a muffled sound, a barrier blocked all the metal.

After casually tossing Charles to Angel, whose wings he had evolved into steel, Apocalypse turned to Magneto and said, ”Child, all of you have lost your direction because you followed the wrong guide and worshiped false gods and fragile systems.”

”I know your pain. You do not need to hide it. Pain can shape you. Your talent has been buried!”

”Follow me, and I will end those who are destroying the world I created. I will take back everything that should have belonged to us!”

Magneto’s hand, which was controlling the metal, trembled slightly as he recalled the scene of his wife and daughter being shot by arrows.

”This guy’s speech is full of emotion. If he hadn’t courted death by grabbing Charles, he might really have convinced Magneto.”

Orion Cross sat calmly on the sofa and spoke to Raven.

”That’s right. Their problem is that they’re best bros.”

Raven nodded noncommittally and even deliberately used the description Orion Cross had used earlier.

”It seems you still have not awakened. I will give you some more time to think, child.”

When Apocalypse found that Magneto remained unmoved, he frowned slightly. His teleportation ability activated, and purple energy wrapped around several people, making them vanish from the room in an instant.

”Why didn’t you act?”

After Apocalypse left, Magneto leaned against the wall with unstable breathing and looked at Orion Cross and the others in confusion.

”And here you are supposed to be his best bro. Didn’t you see it? He cares a lot about this school, so he would rather be captured than let this place become a battlefield.”

Orion Cross glanced at Magneto, then looked at the room that had been mangled beyond recognition by steel. ”I hope the money you earned working all these years is enough to pay Nina’s tuition, as well as compensate for these damages.”

Hearing Orion Cross’s words, Magneto’s expression immediately changed.

After living in seclusion and working as a laborer for all these years, Magneto truly had no savings at all.

Of course, if he wanted to get funds, he could casually go to a vault and take some.

But obviously, Charles would definitely not accept money obtained that way.

Wait. Why was he thinking about this? Wasn’t the key problem right now that Charles had been captured?

”What do we do now? We don’t even know where he went. We can only rely on you.”

Magneto took a deep breath and looked at Orion Cross, seeking help.

”I have a plan.”

Orion Cross said.

”Mm.”

”Mm.”

”Then say it already!”

Seeing Orion Cross also make a simple ”mm” sound, Magneto almost broke down.

”I’ve already told Charles the core content. The rest of the mission is up to you.”

Orion Cross pointed at his own head and said.

Everyone immediately understood. Orion Cross had used his mind-control ability to communicate with Charles.

”Won’t that ability of yours be discovered by him?”

Magneto frowned and asked.

After all, Apocalypse’s performance had been extremely strange. Just by looking at Charles, he had directly learned of his ability.

”I’m not a mutant, and this isn’t a mutant ability.”

Orion Cross spread his hands. ”Maybe when that guy talked about ’inferior ordinary people’ just now, it was because he saw me.”

”So what exactly is your battle plan?”

Diana asked curiously.

”Actually, there were originally several options.”

”For example, I could return to my universe and borrow two gems. Because the universes are similar, the gems would also be effective in yours.”

Orion Cross leaned against the sofa, showing no anxiety at all, as if the one who had been taken away was only some background extra.

”Gems?”

Aside from Orion Cross and Raven, no one else knew what he was referring to.

”Now, your mission is very simple. Find a plane and go to Egypt.”

Seeing that Magneto was about to speak, Orion Cross raised one hand toward him. ”Don’t ask why I’m not using a portal. Coordinates. I need to have been there before, or I need something from that place.”

”A plane? Follow me.”

Hank clenched his fists, stood at the doorway, and spoke to everyone.

Charles had been taken away. If not for the fact that he had just injected himself with a serum that suppressed his mutant gene, his anger would definitely have caused him to transform into Beast.

”Jean, you don’t need to come with us. Take Nina and have a proper look around the school.”

Orion Cross looked at Jean Grey, who was following behind them, then turned and spoke.

He knew that according to the original development, Jean Grey’s Phoenix Force would inevitably need to erupt in order to resolve Apocalypse in the end.

But now that he was here, Jean Grey was naturally no longer needed.

”You have to bring the professor back. I believe in you.”

Jean Grey stopped walking, looked into Orion Cross’s eyes, and nodded seriously.

The group arrived at Hank McCoy’s giant laboratory, where a fighter jet that had only been assembled halfway lay across the room.

”Don’t look at that one. I have a finished product.”

Seeing that everyone’s attention had been drawn to the half-finished aircraft, Hank pointed toward the door of another room and said.

Just as he was about to enter the password and open the door, an alarm device on Hank suddenly rang. He frowned and turned on a television in the laboratory that looked very out of place.

The news broadcast on the television made Hank’s expression change drastically.

”This is bad!”

Hank said in shock.

”What happened?”

Magneto walked to Hank’s side and, noticing that his gaze was on the television, followed it and looked over.

With just one glance, he was stunned as well.

The world’s superweapons had all been launched into space almost simultaneously five minutes ago.

Because the fear this caused was too great, even the authorities did not hide it.
