Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

Boom!!

Boom!!

The armor on Ares’s body was torn off piece by piece by Orion Cross and thrown to the ground. If a piece was too sturdy to break by hand, he pried it open with the Blades of Chaos.

The divine armor fell to the floor, instantly smashing cracks into the ground.

”Diana, do the myths ever say Ares can control lightning?”

Orion Cross kicked Ares in the knee and forced him down to the ground. Looking at the lightning continuously surging from his body, he asked.

”No. That is Zeus’s authority.”

Diana held her shield and remained on guard against Ares’s counterattack. When she heard Orion Cross’s question, she immediately answered.

”Hah! Fear. After thousands of years, this is the first time I have felt this emotion...”

Ares, pinned to the ground by Orion Cross, flickered with thunder. The skin all over his body split open, and beneath it did not seem to be flesh and blood, but molten lava.

”You should have felt fear earlier. That way, you could have been killed by Steppenwolf instead of lingering until now and wasting so much time.”

Orion Cross nailed Ares’s newly raised hands down with the two Blades of Chaos, then slammed a punch into his head.

Steppenwolf’s Parademon army could devour fear and grow stronger. During the ancient war, however, Ares, as the God of War, had not felt fear. Instead, because of that great war, he had gained unprecedented power.

That was also why he had become the only surviving god.

In a certain sense, what this world’s Ares had done was actually similar to what Orion Cross had done.

He had also killed many gods, including Zeus.

The difference was that Ares had fought a difficult battle, and even after risking his life, he had only severely injured Zeus, still leaving Zeus enough time to have Diana with the Amazon queen and create Themyscira.

As for Orion Cross’s battles, in some sense, they had also been difficult, but in the end, they had all become brutal massacres, as if those were not gods at all, but lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

A god dying would not make Ares feel fear.

But gods being killed by a mortal, killed, cut open, and chopped apart as casually as cattle and sheep by a mortal, was something Ares simply could not bear.

”I... will destroy you...”

The fear in Ares’s heart gave birth to the thought of mutual destruction. His entire body had already been forced to burst apart by divine power, with only lightning linking the separate parts together.

Do not forget that no matter how powerful Ares was, to Orion Cross, he was only a slightly strengthened second-playthrough boss.

Orion Cross pulled out the Blades of Chaos with a reverse grip, then brought both blades down together and stabbed them into Ares’s skull.

”Ahhhhhhh!!!!”

A bloody light erupted from Ares’s pupils, and a pained scream tore from his mouth.

A fierce, violent force suddenly surged from Ares’s head, and the entire sky became somewhat dim.

”I originally thought you were just an elite small fry. I didn’t expect you to be a hidden reward. Thank you for this generous gift.”

Sensing the divine power pouring out of Ares’s body, Orion Cross was slightly stunned. He stepped on Ares’s hand to express his thanks.

He had originally thought Ares could control lightning only because after defeating Zeus, he had absorbed some of Zeus’s divine power.

In the end, he had not expected this guy to have actually plundered the divine power of all the gods.

However, as the God of War, Ares could not withstand the conflict between so many different divine authorities.

Over the past thousands of years, he had transformed most of that divine power into his own divine power and sealed it deep within himself, preventing the excessively vast power from directly collapsing his already heavily injured body.

Only the divine power of Zeus, king of the gods, and part of Poseidon’s divine power had yet to be fully transformed even now.

As for Ares’s ability to temporarily use Zeus’s lightning, it was merely because he was Zeus’s son.

Boom!

Ares’s body lost its final trace of divine power. It became a charred corpse and sank into the ground.

As Orion Cross felt the power this super power bank had given him, he turned to Diana and smiled faintly. ”I heard Atlantis once went to war with you Amazons. When there’s a chance, I’ll take you to play with them.”

”You gained the Sea God’s power?”

Diana glanced at Ares on the ground, then stared blankly at the spinning ball of water in Orion Cross’s hand.

”We have to thank this pitiful Mr. God of War.”

Orion Cross pointed at the charred Ares beneath his foot and said.

To Orion Cross, divine power was essentially just a kind of energy.

Under the control of hyperdimensional magic, whether it was Zeus’s divine power, Poseidon’s divine power, or the power of Aurelion Sol obtained through a contract, all of it could be converted into one another.

A Dimensional Demon God was not necessarily the embodiment of a single life-form.

Assuming Aurelion Sol was seventy percent Dimensional Demon God, then the remaining thirty percent would be the Void and the Aspects.

Then Zeus and Poseidon were this world’s five to ten percent Dimensional Demon Gods. In essence, they were not much different, only weaker.

So even if Orion Cross had only obtained a small amount of Poseidon’s Sea God power, as long as he possessed even a trace of it, he could convert it into limitless Sea God power.

That was right. In essence, Orion Cross had also formed a hyperdimensional magic contract with Zeus and Poseidon.

It was just that this kind of contract was even more extreme than the slave contract with Aurelion Sol. It had completely replaced the original Dimensional Demon Gods.

”What should we do now?”

After resolving her destined enemy, Ares, Diana, who had been born as a god-slaying weapon, fell into confusion for a moment. She looked blankly at Orion Cross, hoping he could give her guidance.

”How should I put it? Compared to the first Ares I encountered, this one was much more adorable. Let’s give him a funeral.”

Orion Cross scattered the ball of water in his hand and pressed his palm to the ground.

The ground continuously turned into yellow sand and collapsed. Ares’s corpse sank underground and eventually fell into magma, turning to ash.

The cracks in the ground closed, and the yellow sand formed a tombstone.

Orion Cross picked up the Blade of Chaos and carved the words ”Tomb of Ares, God of War” onto it. This could be considered good enough treatment for this super EXP pack.

”Ares is dead. Will the war continue?”

Diana looked at Ares’s tombstone and asked faintly.

”Of course it will.”

Orion Cross glanced at the representatives of the various nations, whose lives and deaths were unknown, then looked at Diana. ”What? Do you want to end this war?”

”How long will it take to end? According to your prophecy.”

Diana’s heart was extremely conflicted as she asked.

”If you mean this world war, it will end this year. Very soon.”

”If you mean all wars, then they will never end.”

Orion Cross looked into Diana’s eyes and said.

”Then take me with you.”

Diana walked to the window and looked at the fog-filled city outside. She sniffed softly, then turned to Orion Cross and said.

”All right. I hope you can find a new goal over there.”

Orion Cross smiled openly and patted Diana on the shoulder.

Just as he was about to activate hyperdimensional magic and cross dimensions, he discovered that Galakrond’s scale had reacted.

Someone was praying for a summoning.

Orion Cross instinctively thought Loki’s invasion of New York with the Chitauri army was about to begin, but then he discovered...

The place the prayer came from was not the main world.
