Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

The next morning, Amazon warriors lined up along the shore and began the farewell ceremony for their princess.

Countless flaming arrows shot into the sky and fell into the sea.

”Diana, remember, this place will always be your home.”

Antiope walked up to Diana and patted her on the shoulder. ”You are already strong enough now, but you still need to keep working hard.”

”I will come back.”

Diana glanced at the dragon scale hanging around Hippolyta’s neck, then nodded.

”Then go. Let those mortals outside witness the power of the Amazons.”

Antiope looked at Diana, who was brimming with heroic spirit, and pushed her forward with a loud laugh.

”Goodbye...”

Diana had only just begun her farewell when a roar came from the sky above the sea.

The magical barrier surrounding Themyscira rippled, and a plane trailing flames and black smoke broke through it.

”It’s a human from the outside world!”

Hippolyta immediately took the bow from her back and stared into the distance warily.

Only after she saw the plane crash into the sea did Hippolyta relax her guard slightly. ”Antiope, go see if that human is still alive. Bring him here. We must know why he was able to break into this place.”

”Yes!”

Antiope answered, then before entering the water, she walked over to Diana and Orion Cross. ”Wait before you set out. There may be danger outside.”

Splash.

Antiope jumped into the sea and swam toward the wrecked plane.

As a race that had once gone to war with Atlantis, the Amazons naturally had excellent swimming skills.

Before long, a stubbled man was dragged ashore by Antiope.

”Huff...”

Hippolyta walked up to the man and was just about to question him when another roar came from the distant waters.

Several patrol boats and a warship broke through Themyscira’s mist barrier and sailed in.

”Who exactly are you people, and why have you intruded into Themyscira?”

Seeing this, Hippolyta drew the longsword at her waist and placed it across the neck of the man lying on the ground as she shouted angrily.

”I’m one of the good guys. They’re the bad guys.”

The man glanced at the army in the distance and grew a little panicked. ”Don’t stand here. Hurry and find cover!”

”Prepare to fire!”

The commander aboard the distant warship gave the order.

”Archers, ready!”

Hearing the enemy’s order to attack, Hippolyta immediately turned and commanded her own warriors.

”Sister, we used up most of our arrows during the farewell ceremony just now!”

Antiope took off the quiver on her back and showed Hippolyta that only three arrows remained inside, let alone the other ordinary Amazon warriors.

”Then use swords. Use spears. Defend our home!”

Hippolyta threw away the bow in her hand, raised her longsword high, and prepared to lead the charge herself.

”Wait. You don’t have guns?”

The man lying on the ground looked at everyone in confusion and asked.

However, no one paid any attention to him. Only one Amazon warrior took over the task of guarding him and placed a sword across his neck.

”Fall back. Leave the surface of the sea.”

Orion Cross walked to Hippolyta’s side and said.

”This is our war...”

Hippolyta frowned.

”Countdown. Three...”

”Retreat!”

Hippolyta’s expression changed immediately, and she shouted loudly.

The Amazon warriors who had just picked up their weapons and prepared to charge into a bloody battle were all stunned, but they still obeyed the queen’s order at once and withdrew behind her.

”What are you planning to do...”

Snap!

Before Hippolyta could finish speaking, Orion Cross snapped his fingers toward the sky.

Boom!

A bolt of lightning descended from the clear sky and overturned a ship.

Snap.

Boom!

Another ship was struck down.

”Fire!!!”

At that moment, all the soldiers on the warship lined up and raised their rifles, aiming at the Amazon warriors on the shore.

”Then I’ll waste a little magic.”

Looking at the dense rain of bullets shooting toward them, Orion Cross raised his right hand and spun it through the air. A giant portal flashing with sparks appeared, blocking everyone in front.

All the bullets were swallowed into the portal.

As for where the other end of the portal was...

To open a portal, one needed coordinates, at least coordinates visible to the naked eye.

In this world, Orion Cross had only been to Themyscira, so naturally, the other side was... above the enemy’s heads.

A portal appeared above the warship, and countless bullets poured out.

Through the portal, Orion Cross watched the enemies being killed one after another by their own bullets. Then he glanced at the man beside him, who was already dumbfounded, and jumped into the portal.

Soon, Orion Cross returned carrying a disarmed captive and threw him onto the ground.

By the time he came back, the warship had also exploded, turning into a beautiful firework on the surface of the sea.

”Don’t we already have one captive?”

Diana looked at Orion Cross, puzzled that he had gone to capture another person, and walked over to his side to ask.

”Because one person’s words are too one-sided. Even if you have the Lasso of Truth, you still can’t directly learn the truth from a person’s mouth.”

Orion Cross looked calmly at the two captives on the ground and said.

”He’s right, Diana. Now it’s your turn.”

Hippolyta walked over. She had just witnessed the weapons of the outside humans and deeply understood that if Orion Cross had not acted, the Amazons would have suffered heavy losses.

”I understand.”

Diana drew the Lasso of Truth from her waist and swung it toward one of them.

”State your identity!”

Hippolyta stared at the man and asked sternly.

”I... my name is Steve Trevor. I’m a U.S. Army pilot, and also a... spy! Damn it, what is this thing?”

Steve Trevor looked at the glowing golden lasso around him in terror and shouted.

”What is your mission?”

Hippolyta ignored Steve Trevor’s question and continued asking.

”I... I disguised myself as a German soldier and infiltrated their base. I discovered they were manufacturing a secret weapon.

The contents were all recorded in a notebook. As long as I bring it back to intelligence, we can end the war.”

Steve Trevor knew he could not resist, so he simply told them everything, only hoping these strange people before him would let him leave.

”War? What war are you talking about?”

Diana, who had already been preparing to leave and deal with Ares, was extremely sensitive to that word and immediately asked.

”War... It’s war. Four years. Twenty-seven countries. Twenty-five million people dead.

Soldiers and civilians. Innocent people. Women and children massacred. Their homes looted and burned...”

The more Steve Trevor spoke, the more emotional he became. His voice and expression were full of feeling, and he even stirred the emotions of the people around him.

”So you are righteous, and he is evil?”

Diana glanced at the German soldier beside him, then looked at Steve Trevor and asked.

”Yes.”

Steve Trevor looked at this beautiful woman and nodded firmly.

”What is your name? Do you think what he said is correct?”

Diana directly placed the Lasso of Truth around the German soldier and asked.

”My name is Lucas Luther. We, the Central Powers, are the righteous army destined for victory! You scum are the evil ones!!”

The German soldier glared furiously at Steve Trevor and roared.

Under the Lasso of Truth, one could only speak the truth.

Everyone was thrown into confusion at once.

In the end, whose words were true?
