Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

”No, Sif, he isn’t talking about you. He’s talking about me. I’m bald.”

Volstagg grabbed two handfuls of his thick hair and said anxiously.

”No, I’m asking her.”

Orion Cross stared at Sif’s neat ponytail and looked her over. ”Are you?”

”According to Norse mythology, Goddess Sif originally had golden hair, but later Loki cut off all her hair, forcing her to seek help from the dwarves.”

Jane Foster walked in holding Dr. Selvig’s book on Norse mythology and looked at Sif. ”The dwarves used gold to forge a golden wig for Sif, but Loki applied a special potion to it, causing the golden hair to gradually darken and turn black.”

”Yes, completely correct. How do you know that?”

Thor looked at them in bewilderment. Even in Asgard, only a small number of people knew about this matter. How did mortals from Midgard know about it now?

”This book recorded it? May I borrow it?”

Sif took a deep breath and calmed her emotions.

”Of course.”

Jane smiled and handed the book to Sif.

”Thank you.”

Sif took the book and quickly flipped through it. The Warriors Three curiously leaned over as well, but their gazes occasionally flicked toward Orion Cross, as if guarding against something.

”The author of this book was definitely an Asgardian, and he had something to do with Loki!”

Sif closed the book, returned it to Jane, then turned to the others and spoke.

”I think your deduction is pretty good.”

Orion Cross clapped his hands. That was right. In Earth’s myths, Loki was Thor’s uncle, inexplicably rising by one generation. Orion Cross knew that the Norse myths had been spread by an Asgardian stonemason who kept returning to Asgard. Then why would that stonemason have the courage to randomly twist the seniority of Asgard’s royal family?

If this change in seniority was viewed as one of Loki, the God of Mischief’s tricks, everything became normal. Then, connecting it to Thor: Ragnarok, when Loki disguised himself as Odin and ruled Asgard, the gatekeeper Skurge, who replaced Heimdall, was the son of that stonemason.

Think about it. An Asgardian whose favorite weapon was an Earth M16 rifle. With that level of strength, he probably could not even compare to these four background-character warriors in front of him. Did he really rely on anything but connections to sit in Heimdall’s position?

”Sif, I think you’re biased against Loki.”

”He is your king now. Even if he once did something wrong, that is all in the past.”

Thor looked into Sif’s eyes and said seriously.

”Can I beat you up while you don’t have divine power?”

Sif was so angry at Thor that she laughed. Things had already reached this point, yet Thor was still speaking for Loki. Back when she was still a little golden-haired girl, waking up to discover she had turned bald had become a lifelong childhood trauma. After finally asking the dwarves to forge her golden hair, it had turned black again. After reflecting painfully on the experience, she had decided to abandon all praise related to beauty and choose strength instead.

That was why she, Sif, had become Asgard’s greatest female warrior.

”Sif, calm down.”

The Warriors Three hurriedly held Sif back and exchanged helpless glances. One moment, she drew her sword against Orion Cross. The next, she wanted to punch Thor. Was Sif trying to challenge death today?

”I have one more question. Who exactly is he? What happened during the time I left Asgard?”

Sif pointed at Orion Cross, turned to her companions, and asked.

”He should have been sealed in Midgard by God-King Odin. Now, for reasons unknown, he has left the seal.”

Fandral glanced at the other two. Seeing that both of them had shifted their gazes away, he could only be the one to speak.

Upon hearing that Orion Cross was an ”evil existence” sealed by Odin, Sif took several steps back and looked at Orion Cross warily.

”Could it be because of the Odin Sleep?”

”If the Odin Sleep alone could let someone escape a seal, then the one you should worry about isn’t me, but your eldest prince.”

Orion Cross chuckled.

Eldest prince Hela, second princess Thor, third princess Loki. That was the real ranking.

”Why should we worry about Thor?”

The group glanced at Thor, somewhat confused.

”Who said he was the eldest prince? The place Odin sent me to was originally someone else’s seal. Guess who?”

Orion Cross swept his gaze across these uneasy gods and spoke.

”Father had another child?”

Thor immediately understood Orion Cross’s meaning. He was somewhat surprised, but also felt that it was reasonable. ”No wonder Father was so disappointed. So I wasn’t the first. He had already personally sent away two of his children.”

”Thor, now isn’t the time to be emotional.”

Sif tightened her grip on her sword, looked at Orion Cross, and said to Thor, ”An evil existence banished by the God-King has been released. We have a duty to deal with him and protect the peace of the Nine Realms.”

”Are you serious?”

Orion Cross twisted his neck and asked.

”Sif, don’t be impulsive...”

The Warriors Three were anxious. They knew that Orion Cross’s relationship with Asgard was indeed terrible, but the problem was that he had not taken the initiative to attack. He had even treated Thor, who had been thrown down here, with food and drink. If they attacked now, would that not be the same as actively provoking a war? Not to mention, there was a high chance they would be crushed and beaten.

”The one challenging you now is Asgard’s greatest female warrior, Sif. State your name!”

Sif kicked aside the tea table and the table blocking her way, raising her sword toward Orion Cross as she spoke.

”The greatest female warrior? Then where do you place Hela and Valkyrie?”

Orion Cross chuckled.

”Looks like there’s no way around this.”

The Warriors Three exchanged glances, knowing this battle could not be avoided. They could only take out their weapons as well.

”Sif, try to turn this into a battle of attrition. Once a shield and spear appear in his hands, stall him for one hour, and he’ll turn back into an ordinary person!”

Volstagg gripped his battle axe with both hands and told Sif Orion Cross’s important intelligence.

Intelligence from a hundred years ago.

Asgardians who had experienced that event all knew Orion Cross’s ability. In his mortal body, he could only maintain immortality, while the power comparable to gods could only be used for one hour a day.

”Understood!”

Sif tightened her grip on the sword in her hand and watched Orion Cross warily, waiting for the shield and spear her companion mentioned to appear.

Orion Cross did not transform into the War Aspect at all. He did not even take out the Blades of Chaos. He directly stepped forward, grabbed Sif’s ankle with one hand, and flung her into the ground.

Sif had no time to react at all. Her head smashed straight through the floor, and she fell to the first floor, sinking into unconsciousness.

”Ah!”

Seeing this, the Warriors Three roared and charged toward Orion Cross. Orion Cross casually swept out a stream of sand. The three of them slid along it, and Orion Cross kicked them one by one, sending them flying outside.

”Is that all? Without the crushing advantage of power and physique, what else do you gods have?”

Orion Cross looked at Thor, who was sitting awkwardly in the ruined room, and spoke.
