Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

With the idea of going out for a ”trip,” Orion Cross decided to make some preparations.

The first thing was to unfollow Thor on social media.

The mission was already complete. If he kept paying attention to the daily life of some grown man every day, that would be way too disgusting.

The second thing was to recall the original timeline.

”Iron Man 1, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor 1, The Avengers...”

Orion Cross briefly thought it over and realized that some major events had happened ahead of schedule.

For example, Hulk had appeared much earlier, and because Orion Cross had intervened, the ending had also become completely different.

There were also some things, such as Whiplash, who had been instantly killed by Orion Cross. Iron Man 2 had basically evaporated.

And now... the next thing that should appear was the Chitauri army’s invasion of New York.

”Good thing I had foresight back then.”

Orion Cross sighed. When he had chosen this street in Queens instead of central New York, it had been precisely to avoid large-scale destruction.

If nothing changed, then all the fighting would revolve around Tony’s building, that unbelievably arrogant Stark Tower.

Opening the map on his phone and checking the distance between his home address and Stark Tower, Orion Cross roughly estimated it. When the time came, as long as he defended the area slightly, there would not be any danger.

”The real problem now is on Motherfucker Man’s side. Seriously, he never lets people relax.”

If Orion Cross had guessed correctly, ever since the news of Thor and Asgard reached Nick Fury’s ears, he had once again developed the idea of researching the Tesseract.

It was also because of this that Nick Fury had chosen to keep Dr. Selvig and Jane Foster behind and form a small research team.

Nick Fury’s decision would not be opposed by anyone, especially not by the Hydra moles inside S.H.I.E.L.D. Researching the Tesseract was their old specialty.

And now, when the Chitauri army would descend depended entirely on the speed of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s research progress.

However, that speed was something Orion Cross could not know.

Even if he went to ask, Nick Fury definitely would not tell him, and neither would his subordinates.

Because researching the Tesseract and manufacturing new weapons was not only for guarding against other civilizations in the universe, but also for guarding against Orion Cross.

After all, from the new intelligence Coulson had brought back, it would not be hard for Nick Fury to discover that Orion Cross was already essentially capable of matching all of Asgard.

And just like that saying: When you are good, you are a reliable partner. But when you fall, who can stop you?

Nick Fury’s trust in Orion Cross had once reached fifty percent, but it had also stopped at fifty percent. That was his bottom line as the King of Agents.

Doubt everyone.

As for why Nick Fury only guarded against other alien civilizations and Orion Cross, but did not try to guard against Captain America or Iron Man, it was naturally not because Steve and Tony were so noble and great.

It was because their strength had not yet reached the level where Nick Fury needed to guard against them.

Alien civilizations. Orion Cross.

One was an unknown fear. The other was a known fear.

So Orion Cross chose to accept this uncertain future.

In any case, when the time came, the first to suffer setbacks would definitely be S.H.I.E.L.D. As for Orion Cross, he only needed to leave a few backup measures behind, and he would be able to react immediately.

After all, if Loki wanted to open the portal, he could not do it alone.

There was plenty of time.

Orion Cross walked out of the bedroom, went downstairs, arrived at Wanda’s bedroom door, knocked, and stepped inside.

In the room, Natasha was explaining textbook knowledge to Wanda.

”I’m preparing to go on a little trip. If anything urgent happens, use this scale to contact me.”

Orion Cross walked forward and tossed out two pieces of Galakrond’s dragon scales. ”Give the other one to Skye. Tell her that if necessary, she can directly hack into S.H.I.E.L.D.’s network. There’s no need to be polite.”

”You’re teaching her bad habits.”

Natasha smiled as she took the scales. After holding them under the sunlight to examine them, she stuffed them into her pocket.

Skye’s hacking ability was indeed powerful, but S.H.I.E.L.D. was not useless either. Just like the last time she had hacked into Stark Industries’ network, breaking in was simple, but erasing the traces of the attack was very difficult. Trying not to be discovered was even harder.

The profession of hacking required both offense and defense. Otherwise, one’s real-life self would be threatened.

And with Orion Cross’s words, he was basically removing the real-world threat Skye faced as a hacker.

”I’m just saving everyone’s lives.”

Orion Cross shrugged slightly, not caring. ”Maybe when the time comes, you can choose to stop her, slowly investigate the truth, then drag things out until hundreds or thousands of people are dead before coming to find me.”

”You... peeked into the future again?”

Hearing Orion Cross say this, Natasha looked at him in surprise.

”You can think of it that way.”

Orion Cross was too lazy to explain. At this moment, he seemed to understand why the protagonists in novels from his previous life always liked pretending to be prophets.

It was not just to show off. It was because explaining everything was genuinely troublesome.

And now, one line like ”I can see the future” solved everything.

”Then where are you planning to go this time? That world of magic?”

This time, Natasha did not ask Orion Cross to bring her along. First, she knew she would be a burden. Second, after going once, she had already confirmed that other dimensions really existed, so going again had no meaning.

”No. Another one.”

Orion Cross took out his phone and searched for Justice League. As expected, nothing appeared, so he changed the keywords and found an image.

”Have you seen this comic?”

On the phone screen, a muscular man wearing a blue bodysuit with red underwear on the outside was striking a flying pose.

”Superman? Of course I’ve read it. But it didn’t sell as well as Steve’s live-action adaptation comics, so it gradually declined later. Wanda should have seen it too, right?”

Natasha glanced at it and thought back for a moment before speaking.

”No.”

Wanda shook her head. ”But when I was little, Mom told me Superman stories.”

Natasha: ”...”

Great. So she had ended up in Wanda’s mother’s generation?

Sure enough, saying she had read Superman comics exposed her age.

Thinking of this, Natasha looked at Orion Cross resentfully.

”What?”

Orion Cross felt baffled by her gaze.

”You’re preparing to go to Superman’s world? Can you beat Superman?”

Natasha glanced at the eye-searing uniform in the Superman comic and felt that Orion Cross’s outfit was still much more pleasing to the eye.

”Who said going to Superman’s world means I have to fight Superman? I’m going to find someone else.”

Orion Cross pulled out a rope emitting golden light from behind him.

”What are you doing?!”

Seeing the Lasso of Truth, Natasha warily took several steps back.
